Ryan set the last set of glass down, the polished surface sparkling, and gestured to the menu board behind him. "So, since you're clearly here for more than just conversations, what can I get you? Also since it's your first time here, it's on the house."
"On the house? Now I'm definitely glad I stayed back cause who doesn't want freebies," Liam chuckled, his clear grey eyes brightening with interest. "An iced triple blonde latte, then. I might as well just get some energy."
"Alright," he chirped, moving with the ease of a pro. "Why don't you grab a seat at the corner? The one by the window. I'll bring it over when it's ready."
Liam nodded and wandered over to it, sliding into the seat as Ryan worked quickly and precisely, making the drink. Once it was finished, he carried the cup over in a tray, adding a small plate of strawberry muffins.
"On the house too... as a complement," he offered, and instead of going back to the bar, he pulled the chair across Liam and sat down.
