Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Encountering the planet's indigenous gods

After everyone became "Superman," the progress of the spaceship's modification significantly increased.

The workload that would have originally taken at least several months was completed in less than three days, and the modification results were several times better than estimated.

The main contributor to this was naturally Leto, the intelligent Kryptonian.

After all, Zod and the others were basically born for combat; even if they activated the Super Brain talent, it mostly just allowed them to think more during battle.

In terms of scientific research ability, he still couldn't compare to Leto, a true scientist.

During these three days, Zod remained in the cultivation chamber. After activating his talent, he prepared to attempt formal Cultivation.

However, when he once again sensed his Wheel of Life, he was surprised to find that many of the markings on his Wheel of Life had disappeared.

It seems that activating one's talent is not merely about gaining power; one's vitality has also undergone a qualitative change. In layman's terms, it's equivalent to returning to youth, though not as exaggerated.

Moreover, within the originally calm Wheel of Life, a special power was surging.

Seeing this phenomenon, Zod didn't hesitate too much and immediately activated the Cultivation method of the True Sun Scripture to charge into the Sea of Suffering.

It seemed that due to the different world he was in, the suppression of cultivators by the Heaven and Earth rules was also different; Zod barely felt any restrictions.

Although Fiora and the others occasionally paid attention to Zod, seeing him sitting cross-legged, they didn't dare to approach and disturb him, only silently guarding him from outside.

The solar essence produced daily by the sunflower was absorbed by Zod. Finally, on the fourth day, Zod's body suddenly burst into brilliant light, and sounds like surging waves echoed from within him.

And within Zod's Sea of Suffering, Divine Radiance shone brightly, red light filled the sky, and the intensely blazing Yang Qi seemed to ignite his entire Sea of Suffering.

This huge commotion immediately worried Fiora and the others waiting outside, but they could all hear Zod's strong heartbeat, which didn't sound like he was in danger.

Therefore, they just watched quietly from a distance, without making a sound or any movement to interrupt him.

Another half a day passed like this. The light on Zod's body began to dissipate, and the sounds from within him gradually subsided.

His inner Sea of Suffering was now stable at three feet in size, faintly emitting a golden-red light.

Zod didn't know if his Kryptonian Bloodline counted as a special Physique, but for him, as long as he could Cultivate, it was enough!

When he opened his eyes, his originally slightly cloudy pupils had now become incredibly clear, with a faint Divine Light flashing within them, and his entire being exuded an indescribable temperament.

Fiora stepped forward and asked, "General, are you alright? What just happened?"

"Nothing, just delving deeper into our talents. Is the spaceship modified?"

Zod didn't want to elaborate on that question at the moment and casually asked in return.

Fiora immediately skipped that question and respectfully replied, "It has been modified, and we have successfully found our next target. I believe we can further upgrade the spaceship there, and then we should be able to perform long-distance jumps!"

"In that case, prepare to depart!"

With that, Zod reached out and pulled up the container holding the sunflower, then turned and strode out.

Everyone followed closely, and the abandoned spaceship instantly fell into boundless silence once more.

As Zod's spaceship departed, this desolate planet once again returned to a state of dead silence.

In the time that followed, Zod was not in a hurry to use the solar essence produced by the sunflower for Cultivation, but instead prepared to Cultivate new sunflowers.

Because the efficiency of a single sunflower producing solar essence was too low, it couldn't even keep up with his own consumption rate, let alone that of others.

After all, for Kryptonians, activating their talents was just the beginning. If they didn't absorb solar radiation for a long time, they would gradually lose their power until they reverted to ordinary people.

Therefore, for long-term considerations, Zod could only slow down his Cultivation speed first and wait until the number of sunflowers increased.

The spaceship continued to travel through the vast and boundless starry sky. Now, Zod no longer felt the same shock as when he first saw it.

The modified spaceship had significantly increased its flight speed. This time, they only spent half a month to reach their new destination.

This planet seemed to be undergoing a period similar to the Cambrian Explosion. Heavy snow continuously fell from the sky, and everything as far as the eye could see was covered by thick ice and snow.

Under such extreme weather, ordinary life would find it difficult to survive. Therefore, Zod and the others all believed that this planet, like the previous one, would not have any living beings.

They very smoothly located the position of the colonial spaceship, which was inside a mountain, but now it was all covered by ice and snow.

If they had encountered such a situation before, they would have probably needed to expend some effort to enter the spaceship.

However, now everyone had already Awakened Superman-like abilities, making it much easier to handle.

Without even Zod or Fiora needing to act, Apollo Atlas, the largest member of the team, took the lead.

He took a deep breath, then exhaled sharply, instantly stirring up a strong wind that blew away all the accumulated snow covering the mountain surface.

The Kryptonian's frozen breath, or perhaps more accurately, Super Breath, because the root of this ability lies in the Kryptonian possessing a super iron lung.

Beneath the accumulated snow was a thick layer of ice, but it was still a minor problem. Red light gleamed in Apollo's eyes, followed by the eruption of crimson heat vision, which quickly melted the outer layer of ice.

However, just as they were about to enter the spaceship, an earth-shattering roar suddenly echoed through the sky.

The next moment, a white giant python, several hundred meters long, materialized from the wind and snow. Without any warning, it flicked its tail, heavily smashing towards Apollo.

Facing this situation, Apollo, who had just gained his power, did not dodge, preparing to test his current strength.

He immediately flew forward, preparing to withstand the blow from the thick snake tail head-on.

"Bang!"

Without any surprise, Apollo's body was violently slammed to the ground like a cannonball, causing the surroundings to tremble.

Zod didn't pay too much attention. This level of power wouldn't be enough to kill Apollo, who had already gained a body of steel, but he was probably stunned.

After all, he had absorbed too little solar essence, and his abilities had not reached their full potential.

After knocking down Apollo, the giant python did not move again, and Zod stopped Fiora, who was about to attack.

Because he saw a strong, human-like brilliance in the giant python's huge vertical pupils. He understood that it was a highly intelligent being, and it possessed a special power.

And the source of that power seemed to be the planet beneath their feet.

"Who are you, and why have you trespassed into my Divine Realm?"

At this moment, a majestic voice resounded in Zod's and their minds. It was the giant python directly transmitting its thoughts to their minds through Mental Energy.

"Is it a being similar to a God born on this planet?"

Now, hearing the giant python's words, Zod felt that his guess should not be wrong. This giant python should be the indigenous God born on this planet.
