As more and more instruments were installed, batches of fruits and materials arrived one after another without pause. Su Yu stared at the piles of freshly delivered tree fruits, minerals, and Pokémon-related materials stacked throughout the breeding house, his head starting to ache. There was simply too much—so much that nearly every corner of the place was filled to the brim, making the newly set-up breeding house look more like a warehouse than a workplace.
Glancing at the sky outside, already dyed with the colors of dusk, Su Yu raised his voice toward the children playing in the yard. "Xiaoqing, go get the energy cubes I made this afternoon. Feed Ralts first, and don't forget Pikachu's food. All the energy cubes Auntie and the others helped make have already been moved here." The moment his voice carried over, the children came running out energetically. Xiaoqing responded loudly, already dashing off to help organize the energy cubes.
Meanwhile, Su Yu carried large basins one by one into the backyard. Once they were placed in order, he turned toward the back mountain and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Dinner time!!" The response was immediate. A flurry of movement erupted from the forested slopes, and soon a golden-feathered Pidgeot swooped down under the fading sunlight, followed by flocks of Pidgey. Butterfree, Beedrill, and other Flying-type Pokémon descended as well, while various wild Pokémon that usually helped manage the orchard emerged from different directions. In no time, the backyard of the breeding house was filled with Pokémon of all kinds.
By then, Xiaoqing and the others had already carried over the prepared Pokémon food. The children stared at the scene in front of them with wide, excited eyes. There were simply too many Pokémon—ordinary ones, yes, but the sheer number was overwhelming. Su Yu had them help distribute the low-level energy cubes into the prepared basins. These cubes didn't boost attributes; they simply replenished energy and satisfied hunger. For wild Pokémon, however, that was more than enough. The aroma alone was enough to make them restless.
Standing in front of the gathered Pokémon, Su Yu spoke clearly. "This is everyone's first meal here—but it won't be the last. From now on, I hope you'll come here at this time every day, even if I don't call you. These kids will help distribute the food. Eat until you're full, then return to your homes. And don't waste anything—if you can't finish it, take it back to feed your young. Understood?" The Pokémon leaders responded immediately, nodding without hesitation. Satisfied, Su Yu allowed the meal to begin.
There was some initial chaos, but under Su Yu's firm warnings, order quickly returned. He then personally prepared higher-grade energy cubes for Pikachu and his Flash Pokémon—his own partners would naturally never eat the same food as the wild Pokémon. Ralts, too, received its properly customized energy cubes. After all, Chen Xier had paid for them; Su Yu wasn't about to cut corners. Once everything was settled and the Pokémon began to disperse after eating, Su Yu finally turned back to the work that truly demanded his attention.
Many of the materials were time-sensitive, especially the fruits harvested from Tropius. If they weren't processed immediately, their effectiveness would drop by half overnight. That was unacceptable. Entering the room packed with fruits, Su Yu selected the Tropius fruit first. After peeling and slicing them, he dumped everything into a massive industrial mixer Bu Ni had sent over earlier in the day. As the machine roared to life, the fruit was quickly turned into a smooth paste, similar to mashed bananas.
While the mixer worked, Su Yu turned his attention to the Dragon Skull. Just standing near it, he could feel the dense dragon-type energy radiating outward. He couldn't help muttering that this thing was truly priceless. Tapping it lightly, he noted how hard it was—comparable to rare ores. Carrying it to a specialized grinder designed for large bones, Su Yu activated the machine. The gears, forged from special alloys, screamed as they crushed the massive skull, grinding it cleanly in half. After stopping the machine, Su Yu collected the powdered remains and began secondary processing, mixing the dragon bone powder with Fengmilong's honey-like nectar.
Staring at the gray mixture, Su Yu paused and muttered, "Is this some kind of legendary ash-mix?" He shook his head. Thankfully, this was for Pokémon—no sane human would want to try eating something like this, even if it was technically harmless. After tossing the mixture into a large freezer for preservation, Su Yu returned to the fruit paste, added Fengmilong honey, stirred it thoroughly, and stored it as well. By tomorrow, once it solidified, it would be ready for use.
Only then did Su Yu finally stop and take a breath. Looking around at the remaining piles of fruit and materials, he sighed deeply. The coming days were going to be brutal—but for the sake of money, it was all worth it. Just as he was about to leave the room, Xiaoqing quietly poked her head in from the doorway, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
