Chen Xier's suggestion to once again cover the cost of Su Yu's materials left him completely speechless. He rejected it almost immediately, shaking his head as he explained that it really wasn't appropriate. For common materials, he preferred to go directly to wholesalers and prop suppliers himself. Constantly relying on her help didn't sit right with him, especially when her family's resources and orchards also came at a cost. Only if there were truly rare materials that couldn't be found on the market would he consider asking her for assistance. In his mind, business was business, and favors shouldn't be abused.
Chen Xier opened her mouth as if to argue, but when she met Su Yu's firm gaze, she swallowed her words and finally gave in. She agreed on the surface, but still made it clear that if he ever ran into materials he couldn't obtain, he should contact her immediately. After all, she still had many Pokémon that would need Su Yu's care in the future. Her tone was serious, but beneath it was a clear desire to maintain a good relationship with him. A master breeder was simply too valuable, and more importantly, she genuinely felt comfortable around Su Yu.
Su Yu accepted her words calmly and nodded. He wouldn't refuse help when it was truly needed. Hearing his response, Chen Xier smiled brightly, clearly satisfied.
At that moment, Ralts sensed Chen Xier's arrival and teleported over almost instantly, throwing itself into her arms with a soft cry. Although it was extremely attached to Su Yu, Chen Xier was still its master, and that bond hadn't changed. Deep down, Ralts also had its own little plans. Its sister was still a wild Pokémon, and if Su Yu could subdue her one day, everything would fall perfectly into place. By then, Ralts could evolve, leave for a while, and return under the excuse of visiting its sister. With Chen Xier around, there was no way she would refuse. After all, it was precisely thanks to that sister that Ralts had ended up with Chen Xier in the first place.
Chen Xier hugged Ralts gently, her eyes lighting up as she examined it more closely. She could clearly feel how much stronger it had become in such a short time. She praised Su Yu without hesitation, remarking that Ralts seemed close to evolving already. Ralts nodded excitedly, clearly proud of itself. Fighting wild Pokémon in the mountains every day had paid off, and Su Yu knew exactly why its growth had been so rapid. He had been too busy making energy cubes lately to personally supervise, so Ralts had been left to train on its own—but the results were undeniably impressive.
Not long after, the sound of a motorcycle echoed outside. Bu Ni had arrived, accompanied by a small truck. She parked boldly in front of the breeding house and shouted Su Yu's name without hesitation. As soon as Su Yu heard the familiar engine, he knew who it was and walked out to greet her. He told her to come inside and instructed the driver to enter through the back gate. Bu Ni hurriedly followed, barely able to contain her excitement as she asked whether her energy cubes were ready.
Su Yu nodded and assured her that everything had been completed. He mentioned that Chen Xier was already in the backyard, and by the time they arrived there, several large boxes were neatly stacked in view. Su Yu pointed them out, indicating that those were Bu Ni's orders. Bu Ni rushed over immediately, her eyes lighting up when she saw her name written on the boxes.
As Su Yu opened one of them, he began explaining the arrangement. Each box represented a single meal, carefully portioned according to each Pokémon's appetite. Larger Pokémon like Aggron received bigger boxes, while others were adjusted accordingly. Three boxes per day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—for a full thirty days. Everything had been calculated in advance. If he had left the distribution to the trainers themselves, the Pokémon would probably have eaten freely until the supplies ran out long before the month ended. Su Yu knew Pokémon appetites all too well, and that was exactly why he had structured it this way.
Bu Ni listened attentively and nodded, clearly satisfied. Without waiting any longer, she released all of her Pokémon. As the Poké Balls opened, a series of deep, powerful cries echoed through the yard. One after another, massive figures appeared, each exuding a formidable aura that instantly made the atmosphere heavy and solemn. It was Su Yu's first time seeing Bu Ni's full lineup, and his eyes couldn't help but shine. These Pokémon were exceptionally well trained—so much so that he even felt a brief itch to test himself against them.
That dangerous thought was quickly extinguished. Fighting Pokémon personally was absolutely not something he should be doing.
At the same time, Chen Xier's Flash Metagross fixed its gaze on Su Yu. Using its Psychic abilities, it sensed an overwhelming presence within him—something unsettling and dangerous. That turbulent Psychic pressure made even a Pokémon like Metagross feel a hint of fear, as if this seemingly calm human in front of it was far more terrifying than he appeared on the surface.
