Chapter 362: Visitors from the Sky Island
"Let's go—time to find Whitebeard and have a drink!"
Kaido laughed loudly as he shouted.
He was going to show off—he had broken through before Whitebeard, and then he would beat him up for good measure.
"Ohhh!"
The Beasts Pirates burst into cheers.
Anyone who didn't know better would think they were heading off to attack the Whitebeard Pirates.
...
Sky Island.
White Sea.
"So this is the production base of the Dragon Flame Pirate Crew!"
"Hidden in the sky—no wonder we couldn't find it."
On the surface of the White Sea, a special black ship, only a few meters long, was slowly moving forward.
On the ship stood two figures, one in black and one in white, dressed accordingly.
The one in black was a tall woman with a mature allure, wearing a black leather outfit that perfectly accentuated her figure.
The one in white was a man in a suit, wearing a gentle, refined smile that made him appear very approachable.
Soon, they arrived at Heaven's Gate.
At this moment, a squad of Divine Guards stood watch at Heaven's Gate, each equipped with numerous weapons.
"Alert!"
Upon spotting the black ship, the captain of the Divine Guards shouted, already aiming his weapon at it.
Click, click…
The others also raised their weapons, aiming at the two people aboard.
"Who are you?!"
The captain shouted warily.
"Heh, interesting. Are these the natives of the Sky Island? They actually have wings on their backs—how peculiar."
Jida said with a smile.
Beside him, Rebecca coldly looked at them. Then she raised her hand toward them, her slender fingers curling slightly.
"Attack!"
The captain's pupils shrank as he immediately shouted, slamming the alarm.
Wooo—
A long, piercing sound rang out.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—
Rebecca's pale fingers flicked, and countless tiny slashes shot out, instantly slicing across the throats of every member of the Divine Guards.
Their eyes widened in disbelief.
Then their bodies slowly collapsed.
Thud, thud, thud…
In an instant, Heaven's Gate was littered with corpses.
"Tsk, you're still as ruthless as ever, Rebecca," Jida clicked his tongue with a grin, though there was not a trace of pity in his eyes.
Rebecca did not respond.
Jida shrugged.
Then the black ship surged forward on its own, charging through Heaven's Gate and heading upward.
On Angel Island—
Wooo, wooo—
Hearing the alarm, everyone was alerted.
"Enemy invasion! All units, prepare for battle!"
"Enemy invasion!"
Shouts rang out one after another.
Click, click…
Everyone on the Sky Island sprang into action, rushing out of their homes with guns made from dials in hand, gathering at the shore as they stared solemnly at the sea.
The alarm had not been lifted, meaning the enemies below were either numerous—or extremely powerful.
The commander of the Divine Guards on Angel Island quickly led his forces, forming a defensive formation along the shore.
Splash!!
A black ship burst out from the sea, landing upon the White-White Sea.
"Prepare!"
As the black ship appeared, revealing the two figures aboard, the commander shouted and then swung his hand down.
"Fire!"
Bang, bang, bang…
A barrage of gunfire erupted.
Bullets shot out, racing toward the two on the black ship.
"Tsk, didn't expect there to be so many soldiers!"
Jida clicked his tongue in admiration as he looked at the troops, nodding slightly.
"Air Shield!"
He slowly raised his hand and spread his fingers.
Bang, bang, bang!
All the bullets stopped midair in front of him—then dropped straight down.
