Sophia woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside her window. She stretched her arms and yawned, feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep. She got out of bed and began her morning routine, but as she was about to leave her room, she slipped on a banana peel that was mysteriously on the floor. She fell hard on her head and everything went black.
When Sophia came to, she was in a hospital bed. She looked around, confused, and tried to sit up. But a sharp pain shot through her head, forcing her back down. A doctor rushed in. 'Don't try to move, you've been in an accident.' 'What happened?' Sophia asked. The doctor explained that she had hit her head and suffered a concussion and temporary amnesia. Sophia panicked. 'What's the last thing you remember?' the doctor asked. Sophia thought hard but couldn't remember anything.
The doctor reassured her that her memories would return, but for now, she needed to rest. Sophia tried to relax, but she was scared. She didn't know who she was or how she got there. She felt a wave of fear wash over her. Suddenly, a man appeared in the doorway. 'Sophia, it's me, Min-woo,' he said, rushing to her side. Sophia looked up at him, confused. 'Who are you?' Min-woo's face fell. 'I'm your... friend,' he said hesitantly.
The doctor came over and whispered something in Min-woo's ear. Min-woo nodded and turned back to Sophia. 'Don't worry, I'll take care of you,' he said. But Sophia was still confused. Why was this man saying he would take care of her? She didn't even know him. As Min-woo helped her out of the hospital, Sophia couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. And then, she realized she couldn't see anything. 'I'm blind!' she exclaimed. Min-woo quickly reassured her that her sight would return once the swelling in her brain went down.
Sophia was terrified. She was blind, had no memories, and was with a stranger who claimed to be her friend. She didn't know what to do.
