1976. Lancelot, accompanied by White Queen Emma and Mystique Raven, had now settled in the God Realm—a place entirely separate from Earth, existing beyond ordinary time.
Three days after establishing himself, Dr. Leonard calculated the time ratio between the God Realm and Earth:
1:30
One day in the God Realm equaled one month on Earth.
Following Lancelot's migration plan, mutants were being implanted with space membranes one by one and beginning their new lives in the God Realm.
As the population of mutants grew, the God Realm's development accelerated dramatically. Within just seven days, the mutants constructed ten massive cities, each ten times the size of the Siberian base.
In the seven days of God Realm time, 120 Earth days and four months had passed. Yet, Earth itself had barely changed.
The only significant events on Earth were within Stark Industries. That year, the company announced its entry into the weapons sector. Howard Stark dismissed a worker named Anthony Vanc, who was later accused of espionage by the U.S. and exiled to Siberia. Stark Industries' stock soared, solidifying Howard Stark's position as one of the world's richest billionaires.
In August 1976, the prodigy Tony Stark personally built his first sports car, outperforming all contemporaries by 200%.
While everyone hailed Tony as a genius, Howard Stark flew into a rage and confined Tony at home. The media buzzed with stories about the stern, uncompromising father.
Only Tony knew the truth: while building the car, he had been exposed to a radioactive substance, almost killing him. Howard personally traveled to Evolution Glory Biotech, pleading for the antidote serum, which saved Tony from the lethal effects of palladium. From then on, Howard forbade Tony from touching any hazardous materials, becoming a father who never lied and always imposed strict discipline.
In December 1976, Colonel William Stryker discovered a mysterious alien artifact in Africa and began studying it.
Meanwhile, Wolverine (Logan), roaming the globe, encountered Stryker, who persuaded him to become a subordinate under the pretext of helping him grow stronger.
By May 1977, the ten-year-old Carol Danvers suffered a bicycle accident, fracturing her leg. Her father, frustrated, procured a fast-acting serum from Evolution Glory Biotech, ensuring her recovery.
In September 1977, the future Falcon, Sam Wilson, was born in Hamlet, New York.
That same month, more mutants from the Evolution House underwent space membrane implantation, joining Lancelot in the God Realm.
Now, in his palace, Lancelot observed the clouds rolling across the skies and felt Earth below. To him, two Earth years had passed, but only one month had elapsed in the God Realm.
The God Realm's population had surpassed 300, all allocated to new residential zones. With the influx of mutants, the once desolate kingdom began to flourish.
Lancelot sat on his throne, reviewing reports from the Earth Mutant Evolution Center. Seeing Tony Stark nearly die from palladium exposure at age six, he felt a pang of sympathy.
Yet, seeing Tony saved by the Evolution House's antidote serum made Lancelot's expression playful. Even settled in the God Realm, his influence subtly shaped Earth.
"Is Wolverine Logan's scheme about to begin?" Lancelot mused, tapping the table with his right hand and revealing a 3D projection.
"Monitor him closely, Bradley. I want control over everything he does," Lancelot commanded. In the projection, Bradley appeared on Earth, overseeing global networks through a neural enhancement device.
"Eadman Alloy, the hardest metal on Earth," Lancelot muttered with interest. If he could master its formula, mass production would be possible.
"White Queen Emma," Lancelot said, activating the communications device.
A minute later, Emma, clad in Sentinel armor, strode into his arms.
"Have you found Anthony Vanc?" Lancelot asked calmly, kissing her gently.
"My King, Anthony Vanc has been located," Emma replied.
"Excellent. Take me to Adoni Vanc. I need his Arc Reactor technology," Lancelot said, rising from his throne.
At this point, the God Realm faced a development bottleneck, with energy being the key limitation. The sprawling God City required massive power to sustain its technology.
Until now, energy came from Xiao Hei Di's constant absorption and release, a temporary solution at best. Lancelot needed more permanent power, particularly with the 1980s approaching, an era fraught with threats—from divine invasions by Igo to the resurrection of the first mutant god, Apocalypse.
In this energy-critical era, Anthony Vanc was indispensable. Beyond Howard Stark, he was the only scientist with Arc Reactor schematics and technical data.
