The wind element beginning to swirl around the green crystals at the tips of the staffs of Ventus and her subordinates was dense enough to be seen with the naked eye. They were practically flowing from the entire battlefield towards the members of the Companions of the Wind; the impression they gave when they all gathered together resembled a river.
At the same moments, the magic circles of the druid warriors supporting the Holy Bone Cult Leader and his grandson began to fade. The Wind Elements they gathered were leaving them; the Companions of the Wind were stripping them of their right to cast magic.
"The time for defense is over, now is the time to break some bones!"
A giant vortex formed above Ventus's head; her subordinates were transferring the green winds in their staffs there. Following the change, Hueso ceased attacking; taking his grandson Muslo behind him, he was falling back.
"Don't run, you wouldn't succeed even if you wanted to!"
The storm clouds, resembling a monster opening its mouth and showing its sharp teeth, separated from the vortex above Ventus and headed towards the Holy Bone Cult Leader. The vortex with a diameter of fifty steps shrank by half at that moment; apparently, the green-haired girl, the Leader of the Companions of the Wind Society Forces, wanted to kill her enemy in a single blow.
"Muslo, fall back to our King's side!"
"Grandpa, you…"
Before Alis's wife could finish her words, she was grabbed by the collar by Hueso and hurled all the way to Joshua's Blood Dome. The person who was one of the oldest warriors of the Hell Realm was all alone inside the storm surrounding him.
While hundreds of thousands of sharp blades swirled around him, his silhouette, visible in the first moments, slowly faded away too. The storm was rapidly shrinking every second; at this rate, it would disappear before half a minute passed, but its violence was increasing parallel to this too.
The Wind Energy, growing more furious as it compressed, was increasing its spin speed; it was taking the enemy down with it while destroying itself, or at least that's what was supposed to happen. Expecting a contrary result could be considered delusional; no one could stay alive inside such destruction, but what would the result be if you weren't alive anyway?
When the green color faded, gray revealed itself with all its filthiness. Whether it was trying to be white or its aim was to get rid of the heaviness of black is unknown, but gray bones were the only thing left from the storm.
"Brat, even your first ancestor wouldn't dare speak to me like this. I need to teach you kids walking around with the smell of milk on your breath some manners!"
Hueso raised the sword in his right hand into the air; he had no blood, no flesh, no skin either. His sword, his armor, and his entire body consisted solely of gray bones. The ultimate technique ensuring the Holy Bone Cult Leader lived long enough to the degree of immortality had been revealed.
The fossil, who retreated underground and waited until the Hell Realm regained strength, abandoned the young and beautiful body he obtained thanks to the massacres lasting five years. He was going to fight in his state symbolizing the days full of pain, suffering, and agony.
"Ventus, preserve the power of the Will Remnant!"
"Are you an idiot? Why did you use half of all your power for a single person!"
"Watch out, he is right next to you!"
Hueso, disappearing from sight all of a sudden, appeared next to the Companions of the Wind mages when he was seen again, but they hadn't yet understood what happened. The reactions coming from the leaders of the other societies had stunned the green-haired girl; her inability to destroy a single person using a massive power had a great effect on this too.
The Companions of the Wind mages, giving up their defensive stance and going on the attack with the power given by the Guardian Angel Will Remnant, attacked using the energy in their staffs when they saw Hueso possessing a body of gray bones next to them.
The ancient member of the Hell Realm disappeared again; when he appeared on the other side, he emerged above the new attacks, but the Holy Bone Cult Leader was evading all of them as if they were nothing. There was neither order nor a plan among his enemies, and while everyone attacked where they saw fit, Hueso, thinking his turn had come, incapacitated five mages with the bone protrusions shooting out of his fingertips.
The man, getting rid of all his excess, accelerated so much that when he killed ten mages, the others hadn't even realized the people next to them stopped breathing. The Companions of the Wind, who had already lost a large part of their roster in the first attack, were on the brink of ruin; ten mages were left along with Ventus, and Hueso was going to take them out of action in seconds too.
"Labyrinth of Despair, Rise!"
When Ventus took two steps back to escape from her enemy appearing right in front of her eyes, the walls rising from the ground saved her. Solo, using the power of the Holy Angel Will Remnant belonging to his society, managed to create a covered structure where the green-haired woman was.
While the leader of the Companions of the Wind forces fled, the walls opened, showing her the way, but when Hueso wanted to go after her, this became impossible. Even if the bone man wanted to advance underground, he wouldn't be successful; the technique named Labyrinth of Despair managed to trap him.
"We used two Holy Angel Will Remnants for a single person, and they lost almost half their powers too. Pull yourselves together, we are missing the chance to establish superiority over the enemy!"
Ignis had played his trump card too and was in the position of the sole master of the Fire Element on the battlefield, just like Solo monopolizing the Earth Element. There was no source the druid warriors could use to cast their spells; retreating all the way behind Joshua, they were watching what unfolded along with Muslo.
Opposite them were a storm with a diameter of twenty-five steps, a wide mountain twenty-five steps long, and the Companions of Fire mages who formed their magic circles inside a lava lake. Nympha and her subordinates had gathered their strength too; even though her druids using the water element regained their abilities to cast magic, the power difference between them was incomparable.
"I will take the attack priority. Our target is the Hell King; just stall those who step in my way!"
In the half-hour time they needed to flee to the Death Pass, the Lands of Light forces, especially the Companions of Fire, decided to make one last attempt. They were the strongest both in terms of the number of mages and as a Guardian Angel Will Remnant; if not now, when would they attack?
"Siomha, can you keep the Companions of Light occupied for a while?"
When Joshua received a 'yes' answer from the Leader of the Elemental Ten, he concentrated the attacks of the energy weapons on the Companions of Water. They were the only ones who couldn't use a Guardian Angel Will Remnant; they would have to take a defensive stance.
While the darkness tried to cover the light, the bright red color of the lava was advancing towards the Hell Realm forces. The waves suddenly appearing in the windless air were sliding over the soil as they advanced, and the druid warriors wouldn't be able to stop this attack by shattering the ground as they did before.
Muslo wanted to step forward and take on this duty; he aimed to shatter the ground instead of a bone wall, but Solo had no intention of allowing this. His technique stabilized the ground for the advance of the lava covering almost the entire battlefield, and as if this wasn't enough, Ventus was using her remaining power to increase its speed.
The Hell Realm forces, who seized superiority earlier in the day thanks to each of them marching to a different tune, were now facing the combined attack of the three societies. Even though Ignis snapped at Ventus, it was obvious he wasn't taking it slow either. Ten minutes before the large cannons of the Death Pass were fired, he was using all the power he gained thanks to the Guardian Angel Will Remnant.
Alis came next to his wife, the druid warriors were also next to Joshua. While cries rose from the twenty-thousand-strong Hell Realm army for the order to join the battle to come, their King wasn't taking his cold gazes off the enemy's ultimate attack.
"Alis and Muslo, help Siomha to restrain the Companions of Light mages. Druid warriors, return to the Hell Army's side!"
When the Hell Realm King, speaking with an expression as cold as ice in defiance of the lava advancing by burning even the air, turned and looked at his subordinates who paused for a few seconds to question his decision, those receiving the order didn't dare wait any longer.
The young man inside his Blood-Red armor slowly dropped the yellow talisman papers appearing in his hand to the ground. Their stances weren't random; a breath later, the writings on the yellow papers mixed into the soil and began to form a shape.
