******** Epilogue************

Six Years Later

Jay's POV

Courtrooms are easier than parenting.

That's the first thought in my head as I sit at the kitchen table, staring at the message on my phone for the fifth time.

Mrs. Watson , I regret to inform you that Kai and Kira were involved in another fight today…

Another.

I sigh and lean back in my chair.

Somehow I became a successful lawyer, known for winning tough cases. Judges respect me. Opposing attorneys fear me.

But nothing in law school prepared me for raising twins.

Kai and Kira.

Six years old.

Same stubborn attitude. Same fearless energy.

And apparently… the same talent for starting fights.

I check the time.

Keifer should be home any minute. He was the one picking them up from school today.

Good.

Because right now I'm deciding whether I should lecture them for ten minutes… or thirty.

Just then, the front door opens.

"Baby?" Keifer's voice calls.

I cross my arms.

"In the kitchen."

A moment later, Keifer walks in… followed by two very familiar tiny figures.

Kai and Kira stop the second they see me.

Uh oh.

The twins looked at each other.

"Uh oh," whispered the kai.

"Yep," whispered the kira.

I raised an eyebrow.

"Well?" I said calmly.

The twins stepped inside.

Kai tried smiling.

"Hi mom…"

Kira added quickly, "You look nice today."

I held up the letter.

Both twins froze.

Kai sighed. "We're in trouble."

"Big trouble," Kira corrected.

I walked toward them slowly.

"I just got a message from your teacher," I said. "Apparently you two got into a fight today."

The twins immediately started talking.

"It wasn't our fault!"

"Yeah!"

I raised my hand.

"One at a time."

Kira pointed at Kai.

"He started it."

Kai gasped. "TRAITOR!"

Kira crossed her arms. "You said you'd take the blame!"

I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Explain."

Kai stepped forward.

"There's this boy in class," he said seriously. "He took Kira's pencil."

I blinked.

"…a pencil?"

Kira nodded dramatically.

"My favorite glitter pencil."

Kai clenched his tiny fists.

"So I defended her."

I narrowed my eyes.

"You punched him?"

Kai looked proud.

"…a little."

Kira corrected him.

"He tackled him."

Jay stared at them.

Six years old.

Already acting like action movie heroes.

Keifer tries to stay serious beside me but I can see the corner of his mouth twitching.

"Don't laugh," I warn him.

"I'm not!" he says quickly… while clearly trying not to laugh.

Kai crosses his arms proudly.

"No one steals from my sister."

Kira pats his shoulder like a tiny commander.

"Good job, soldier."

I rub my forehead.

I really need coffee.

Just as I'm about to start the Lecture, the doorbell rings.

I frown.

"Are we expecting someone?"

Keifer suddenly looks suspiciously cheerful.

"…maybe."

I slowly turn toward him.

"What did you do?"

He scratches the back of his neck.

"Well… I thought you deserved a break."

Before I can question that, the front door bursts open.

The door swung open and Felix barged in, holding what looked like a mountain of pizza boxes. "SURPRISE!"

"Felix! You're insane!" I exclaimed.

Behind him, Eman appeared, balancing snacks and drinks while juggling a coffee and a pastry.

"Don't worry, Mom," Kai whispered. "Uncle Felix and Eman came to rescue us."

Adrian walked in next, casually holding his tablet. "And I have the Wi-Fi coverage to stream this chaos live."

Chantelle and Ciel entered together, each filming the chaos with their cameras, already planning social media content. Behind them came Calix and David, grinning as they carried more snacks.

Then… my jaw dropped.

The door opened again, and there was Aries and Ella, holding the hand of their little boy, Leo, who looked wide-eyed at all the chaos.

"Hi Aunt Jay!" Leo shouted, running toward me.

I scooped him up. "Hi, Leo! Are you ready for a war with your cousins?"

Kai immediately ran toward him, Kira following. "COUSIN WAR!" they shouted in unison.

And then, just as I was trying to regain my composure, the door opened once more.

In stepped Ci-n, still wearing his pilot uniform, looking exhausted but glowing. Behind him was Valerie and Adrian , and I froze. Seeing her here made my heart skip a beat—she looked so happy, her smile lighting up the room.

"Jay!" she called softly.

"Valerie!" I gasped. We hugged tightly. She whispered, "It's been too long."

Before I could process, Adrian gently placed their son, Orion, in my arms. "He's been looking forward to meeting everyone," Adrian said, laughing.

Kai and Kira squealed. "A NEW COUSIN!"

Then Chantelle and Adrew daughter, Luna, who immediately ran to join the chaos, squealing at Leo and the twins.

Yuri and Ciel son, Aiden, and Kai immediately grabbed him. "Fight team assemble!"

The living room erupted into a whirlwind of laughter, shouting, and snack theft. Pizza boxes were strewn across the floor, drinks spilled, and someone—probably Kira—was perched atop a chair, waving a glitter pencil like a sword.

Keifer leaned against me, smirking. "You happy now?"

"Ecstatic," I said, shaking my head. "This is chaos, pure chaos."

Kai tugged at my sleeve. "Mom! Watch me!"

Before I could stop him, he jumped onto the couch, dragging Orion along. Kira was busy challenging Luna to a duel with snacks as swords.

I sighed… then laughed. Six years ago, I would never have imagined this—a house full of our closest friends, our kids running wild, and laughter echoing from every corner.

Keifer leaned down, kissing my cheek. "You handled all of this without me. Impressive, Mrs. Watson ."

I smiled. "I have help… and a lot of patience. And you."

Felix and Ci-n were arguing over who got the last slice of pizza. Adrian was trying to manage snacks while Chantelle and Ciel documented everything on camera.

Aries picked up Kai mid-flight. "Careful, soldier!"

Ella helped Kira get a snack. Leo was attempting to climb onto the couch with Orion, and suddenly all five kids collided in a soft, giggling heap.

Ci-n chuckled beside me. "I didn't know being a pilot came with crash landings in the living room."

Valerie laughed. "You should see them at the playground."

Yuri grinned. "I've never seen the twins this chaotic."

And in the middle of all this madness… I realized something.

Yes, life was messy. Yes, our kids were stubborn, wild, and ridiculously strong-willed.

But it was beautiful. Every laugh, every chaotic fight, every hug—they were all ours.

Keifer grabbed my hand. "Ready for the next years?"

I squeezed back, smiling. "Bring it on." 🌟

Because if six years taught me anything… we're stronger together. Always.

And the house? It would survive. Somehow. Barely.

But we'd survive.

Together. ❤️🐺
