Karlotta or painith if you haven't forgotten was surprised by the sudden news of tragedies happening whilst she was enjoying her lonesome sandwhich, but amidst the confusion she remembered her own family and decided to try and gather more information about them.
First and foremost since she had no idea what the city was like she needed information. She thought about how to get the things she needed when she decided not to overthink things and just strike up a conversation with someone and gather info about the city then about her family.

Then suddenly she heard more news from the same screen if was about how sinkholes were appearing at areas almost unaffected by them before and at shorter intervals but greater magnitudes. She kept this part of the afternoon news in her head along with the one concerning the overhead bridges.
The desolate park was almost empty at afternoon was it just the less crowded time of day or today was an exception karli didn't know, but she did spot an elderly woman watching the pigeons as they ate the birdfeed she threw, a group of girls fawning over an obese cat and a short but serious man in a business suit. After a not so long thought over this she chose the old lady.
She took one look at the woman then glanced at the cashmere shawl sitting in her bag then sighed before she put on a subtle but noticable smile. She bickered over what to say in ger mind then finally decided to approach thd old woman and just let thd conversation flow narurally.
"Hello ma'am good afternoon" karli said following this with "Pardon but may i trouble you with something...- that i need help with:
"Hmm yes dear lovely weather what did you need again?"asked the old woman innocently now brimming with a long and friendly smile.

Karli just understood that the old woman was lonely the entire time and wanted to talk so she politely asked if she could sit beside her at a slightly louder voice in a slower manner.
The woman too obliged and the two of them chatted about who knows what, everything from the news just broadcasted to the birdfeed she used to the comiel family. They talked alot and their talk helpes karli alot too.
Finishing this conversation took a while and it was evening by the time the old lady struggled to stand up and say her goodbyes. Though karli was just going to bid farewell on the bemch she decided that moment that she was a girl with good manners so, she volunteered to take her home but was quickly shut down, which made her sad but seeing the friendly new companion she had made she didn't want to pressure her so they went their separate ways with little walking for karli.

1.Her parents haven't returned fron their so-called "short business" trip and have been missing from their quarters for more than a few days this news was informed to the public yesterdays so no one knows how long was the few days.
2.Padparadashca comiel her brother has been missing since monday. He seemingly never arrived at work neither was he seen leaving the house. (He usually worked remotely with the exception of a few days one of those days being monday)
3.Things were growing stranger by the minutes but Jean (the old lady's name) didn't have the time to explain so she told karli to go to the librairy to fimd out more.
Karli knew about what librairies were but The Librairy what was that? and where?also could she spend the night there? As she pondered long she decided to set things aside and sleep not like a homeless person but as a temporary homeless person with a bit of temporary money.
She found out that 24/7 gyms existed and what gyms were altogether she didn't initially understand the concept so she decided to visit one and sleep in the female lockeroom. A not so bad idea she thought
