The swirling dust slowly began to settle to the ground, leaving behind an acidic stench that still stung the air.
The seven adventurers, who had been standing frozen at the edge of the battlefield, could only stare in astonishment. Their mouths hung slightly open, as if their common sense was incapable of processing what had just transpired right before their eyes.
They felt a profound sense of awe intertwined with horror at witnessing such flawless, seamless battle coordination. With utmost composure, Davin had utilized spatial magic to relocate the giant monster high into the air, dropping it and distorting its position to expose the lower chest that served as its fatal weakness. Meanwhile, Alrain had darted upward like an unstoppable arrow, attacking directly from below without being touched by a single drop of its venomous blood fluid when piercing the monster's chest.
"T-The two of them alone managed to defeat that S-rank monster?" Dennis uttered with a voice trembling in horror, cold sweat dampening his temples. His eyes stared intently at the figures of the two youths who were now standing casually. "Is this what it is like when Arvin Vedegra's spouses fight on the battlefield?"
"They're truly terrifying!" Bren chimed in. He swallowed hard, still in disbelief at the battle the two youths had just presented.
On the other hand, Arion, who had been observing from behind and realized that the situation was now completely safe, wasted no more time. He immediately took a step, jogging over to Alrain and Davin who were still standing calmly near the crater where the massive monster's carcass lay.
"Alrain! Davin!" Arion called out, his facial expression projecting sheer relief. "Are you two alright?"
Hearing the call, Alrain and Davin spontaneously turned their heads toward the reddish-yellow-haired youth approaching them.
"Yes, we are perfectly fine." Alrain answered casually, as if he had just finished a morning warm-up rather than slaughtering a lethal monster. He then pointed toward the monster carcass nearby. "Do you want to take this monster's body?"
Hearing the offer, Arion, who was now standing near the Queen Giant Wasp's body, nodded enthusiastically. His eyes looked in awe at the exoskeleton shell and giant stingers nearby, thinking about the vast amount of lethal poison and valuable materials he could process.
"May I?" he asked enthusiastically, looking back and forth between Alrain and Davin to obtain confirmation.
"I couldn't possibly hinder your intentions, Arion." Alrain replied, feeling absolutely no objection to his family member's desire. "I believe this monster will be very useful for you, whose alchemy magic has already been acknowledged by our husband."
"I don't mind either." Davin chimed in, granting Arion full, unconditional permission.
Hearing the answers provided by his two family members who had allowed him to monopolize the monster's body, a wide smile was clearly etched onto the reddish-yellow-haired youth's face.
Without the slightest hesitation, Arion immediately stored the body of the Queen Giant Wasp into his magic bag.
Seeing Arion's enthusiasm, Alrain could only offer an understanding smile. At the same time, he remembered the promise he had made to Arion a few moments ago.
"I have gathered all the monsters I defeated earlier in their nest."
In an instant, Alrain released all the Giant Wasps he had defeated from his magic bag. Dozens of monster bodies tumbled to the ground, creating a giant mound towering like a small hill.
Arion was so ecstatic that his eyes sparkled as he looked at the dozens of monster bodies Alrain had pulled out of his magic bag. His experimental materials were now abundant and ready for him to use.

He then hurried over to the pile of monster bodies that had been stacked into a small hill. As soon as he arrived, he immediately picked up and inserted all the monster bodies one by one into his magic bag with extreme meticulousness.
"You are welcome." Alrain replied softly, watching the interaction with a warm feeling. "I also promised I would bring them for you."
"Hehehe." Arion chuckled softly, feeling incredibly fortunate to receive such immense support from his family.
While observing the surrounding area, Alrain suddenly recalled the section at the end of the dark cave earlier. There, inside the holes of the cave walls, still resided a vast multitude of Giant Wasp larvae.
Moreover, the main mission given to him by his husband right now was to find and destroy any caves or anything suspicious within the forest. He felt that he could not simply ignore it.
Alrain turned his body and refocused his gaze back toward the gaping cave mouth in the distance. He intended to re-enter the cave and destroy it until it completely collapsed.
"Where are you going now?" Davin asked curiously upon noticing his family member's movement.
"I want to head to that cave again and destroy it!" Alrain answered casually as he began to step away. "Inside, there are still over 70 living larvae that will serve as the progenitors of those monsters. I must obliterate their nest permanently."
Davin and Arion exchanged glances for a moment, then allowed Alrain to do so without any intention of stopping him. They understood perfectly well because that was indeed part of the mission given by their husband. Furthermore, among the three of them, only Alrain alone possessed the type of destructive magic best suited to demolish such a sturdy cave rock structure compared to the two of them.
"Come back immediately once you are done, so we can continue our exploration to find those herbal plants!" Arion called out, reminding him from a distance.
"Yes!"
