The energy radiating from the talismans was practically tearing the void apart, and a new reality was forming from there. Those who hadn't seen the world the Third Sheikh of the Holy Blood Cult created before wouldn't understand, but the newly forming area was a piece of it.
"Even if my wife couldn't be with me while coming here, she prepared some gifts for you. Now is the time to show one of them!"
A blood-red magic circle appeared on the ground, and the energy possessing the same color overflowing from there began to gather and take shape behind Joshua. The Lands of Light forces, who brought the other three elements under their command besides the water element, couldn't do anything in the face of this newly appearing power.
The energy coming from the Other Side grew, grew, grew, and finally became magnificent enough to rival the height of the lava waves. Even those watching the battle from over the Death Pass could easily see the silhouette of Joshua's wife.
If the societies of the Companions of Light had secret trump cards, why wouldn't Joshua? The mysterious art of the talismans was opening the way to summon an energy not of this world, and it was strong enough to stop the attack the three societies made by combining.
When the two giant powers clashed, the explosion experienced was so massive that despite the shield protecting the Death Pass, those on it couldn't escape falling to the ground. Some lost their balance and fell where they were, and some glided meters down accompanied by screams.
"We are falling back! Hurry up!"
Franz shouted before the dust cloud taking the whole area captive even dispersed; he was showing the way to his comrades from the same civilization with the light scattering from his staff. On the other hand, the Hell Realm forces had also gotten their share of the shockwave; they had no choice but to watch their enemies retreat.
There was one, at worst two minutes left for the giant cannons on the Death Pass to be ready. Going on the attack now would mean throwing all the gains into the garbage, but this situation couldn't prevent one of them from taking action.
"Elephant Graveyard"
When Hueso came out of the shattered technique, he attacked the mage group closest to him; what a coincidence that his target was the Companions of the Earth forces. Even though the use of the Guardian Angel Will Remnant bestowed a great power, it seemed to leave some aftereffects behind. Solo and his subordinates, who mobilized all their power to ensure Ignis's attack reached its target, were giving weak responses against the technique taking over the area they were in.
Elephant Graveyard was a technique where bones, dimensions the size of two or even three humans, surfaced in the most complex way possible to restrict the movement of the targets it trapped inside. Even though less than the fingers of two hands number of mages were injured, no one died; if Hueso wanted to complete the job he started, he had to take action.
"We will see you later, fossil!"
The Companions of Light were at the very front; behind them were the Companions of the Wind, also with the effect of their elemental energies. The Companions of Water and Fire were retreating almost in the same line, but it was impossible for the Companions of the Earth mages, trying to clear their way with the limited Earth Energy left in their hands, to catch up to them.
They possessed neither the equipment like the Mercenaries nor the combat proficiency of transferring elemental energy onto their weapons like the people of the Hell Realm. They were making attacks by standing inside their magic circles, then trying to advance. They might have fallen behind due to the inefficient method, but as of now, this was of no importance.
"As long as we are inside the safe distance, he will have to fall back to avoid the shots that will start shortly. Even if he found the way to live without flesh and blood, if he is subjected to one shot of the giant energy weapons, those filthy gray bones will turn to dust!"
Solo wasn't wrong; the shockwave had shattered all the energy weapons belonging to the Hell Realm, even the twenty-thousand-strong army protected by the shield was in a miserable state. Joshua played a key role in transferring the power coming from the other side; even calculating the burden left by the massive energy passing through him was impossible.
Muslo, Alis, and the druid warriors had also gotten their share; the Lands of Light side was running away, this was the easy part, but going after them and attacking, and doing this while the threat of the Death Pass cannons continued, was equivalent to suicide. Even Hueso stayed put after making his move against the enemy trapping him; even if the mages advancing by shattering his technique were almost about to escape, he didn't take action.
"Just wait; after demanding more mages from our societies, we will wipe you off the face of the earth!"
Seconds before the Energy Cannons were fired, Solo, bypassing the last bone barricade, began to say daring words. When his subordinates came next to him too, they would take a step and exit the Elephant Graveyard, but a shadow passed by Hueso moving backwards, and stretching his two hands forward, shouted.
"Clas Myrddin"
Two magic circles, one green and the other blue, shot out from his palms and set a seal on the area the Companions of the Earth were located. First, a water pillar rose from the blue circle, and right after, the wind of the green circle ensured it extended all the way to the clouds in the sky.
Solo and his subordinates began casting spells to protect themselves, but they had expended so much effort until that moment that some of them shattered into pieces before succeeding. Due to the Guardian Angel Will Remnant that allowed them to gather all the earth element on the battlefield, they couldn't find the energy needed for magic now.
Unlike them, the power of the magic of the person making the attack was increasing moment by moment; while the Wind and Water elements were almost non-existent in the environment, where could he find this power?
"Help! Save us!"
Solo was shouting without being able to take his eyes off his subordinates falling every second; he wanted the mages in the societies who managed to escape to do something for him, for his men, but his cry was going to remain unanswered. Firstly, there wasn't enough elemental energy density to achieve this; they had spent it all using force, and secondly, difficult situations allowed some bad intentions inside people to surface more easily.
When the Death Pass began firing the energy cannons, the mysterious person who made the last attack fell back; otherwise, it was certain he wouldn't survive the intense bombardment, just like the Companions of the Earth mages.
The Hell Realm forces became a whole again, and when the person who dealt a heavy blow to their enemies with the last attack came next to them too, taking a defensive stance, they continued to watch the Lands of Light mages entering through the small door of the Death Pass.
"Alator!"
"Leader, is that you?"
They knew one person who would make an attack using both Wind and Water Magic at the same time; the members of the Elemental Ten began to shout before the person approaching them step by step lifted his hood. Their guess was correct; the person opposite them was the druid warrior who caused them to come to the war by taking the name Elemental Ten.
Even though they managed to be cold-blooded enough to fight to take the lives of their enemies just a moment ago, ultimately the naive druid inside them was still alive. They couldn't hold back their tears; falling to their knees, they began to cry uncontrollably. Even if most of the onlookers found this scene odd, they had actually shown too little reaction; the Elemental Ten members were showing their reactions this intensely both because they were glad their leader was alive and because they couldn't cry when they thought he died.
Unlike them, Alator was calm; while wandering among his subordinates, he stroked their hair or tried to calm them down by squeezing their shoulders. In these moments, the gazes of many people around them were on the magic circles glowing in his palms; the remnants of the water element in one and the wind element in the other stood out, and those seeing a magic circle on a person's body for the first time had already started whispering among themselves.
When the silence formed when the shots of the giant energy cannons of the Death Pass ended failed to hide the conversations, attacks started from the Hell Realm front. It was obvious they wouldn't be able to tear down the enemy's defense like this, but they were obliged to do this to start the defense from the end of their energy shields.
"Valiant warriors of the Hell Realm, you may rebuild the Camp!"
