Chapter 10 - The Plan

As soon as I saw that the green area had been destroyed and we fell one floor down, I decided that I had a different plan from Dokja's... WE WILL NOT FOLLOW THE SAME PATH. but I also don't plan to make myself their enemy.

"Dokja!" shouted Jung Heewon as she approached us.

"Did you destroy all the zones?" asked Dokja

"Yes, all of them"

Jung Heewon positioned herself next to us along with Gilyoung and Sangah, Heewon continued speaking:

"I didn't know it could be destroyed like this, we just hit the ground and it crumbled."

"Good job!" said Dokja, who seemed to be somewhat sore in the ears but didn't seem to mind too much.

Before anything else happened, I could hear someone's footsteps and it seemed to be an acquaintance, even if only for a short time. It was Lee Jihye, who came with confidence.

"Did you follow the plan?" I asked my colleague.

"Of course, it was easy," she replied with her pride held high, and not that she was narcissistic, she was strong at least for others.

I could say that she is the third strongest of those I have met so far.

"Well then, what's next?" asked Jihye, "Everyone is very mad."

As soon as Jihye said that, a wave of people could be heard coming in the direction where we were standing. "Oh, there they are."

"I guess we'll have to escape or fight," I said while looking at Dokja.

"Well, I won't help you anymore here," said Jihye as she walked away.

"We don't need it," Dokja replied.

Jung Heewon frowned as she watched Lee Jihye walk away.

"What's wrong with her?"

"she is like that, don't pay attention to it" I replied as Dokja

[Bounty Scenario – Assassination Commission]

Category: Sub

Difficulty: C

Clear Conditions: The constellations of Channel #BIR-3642 have requested to kill a certain person. Please kill 'Kim Dokja' of Chungmuro Station.

Time Limit: 10 minutes.

Compensation: 2,000 coins.

Failure: None.

It was obvious that this situation would happen since the other dokkaebis are furious.

Jung Heewon, who was on Dokja's side, asked

"Will I receive 2,000 coins if I kill Dokja-ssi right now?"

"Why?" "Are you going to kill me?" Dokja said it sarcastically.

"Yes, maybe. If you give me 200,000 coins, then I don't know."

"Dokja-ssi, stand behind me," said Hyunsung as he stepped forward.

This moment was no longer something I should participate in. so I would rather go where Jihye was.

Quickly, I used the ghostly step to sneak away and go to where Jihye was, who was on the transfer stairs.

"Oh, so you wanted to follow me, huh?" said Jihye while smiling.

"It was the best decision, anyway they will come here, right?"

"You're not funny"

Jihye had a serious face while saying it, that hurt my self-esteem a lot, for a pretty face to say that hurts too much…

[Main Scenario #3 – Emergency Defense]

Category: Main

Difficulty: B-

Clear Conditions: All the green zones in the region are destroyed and the monsters that were going to be created in the remaining days have suddenly run wild. Survive against the flood of monsters for the remaining time.

Duration: 8 hours.

Compensation: 1,000 coins.

Failure: ―

"Do you really think Dokja will keep his word?" I asked, questioning Jihye's blind trust.

"I have no other choice..." She replied while she was lost in her thoughts, but she quickly recovered, trying to pretend that nothing had happened. "Besides, does it even matter?"

It seems like she wants to follow Yoo Joonghyuk's attitude, but that's a bad idea. Everyone should be someone unique. After all, if she just follows someone else's ideals, how does she plan to build her own destiny... Although maybe I'm not the best person to tell her.

I decided not to respond, as it wasn't worth it.

I sat on one of the steps while watching Dokja and the others heading this way, glancing out of the corner of my eye at the system message that had appeared a while ago.

[The emergency defense has begun!]

"What do you think you are doing?"

"Move!"

"Do you want to die?!"

The people who had been following Dokja started to shout and argue because Dokja and the others blocked the path to escape from the monsters.

Dokja pushed away some of those who tried to follow while drawing his sword.

"I think they don't understand."

Dokja began to speak as the power of his sword radiated a brilliant blue light. Which was directed toward the stairs.

"They won't survive, even if they pass through here."

Kwarurung!

"Uwaaaaack!"

the center of the staircase had been knocked down, along with all the people who were on it.

Apparently, Dokja is somewhat cruel.

Instinctively, I turned to look at Jihye, who was somewhat annoyed, but it was something that would pass.

"Now what are we going to do!!"

People were in despair and not thinking clearly; it was almost the perfect moment for Dokja to act and do what was obvious from the beginning. Only Lee Hyunsung needs to act.

"Find the other exit quickly!" shouted one of the people.

"Yes, quickly!"

On their faces, it was clear they had some hope, but it didn't last long.

"Shit!, Waaah!"

the combined screams were heard along with the crash of something breaking.

I saw that Lee Jihye was approaching Dokja, but I decided to stop her even though she wasn't going to do anything to Dokja.

"Stop"

Upon hearing me, Jihye turned to look at me, so I got up from where I was sitting to approach her.

"Don't worry, it's part of their plan, no one will get hurt, let alone die."

Jihye seemed to calm down a bit, but she seems to be someone who gets over things quickly. Even if she hadn't been interrupted, she would have calmed down quickly.

Jihye decided to sit and watch what was happening, so I decided to sit next to her.

"You know there are more spaces over there, right?" She said while pointing with her finger to many places apart.

"I see.."

Dokja started his speech while Jihye began to insult me.

"Hey, Gong Pildu. How long are you going to stand there?"

Gong Pildu watched him from below with a very noticeable fury.

"This dog...!"

"Isn't it necessary to act in order to live? If you act, everyone else can live."

It was something basic but it would serve to give others hope in Pildu and for him to act.

"P-Pildu-ssi!"

"P-Pildu-ssi, please save us!"

"The third scenario is not as difficult as you think. Once everyone leaves the rooms and joins the defense, there are enough people to deal with the monsters."

Dokja wasn't entirely lying, but I don't think everyone could survive this scenario; there would be victims, but not as many as there were in the green zones.

"If Gong Pildu fights on the side of the people, you can survive."

[The constellations are waiting for you to do something]

[The constellation Abyssal Black Flame Dragon is getting bored that you are doing nothing]

Upon seeing more messages about starting to do something, I couldn't do anything but sigh.

Although there wasn't much silence since all of a sudden

"Dokja-ssi!"

Hyunsung's scream was heard, now in the area where Pildu and the others were.

"H-help, I can't control my movements!"

Dokja's expression was one of uncertainty; he didn't know what was happening, or rather, no one knew.

[The constellation The Great Sage, Heaven's Equal, is excited about the events]

[The constellation Demon-like Judge of Fire begins to worry about the events]

"Dokja-ssi, it's not the time to stand still."

I tried to make Dokja come to his senses again, which seemed to work as he quickly turned to look at me.

"You're right, Ayanokouji-ssi, we need to help Hyunsung-ssi."

"Any idea?"

"How about we knock him out?" said Lee Jihye with an enthusiastic tone.

"It wouldn't be bad, but I don't think we can," I replied. "His endurance must be high."

"Yoo Sangah-ssi," said Dokja, wanting Sangah to use her ability to bring him with us.

"Yes. Leave it to me."

A lasso was thrown toward where Hyunsung was, who, although he couldn't do anything on his own, had grabbed the lasso and let himself be pulled...

"Watch out!" Hyunsung shouted as he headed toward us, more specifically toward where Dokja was.

He seemed to react in time and managed to dodge a blow from Hyunsung that was aimed at him.

"Sorry, Dokja-ssi! I can't control myself, I don't know what's happening to me."

Hyunsung seemed to stretch his hand toward where Sangah was, it looked like he wanted to take her hostage, which Dokja noticed, and he was able to throw himself toward her and move her, but in truth, she was not the target, it was Gilyoung who was behind Sangah.

"Dokja-Hyung!" shouted Gilyoung, who couldn't break free from Hyunsung's grip.

Even though Hyunsung's body was moving in one way, his face was different; he was worried. He wants to take control again but can't, he doesn't want to do what he's doing.

Thank you for your patience, and I hope you liked this chapter. I'm very sorry for abandoning you all :C

I was rewriting this chapter several times because I wasn't completely satisfied with it, and that's how it went for a while.

I still don't think it's good, but this is the one I liked the most out of the previous ones I made...

Putting that aside, in the next chapters I planned to create a side story set in Japan. to start introducing some characters. Ah, what would you think?

But there aren't too many characters, just a few here and there; in that side story, I was going to focus on a lover who receives letters.
