At Korya High School, Gu Jie and Gu Qing were playing badminton together. Gu Jie smashed the shuttlecock with one stroke. Before Gu Qing could react, it had already fallen to the ground.

Gu Qing glared at him angrily. He turned to look around and soon spotted Kaize in the distance.

Gu Qing turned to look at Gu Jie. Soon, Kaize stood opposite Gu Jie with a badminton racket in hand. Gu Jie looked at Kaize and got into a ready position. Gu Qing pushed Yeey aside to watch.
Kaize served the shuttlecock. Gu Jie gently returned it. Kaize lifted it high to the backcourt. Gu Jie looked up and stepped backward—only to trip over his own feet and fall to the ground. In the distance, Gu Qing laughed so hard he could barely close his mouth. Gu Jie stood up awkwardly.
After finishing a full match, Kaize and Gu Jie sat beside Yeey and Gu Qing to drink water. Gu Qing looked at Gu Jie and said, "Your skills are just like that."
Gu Jie glared at him angrily. Yeey looked at the two of them and laughed. "Why would your mom give birth to two people who look exactly the same?"
Gu Jie and Gu Qing asked at the same time in confusion, "What do you mean?"
Yeey looked at their identical reactions and continued laughing. "Nothing, nothing."
The two brothers exchanged puzzled looks, then stood up and walked out. Yeey watched their backs as they left, smiling. Kaize looked at Yeey's profile.
After school, Yeey and Kaize soon got into the car driven by Fumei. Kaize looked at Yeey, who was leaning on his shoulder, and asked, "Why do I feel like you're becoming more and more like Oye?"
Yeey raised his eyes and asked, "Really?"
Kaize nodded. "Just now, when you were talking to those twins, you were actually joking. The old you didn't seem to joke like that."
Yeey lowered his eyes and said with a choked voice, "Maybe… it's because…"
Before he could finish, a sudden sharp pain struck his heart. Kaize straightened him up and asked, "Are you okay?"
Yeey showed a painful expression. "I'm fine."
Kaize looked at him worriedly. Fumei, who was driving, felt deeply troubled after hearing their conversation.
Not long after, they arrived home. Fumei was about to park the car in the garage when she noticed a stranger standing at their front door. She said to Kaize, "Kaize, take a look—who is that person outside?"
Yeey was leaning on Kaize's shoulder. Kaize suddenly leaned forward to look out the window. Yeey shouted a few times and then his body collapsed uncontrollably. Kaize quickly turned around and held him steady.
At that moment, Sanz, who was standing at the door repeatedly pressing the doorbell, was eagerly anticipating seeing Liu Ly inside. Suddenly, Kaize rushed over from the side and tackled him to the ground.
Kaize pinned him down and asked, "What are you doing at our house?"
Fumei pushed Yeey over. Sanz looked at Kaize in panic. "I—I came to look for… Liu Ly."
Kaize looked confused. "Liu Ly?"
Sanz nodded. After hearing this, Yeey looked up toward the second-floor window. Liu Ly, seeing Yeey looking at her, quickly pulled the curtains shut and nervously hid behind them.
Some time later, after Kaize finished explaining Liu Ly's situation to Sanz, Sanz looked upstairs in shock. Fumei came over and said, "You can stay at our place tonight."
Yeey looked at Fumei. "But we don't have any spare rooms."
Fumei smiled. "Sanz is a boy too. It's fine for him to sleep with you two."
Kaize was about to object, but Sanz jumped up happily. "Sure!"
Yeey looked at Kaize. Kaize shook his head helplessly.
At night, Kaize and Sanz sat on the bed staring at each other, while Yeey sat in his wheelchair watching them. Seeing the atmosphere about to freeze solid, Yeey tried to start a conversation and asked Sanz, "How old are you?"
Sanz answered with a smile, "Eighteen."
Yeey laughed. "Kaize is sixteen, I'm seventeen, and you're eighteen—perfect, all gathered in order."
After saying that, the three of them laughed awkwardly.
At that moment, Kaize said to Sanz, "So… could you maybe sleep on the sofa downstairs?"
Sanz asked in confusion, "Why?"
Kaize glanced at Yeey. "Because he can't move his hands or feet, I need to help him with some… physical needs."

Beside them, Yeey laughed so hard he couldn't stop.
