Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: Raeven The Rescuer

News about the destruction of the Oykot Kingdom from East Blue began to spread, and the kingdoms near it began to fear for their lives, but when the World Economic Journal released their news, the truth about the accident became clear.

Oykot Kingdom was destroyed by pirates who hunt people to sell them as slaves. Morgans even pointed out in the article that the Marines on Loguetown are not doing their job well. Luckily, the distress call of Lieutenant Bellmere was heard by the warlords nearby; without them, the whole island and even the Marines might not have survived. Then a picture of Raeven, Mihawk, and Enel leaving the island is posted in the newspaper.

When Sengoku saw this, he called the marine branch at Lougetown and quickly demoted the officers there. Then he picked a trusted and strong marine captain from Marineford and made him the branch commander of East Blue.

Even Garp is angry when he hears this news; being defeated by pirates is okay, but doing a half-assed job and letting pirates from the paradise get in while passing their own gate is not acceptable.

Once again the prestige and approval of the Warlords became high again; after all, the Dracule Family is not a pirate group. They are known for attacking marine branches and challenging dojos around the world, but they don't have a single crime involving citizens.

Hearing positive approval of the seven warlords of the sea, the five elders are quite pleased; only the Marines are bitter about it, especially Vice Admiral Sakazuki, who goes by the codename Akainu.

"Hmmmp! The Marines who won't do their job the right way must be executed; bringing the prestige of the Marines down like this is a crime itself," he said.

Borsalino and Kuzan, the youngest vice admiral of the marines to be promoted, just said "arara," while Borsalino didn't say anything at all.

July 3, 1505

Months quickly passed by after that incident, and right now it's already 1505. As usual, Raeven is still farming; all of his trainees graduated a little while ago, and he is just waiting for the other batch to arrive.

Nothing is more beautiful and fulfilling than a slow life in the Sixis Island; that's what he thought until his white Den Den Mushi rang. When he answered it, Shakky's panicked voice rang out.

"Raeven-kun, I need your help. The ship that is carrying the teens of our island is currently under attack at Paradise near the area of Water Seven. I already called Mihawk and Tritoma, and they are currently rushing there too," Shakky said.

"Don't worry. As for Mihawk, tell him that I got the situation. Have Tritoma head straight here at Sixis Island," Raeven said, and he ended the call, and he called Enel. The small boat shot out of the island like a missile, their destination Paradise Water Seven.

While Tritoma is currently rushing her way to Water Seven with her crew, she received a call from Shakky.

"I already called Raeven-chan; he said that he'll take care of it. What's the status about the recruits?" Shakky asked, inside her shop in Sabaody Archipelago. Rayleigh stood at her side.

"We recently received a report from them saying that they are still resisting the attack; the enemy is having a hard time with them. Fortunately, I assigned 3 Kuja Pirates to escort the trainees to Sixis Island," Tritoma said.

"Call me if something happens; some of my guys are at St. Poplar. They are now heading towards Water Seven now," Shakky said, and then the call ended.

Raeven and Enel, on the other hand, just got out of the Calm Belt; with Enel's devil fruit power, passing the Calm Belt is easy.

Raeven stood up, and he looked at the island near them; if his memory is right, this island is where Rommel Kingdom is.

"I will head over first, place the ship here, and follow me," Raeven said as he moonwalked with a sonic boom; he was gone.

A few minutes later he is in the sky of Banaro Island; as he flies in the sky, he keeps his Observation Haki spread out, and then he finally sees a mid-sized single-masted ship that has a flag of the Kuja pirates surrounded by three massive ships with black flags.

On the Kuja Pirates' mid-sized ship, the 3 Kuja pirates are currently injured by the prolonged fight; defending the kids while stopping the attackers took a huge toll on them. One of them has a cut on her stomach.

"Sisters, we must not fall here," one of the Kuja pirates said as she brandished her sword; the badge of a reaper could be seen on her shoulder epaulettes.

"Kikikikiki, women from Amazon Lily are very rare specimens; the Celestial Dragons will pay a high price for you guys, especially you Kuja pirates, kikikiki," a man wearing black circle sunglasses said while rubbing his hands together.

"Knock them all out, and be sure not to wound them too much, or else their value will drop," he said to his men, then he saw a dot from the horizon getting bigger and bigger.

"Enemy attack!" One of the slave traders said, but his words were too slow; their ship couldn't jump and dodge. A massive black flying slash sliced one of the slaver ships. The shout of the pirates inside the ship woke up everyone from being shocked. The slave traders are familiar with that kind of flying slash, but the ones they know are emerald in color, and they're smaller than that one.

When the Kuja pirates saw that, they became excited; they quickly stood straight while waiting for someone to arrive. This surprised the slavers and the teenage girls on the ship. Then a man wearing a black short and checkered green long sleeves landed on the ship, making it rock a little. He is wearing a straw hat on his head that you can see on every farmer, but when the slavers saw him, they began to sweat.

"You three did a good job holding this long. Apply first aid to her wounds. As for these slavers, they won't survive here," Raeven said.

"Yes, Instructor," the three Kuja pirates said, and they quickly moved towards the cabin of the ship together with the trainees, and they began to treat the wound on their comrade.

"How did you appear here? The reports said that you and your family are staying at Sixis Island in East Blue," said the man wearing eyeglasses.

"You have guts targeting our ally. As for your question, I won't answer it; you'll die soon. Knowing how I appeared here won't save you," Raeven said as he took out Silence, which began to hum like it was excited.

"It's been a while since I used my weapon; be proud, at least you can brag about something when you reach hell," Raeven said, and those were the last words the slave traders heard. What followed were screams and cries; in just 3 minutes, a total of 76 slavers died. Their whole crew was wiped out.

Then Enel arrived; as he looked around and saw Raeven sitting on the railing of the Kuja Ship, he landed beside him as he took out a handkerchief to wipe his sweat.

"I'm sorry, big brother, I arrived late; your speed is too fast," he said, which Raeven just laughed off. With his current speed, if he wants to escape, no one can stop him; the same applies if he wants to chase someone—no one will be able to escape him with his speed.

"Don't mind it; I forced you too hard while we headed here. The fight is done, but I still need your help on freeing the kidnapped girls in these two ships," Raeven said, to which Enel just nodded.

He headed towards the ship where the trainees are currently helping the kidnapped girls; with his power, he formed a key to open their cuffs.

After everyone was freed, Raeven sailed the ship towards the area of the Sabaody Archipelago. He had already called Shakky and Tritoma and said that he arrived in time. When they heard this, they were shocked. Now they know why when Mihawk heard that Raeven was going there himself, he said that he'll just wait for good news.

"His speed is too much." That's all Rayleigh can say.

After 2 days of sailing, they finally arrived at the Sabaody Archipelago. When the pirates and slave traders there saw that Raeven was the one sailing the slave trader ship, they were shocked, and then news about the fall of the biggest slave trader group on the Sabaody Archipelago began to spread around.

Raeven and the others docked the ship at Grove 13's special port; not anyone can park their boat here. Only ships with Shakky's approval can go and dock here.

As everyone began to step onto the small island, everyone began to breathe out; they were finally safe. Stepping on solid ground was very nice.

Tritoma immediately hugged the teens who survived a great disaster; she immediately apologized to them, but the girls said that it was their weakness that dragged the group down.

The other kidnapped girls are assigned to Shakky; if they want to return to their islands, they have to earn money first. As for the trainees, Tritoma will personally escort them to the Sixis Island. Raeven and Enel naturally boarded their ship too.

Here Raeven saw something that surprised him: it's the 3 girls with different hair colors; one is green, another is orange, and the third is a very cute-looking girl with black hair.
