Following Kalibak's command.
Countless Parademons in the sky and Heavy Destruction Tanks on the ground simultaneously aimed their weapons at Homelander.
"Come on!"
Instead of dodging, Homelander laughed loudly, spreading his arms and exposing his chest completely, striking a pose of someone heroically going to their death.
"Boom boom boom boom—!!!"
Beams of energy, high-explosive shells, and plasma cannons from all over the sky poured onto Homelander.
The entire sky was swallowed by blinding fire, and the deafening explosions lasted for a full minute.
Kalibak stared with a sneer at the airspace filled with billowing smoke.
"Heh, arrogant reptile, you've been blown to bits. Truly pathetic."
The smoke and dust gradually cleared.
Homelander remained in the same pose with his arms spread, floating in place.
He looked down at the skin's energy storage panel.

"Oh, the eldest son. Then I have a question..." Homelander made a look of sudden realization and then asked seriously. "So, do you Apokoliptians have no reproductive isolation from any species?"
Kalibak was stunned, not understanding the meaning of the sentence.
Homelander clicked his tongue twice, looking at him with a pitying gaze.
"I mean, how desperate was that old grey-skin Darkseid to go and have you with a baboon?"
The entire field went dead silent.
All the Apokoliptian officers lowered their heads in terror, not daring to make a sound.
Insulting Darkseid and mocking the eldest son's lineage would result in the extermination of an entire civilization elsewhere.
"But don't feel too inferior." Homelander waved his hand and comforted him earnestly.
"The Universe is large, and there are many perverts. I've seen worse than your father, really. I know an old fogey who actually had a child with an alien mantis. Isn't that ridiculous?"
"Compared to a mantis, a baboon is at least a mammal, right?"
