PSI stood speechless. Not literally; he was still mumbling in his head. So many situations at once — it was just enough for him to see the entrance of the twelve divine goblins and the king aura farming right in front of him.
Not to mention, he had just realized that there was another one stronger than the goblin he faced. Apparently, he was the leader of those goblins.
Now that all this was happening, and he still had to kill all the goblins too. But it was kinda super uncomfortable when a ghost shouted at him in such a stressful situation, saying…
"What the hell are you doing in my body?"
Overall, it wasn't half bad, since the actual episode would begin when the original owner of the body appeared. It seemed like Pathless was just transmigrated into someone's life to change it, either for the better or for the worst.
That all depended on the system and the original body owner's will. Which seemed very doubtful at first sight, but believable when it actually went down to one request and all the things that happened would end.
This was the sudden system that was prepared for him by the divine system he copied from the Guidanceer at the entrance.
[MEET THE OWNER WITH RESPECT.]
PSI saw a system standing right in front of him, telling him to meet the owner with respect. Expectedly, he turned around to see the ghost that looked exactly like the body he was in when he had just arrived.
The body's looks had changed, and it definitely got stronger with pretty satisfying looks when it came to fitness.
As a human, he would have actually died out of lack of energy. Since he would die so skinny… That was the case, but for some reason, there was still something repairing every tissue, every body part of his — plus, not even once did he feel like he had to eat.
And to be honest, he even got so high up since he was originally so skinny. Pathless wasn't bothered by that fact. Instead, he was thinking ahead about how to end this whole damn thing.
The ghost was so worried it kept moving around, thinking a lot, holding its hair, and said, "Please help me return to my body. I wanna know what is going on. There is a war that's coming — a war, and not just any war. It's a world war. The unexpected yet undeniable war… the 25th World War."
PSI seemed to be so curious, so he raised an eyebrow and asked politely, "Fear not. We will talk about that later. I am PSI, and I came here to make your dreams come true — not through magic, not through miracles nor divine ways. It's through living your life and showing you the potential you have. Just lean on me and watch me change your life. Once I'm done, I will leave this body to you, and our connection will be severed, and I will travel. So listen, please tell me your dreams."
The owner smiled, placing his hand on his forehead. "Wow… like wow. I mean, you already took my body, why can't I believe you? But what kind of wish can I wish… Well yeah, something I can achieve by working hard is the only dream I can tell you — not through luck or fate. I'm so grateful, thank heavens. But let's get to the point. First up, my name is Eugene. Nice to meet you. I'm the body's original owner, and my dream is… honestly, I don't know what I want you to achieve for me. But I would say survive this, and either let us, the human territory, win the war or save us. Please use my body in any way possible. I allow you…"
PSI seemed a bit pale seeing how Eugene, the original body owner, was sacrificing his body — which was his life, his pride, and his identity — literally his everything, for the sake of saving humanity. It made him feel like shit.
But no matter what he did, once it was the wish, everything changed. The system already named the {Wish Episodes}.
[Wish Episode 1]
[Main Goal: Win the war]
Survive the island
Kill the Goblin King

[Penalty: You will be reincarnated as an animal.]
PSI read the screen and was shocked — even more than when he saw the whole otherworldly entrance and aura farming…
"Penalty!!! Reincarnated!!! Animal!!! That's not good, not good, not good…"
Eugene cleared his throat in his soul state and coughed to grab PSI's attention. Pathless noticed and immediately responded with, "Okay then. Time to kill some damn goblins."
PSI gazed at the goblins — all of them, which were too much to bear for his incompetent eyes. But he still thought, 'I have been fighting again and again with no second spot for breathing — ten times without any movement at all, just breathing… There is no way I will chicken out just because I saw their power. It doesn't matter. I must do it. I have somehow become stronger. At least I'm more agile, and I have strength and some insane speed. I don't think this is all humanly possible, but I think this body is a bit weird. Anyway, time to focus on the episode. The main goal is to win the war. The others are sidekicks, but they will help a lot in making this episode so epic.'
PSI shifted his head to his right and made strong eye contact with Eugene and asked him, "Tell me — I definitely know you can't use magic or whatever… but is there something you can use?"
Eugene, with slight annoyance, extended his arm, focused his gaze, and aimed at a stone in front of them.
Eugene said, "Focus your gaze at something and relax your palm slowly."
PSI extended his arm toward the same stone and relaxed his palm. He gazed at the stone harshly.
Right after that, Eugene said, "With all your strength, clench your fist." He showed him by doing it. When he did it, it seemed like he was punching zero air with the same level of focus — or even higher — and with hard-gripped strength.
PSI copied it perfectly. As soon as he clenched it, the stone disappeared.
When PSI saw what he was actually doing, he smiled and said, "I got a very good idea. We might actually win so easily — and faster than I think."
PSI walked with dignity, with purpose, power, and an unbreakable will toward the beach. Eventually, he saw the three-tined divine goblin — Goblin of Fighting. He was the ruler of the normal goblins.
The usual darker green goblins were brainless and more like animals, but a bit cunning. So they weren't assigned as divine.
Sadly, the king had already promised the three-tine that he would make him divine alongside his subordinates if he defeated PSI.
The goblin walked toward him with a fair amount of aura and insane physique. While walking, the silver goblin's leader, who looked too chill about it with so many accessories on his body, spoke.
"Yooo… worthless goblin and trashy human… Who wants a better weapon? I will make you weapons. Please use it carefully and return it in one piece. Jerk-ass beings."
As soon as that happened, a long, thin, beautifully crafted axe-spear dropped on the ground. PSI grabbed it while it was dropping in front of him.
But the goblin near him punched it away.
PSI sighed, looked at the goblin, and said,
"You sure are brainless!!!"
[Sys: You died.]
