Chapter 34 - A medical Uchiha cap 34

'It's worth it?'

Thinking about his past life, when many of his relatives died in a hospital and no one could do anything to save them, Natsuo realized that he could no longer stand by and watch.

'It's worth it?'

Eight months is a long time. Months in which every day I saw lives end and people live with permanent injuries that affect their daily lives.

'It's worth it?'

'It's worth it?'

'It's worth it?'

Yes, Natsuo no longer wanted to hide his ability.

At least not all of it.

Even if Hiruzen, Danzo, or Madara had him in their sights, they wouldn't react so quickly because he was just a medical ninja.

Even if he is targeted, with his current ability he could run and few could catch him.

Watching the stomach close, now complete, Natsuo moved on to the intestines.

Since the nurses had already cleaned the area and their chakra threads had ensured that no more blood came out, the area was clear for Natsuo to do his job.

And by repeating the process, little by little the wounds in the intestines began to close and the missing parts to be rebuilt.

The process was not easy and was slow, but Natsuo was patient since the multiplication of cells and the formation of certain structures was of vital importance for these organs and there could be no mistakes.

After another 20 minutes, his bowels were full again, and Natsuo stopped producing Yang chakra and took a deep breath.

"Done," Natsuo said as he stepped back and let the nurses close the body.

Acting very tired, his body was sweating and a sensor would notice that he had low chakra reserves.

With a thought, he could make one of his shadow clones disappear to recover some chakra, but it wasn't necessary.

Wiping the blood off his gloves, Natsuo went back to check that the nurses had done their job well and nodded when he saw that the patient was now stable.

"Let him rest for a few days and we will monitor his condition."

"If there are no complications, you will be able to leave the hospital in a week," Natsuo said before leaving the operating room and leaving the rest to the nurses.

They will take the patient to a room and check on his condition in the coming days.

Of course, Natsuo will also stop by to make sure everything is alright when he has time.

"I heard he's only 11 years old," said one of the nurses as she looked at Natsuo's back and let out an envious sigh.

"I wish my son could at least close a small wound, but he's only interested in learning 'cool' Ninjutsu..." said another of the nurses.

None of them knew how difficult this operation was because they were not there when the other doctors gave their diagnoses.

Shaking her head, the last nurse was grateful that her son was still at the academy or he would have been out on missions outside the village.

With the war currently taking place, it was dangerous for a young ninja to be outside the village.

While they were talking, they cleaned everything up and took the patient on his stretcher to a room where stable patients were recovering.

"Dad!"

Suddenly, the group of nurses saw a little girl scream while crying and running towards them, and behind her came a woman along with another man with a ninja headband on his forehead.

While the girl and the woman cried, the ninja had a sad face after bringing his friend's family.

Since the doctors had said that his friend had no hope, he went to tell his family to come and collect the body.

They couldn't even say goodbye because their friend was unconscious and, with his injuries, he wouldn't wake up.

"Dad!" cried the little girl when she reached her father's side.

"It's okay, honey, your dad is okay."

"He just needs to rest after the operation," said one of the nurses.

"Really?" the hopeful girl asked.

"Yes, yes," said another nurse.

"Mom, they said Dad will be okay!" the little girl shouted, turning to look at her mother.

"That's good, honey," said the mother, her eyes red and on the verge of tears.

She and the ninja beside her said nothing and believed that the nurses were lying so that the girl would not cry anymore.

"We will take the patient to a room to rest and you can stay with him there," said the senior nurse.

The three of them followed the nurses and arrived at a room where more patients were resting.

After making sure everything was in order, the nurses left to give the family privacy, and the mother and daughter waited by the bedside.

Looking at the little girl staring worriedly at her father, hoping that his friend's wife would wake up soon, holding back tears because she knew her husband would die, the ninja wondered why things had to happen this way.

"... Dear?"

!!!

Suddenly, the mother and the ninja opened their eyes when they heard the injured man's voice above the bed.

"Dad!" cried the happy little girl.

In the hospital dining room, Natsuo filled his stomach after surgery.

As he finished satisfying his hunger, Natsuo thought about the operation and felt satisfied with his skill.

Because chakra is partly made up of spiritual energy, a chakra user could 'see' what their chakra touched.

Of course, the quality of that 'sight' depended on the user's chakra control, and medical ninjas were the ones who developed this ability the most.

And not only to analyze the condition of a patient's skin and facilitate healing, but it is also a skill used in the analysis of poisons.

Everyone knew how insidious poisons are, so all medical ninjas study how to counteract them.

Operating on organs and analyzing poisons, Natsuo could also do all this after practicing for years on various mice, but he had never done it with humans.

It was only this year that he tried it for the first time and was satisfied with the results.

And when he could no longer stand by and watch so much suffering unfold before him, he proved that all his efforts over the years had been worthwhile.

The reason he was able to rebuild a severely damaged organ, a feat only the best medical ninjas could achieve, was because of his great chakra control and his ability to project in his mind what his chakra touched.

This last thing could only be achieved thanks to his great mental abilities, so Natsuo didn't waste all those hours practicing.

Just as I finished eating, everyone in the dining room heard the commotion outside in the hallways and turned around to see a large number of people entering the dining room.

To everyone's confusion, they seemed excited when they approached a young man who was finishing eating.

Seeing that they were looking for him, Natsuo sighed.

And as Natsuo expected, it caused a sensation in the hospital when news spread about the great medical ability of an 11-year-old boy.

And not only did his position within the hospital grow, but the other clans in the village also paid attention to him and he received many gifts.

When he left the hospital, many ninjas were waiting for him and presented him with gifts with big smiles while announcing the names of their clans and inviting him to eat, promising that he would be received as a distinguished guest.

Smiling, Natsuo declined, excusing himself by saying he had things to do and promising to accept the invitation another time.

Although Natsuo refused, none of the ninjas present showed anger and said goodbye without wanting to offend the child in front of them, leaving several envelopes with money.

It was to be expected that the village clans would do this to gain Natsuo's favor.

After all, Natsuo was only 11 years old and already possessed a high level of skill. Many could already imagine the level of ability Natsuo would reach in the future.

Even if there wasn't a war, only a few doctors in the village could repair organs after a certain level of damage, and nobody wanted to be on their blacklists because they would always need help from them.

But since the best medical ninjas were on the front lines supporting the ninjas fighting in the war, Natsuo was now more important to them as he was one of those still in the village.

In the months that the war has lasted, many ninjas have already died, and many of them died from severe organ damage.

They all knew that they would most likely need Natsuo's help in the future, and they wanted to be close to him and have some privileges in the future.

With several envelopes in his hands, Natsuo headed towards the Uchiha compound.

After being busy all day, I wanted to rest a little.

Unfortunately for Natsuo, Uchiha Sanjiro appeared and informed him that the clan leader wanted to see him.

Sighing, Natsuo followed the man and sighed even more when he sensed the amount of chakra signatures in the clan's shrine.
