Chapter 107: Secret Hideout

"He looks very young," Morgan noted when she removed the mask.

"Probably young enough to be a student. Looks like the Dark Lord likes to recruit them early," Harry said. "May as well get this over with." He urged her to continue.

"I know that." Morgan repeated what she had done with Macnair. She placed a finger on Malfoy's forehead and dived deep into the boy's mind.

Harry was carefully observing the young recruit, searching for any signs that would tell him if the same thing was happening again.

However, as he expected, the previous incident had only occurred because of the soul mark. Since this boy didn't have it yet, he did not suffer any harmful effects when Morgan worked her magic.

In fact, he didn't even show any signs of discomfort.

A few minutes later, Morgan opened her eyes.

Harry gave her a moment to recover before asking any questions.

"I think I got it," Morgan said.

"You do?" Harry sounded genuinely surprised. He didn't expect this young recruit to have any useful information.

"He is not a mere random boy, this one." Morgan stood up while glancing over at Draco. "He is the current heir of the Malfoy House and soon to be Lord, since the previous one died two years ago."

"Malfoy…" Harry searched his memories, trying to find the necessary information from his previous studies about the current political landscape of Magical Britain. "They are one of the richest wizard families in the country."

"The richest one," Morgan corrected. "And it all belongs to this young man. Draco Malfoy."

"What is such an important little lord doing with all these dangerous men?"

"From what I could gather from his memories, the previous Lord Malfoy was a huge supporter of Lord Voldemort. By the time the Dark Lord made his return, Lucius Malfoy had already died, so this boy is taking his father's place."

"So the Dark Lord is keeping the young Malfoy close so he can make use of the family fortune," Harry said.

"Everyone needs money, even evil wizards," Morgan responded.

"And? What else did you get?"

"This Lord Voldemort, along with this entire inner circle, is currently staying at Malfoy Manor."

Harry noticed the expression she was making. "But…?"

"That house is protected by very old and powerful wards. I cannot get the exact location from the boy's head. However, I do know the general area where the manor is supposed to be. To find it, we would need to go there and try to break down the wards."

"Can't the little Malfoy take us there? It's his house?" Harry asked.

"If he really wanted to take us there, yes. But if you try to force him, then it would not work. Intent wards are very easy to set up and available in pretty much every wizard home for this exact reason," Morgan explained.

Harry sighed. This was going to take a while. "Okay then… let's go."

"You wish to go now?" Morgan raised an eyebrow.

"Why not? It's not even midnight yet. And I want to solve this problem as soon as I can." Harry wanted to focus on more important matters, but this Dark Lord kept being an annoyance.

"What about them?" She pointed at Snape and Malfoy.

"Leave them. I take no pleasure in killing without a good reason. The boy is not a threat, and Snape… well, I don't think Mister Dumbledore would be happy if I took him out. He is also supposed to be working as a spy for both sides."

"There is no way to tell his true allegiance. The old Headmaster has always struck me as naive," Morgan pointed out.

"If it turns out he was a traitor all along, I'll deal with him myself. But until then…"

"Fine." Morgan didn't seem to care all that much. "Let us go there." She offered Harry her hands. "Come on. I'll take you there."

Harry took her hand and disappeared from the wooden hut, leaving an injured Snape and an unconscious Draco Malfoy on the floor of the entrance hall. It would take hours for the effects of the spell that Harry had placed on them to wear off. Only then would they be able to wake up.

It was not going to be a pleasant experience for either.

Morgan separated the two of them onto a large hill that seemed to overlook a small coastal village.

The landscape appeared to be quite beautiful and tranquil, especially during this late hour, with the full moon shining over their heads.

"This is definitely a nice place to put a house on," Morgan said.

"Indeed." Harry looked around the hill. "The view from up here is not bad. So I can guess that this is where the manor is located… but we can't see it."

Morgan pulled her wand and moved it around in seemingly random directions. "There is a high concentration of magic on this hill, so the spot is definitely the correct one. There are many ways to break into a wizard house. We can try to pierce a small hole that could allow us to sneak inside, or maybe…"

Harry called for his staff, earning a suspicious look from Morgan. Staffs are great for large-scale spells, but not so much for delicate work such as ward-breaking.

"What are you planning exactly?" Morgan asked Harry as he walked a bit further away.

Harry smiled. "Don't you worry. I believe I have just the spell that could get us inside in no time. I just need a moment to prepare…"

Morgan watched him sitting down on the grassy hill and tapping it with his staff, and she was getting a bad feeling about this.
