Chapter 156 - Chapter 156: Millennium Dragon Fusion

Chapter 156: Millennium Dragon Fusion

Ze didn't even look at the Baby Dragon. He summoned again, this time spending eleven million Beli to summon eleven times in a row.

[Ding! Obtained: Oviraptor]

[Ding! Obtained: Arm-Bone Dragon]

[Ding! Obtained: Herrerasaurus]

[Ding! Obtained: Big-Eyed Ichthyosaur]

[Ding…]

One notification after another rang out as dinosaurs appeared one by one.

Very soon, the entire grand hall was filled with them—eleven in total.

But not a single one was a large dinosaur. In fact, the Baby Dragon he summoned at the beginning was still the biggest among them.

"Forget it. I only need something to experiment with anyway. This will do."

He opened the Fusion panel, placed the Baby Dragon inside, then added the Marine rear admiral.

After a moment of thought… he tossed in a Millennium Dragon egg as well.

Finally, he selected Confirm.

[Original Form],[Variant Form]

He directly chose Variant Form.

Ten million Beli deducted.

Buzz!!

A flash of light swept the room.

When it faded, a bare-chested middle-aged man stood on the floor. His expression was cold, his mouth slightly elongated, his eyes a bit large. Overall… quite ugly.

[Name]: Baby Dragon

[Type]: Giant Oviraptor-type

[Abilities]: Longevity (lifespan over a thousand years), Transformation (can switch between human and beast forms), Sword Talent (a natural swordsman)

[Strength]: Marine Headquarters — Lieutenant Commander!

Seeing these stats, Ze's eyes widened sharply.

"So Millennium Dragons really can live that long…"

He was stunned. The legend turned out to be true—he had only been testing it out.

And… it looked like fusion could grant innate talents too.

The sword talent must have come from the Marine rear admiral and was passed on to Baby Dragon.

Its strength also seemed to carry over slightly.

"Master!" Baby Dragon spoke, his voice sharp.

"Mm. Did you inherit any memories?"

Ze asked curiously.

"No… none." Baby Dragon froze for a moment, then shook his head.

"Then never mind."

Ze shrugged. If fusion allowed someone to inherit another's memories, that would've been broken—practically cheating.

But the important part was that he could successfully fuse humans with summoned creatures. That alone was enough. This way, his dinosaurs wouldn't be stuck as massive beasts that took up too much space.

He didn't fuse anything else—these Marines were too weak, and the dinosaurs too low-level.

He had Robin escort them out. The dinosaurs were tossed onto God Island, and the Marines were temporarily locked up.

Just then, a small figure walked in through the doorway.

"Master!"

Enel entered, head lowered as he spoke.

"Just call me sir." Ze looked at the no-longer-skinny Enel, his head aching.

"Master, I want to get stronger…"

Enel muttered to himself.

Ever since returning from Birka, he had never changed the way he addressed Ze, no matter how many times Ze corrected him.

The current Enel had none of the arrogance from the anime. Instead, he was like a quiet, frozen glacier—cold to everyone but Ze. Even Robin, who was about his age, couldn't get a single reaction from him.

"You'll have to wait. Your body's still too weak."

Ze shook his head.

Even though Enel had eaten the Quake-Dragon Fruit and gained a boost in physique, his body had been too drained before. Even with the fruit's feedback, he still wasn't ready.

Light training was fine, but anything intense would affect his future growth.

"Master, what should I do?"

Enel lifted his head, eyes emotionless.

Not emotionless toward Ze—but toward the entire world.
