Chapter 2 - 'WHAT WAS LEFT'{2}

šŸŒ«ļø Scene 1: Two Months Later

Two months pass.

The world does not heal.

It adapts.

Cities rebuild walls instead of homes. Governments deny what cannot be denied. Creatures roam farther each night. And the survivors of the fire… are no longer together.

They are scattered.

Broken into fragments.

šŸŒ‘ Scene 2: The Rift Opens – Nefima Arrives

The air splits open above a dead field.

A rift tears through the sky like rotting fabric, spilling black mist and cold whispers.

A woman steps through.

Nefima.

Her body is pale, stitched with glowing runes. Her staff hums with necrotic energy. Bones shift beneath her skin, restless, eager.

She inhales slowly.

Nefima – Two thousand years… and the soil still remembers me.

The rift snaps shut behind her.

The grass beneath her feet withers instantly.

She smiles.

Nefima – Let's see how close I am to godhood this time.

šŸš— Scene 3: The Road Away From Area 51

A battered car speeds down a desert highway.

Inside sit Frankenstein and Zadkiel, silent, tense, haunted by what they escaped.

The radio crackles with emergency broadcasts before dying completely.

Frankenstein – We shouldn't have survived that.

Zadkiel doesn't answer.

Something slams into the windshield.

The glass spiderwebs.

Zadkiel slams the brakes.

The car skids sideways.

A creature crawls across the hood—too many joints, too many teeth, eyes reflecting headlights like mirrors.

Frankenstein grabs the door.

Frankenstein – Don't move.

The creature SCREAMS and vanishes into the dark.

Zadkiel exhales shakily.

Zadkiel – Area 51 didn't just release monsters.

He looks down the empty road.

Zadkiel – It released a migration.

🐺 Scene 4: Peter's Training

Deep in the forest, Peter drops to all fours.

Bones crack.

Fur erupts from his skin.

He becomes a werecoyote, lean and fast, eyes sharp with instinct.

Roxy watches, nervous but determined.

Roxy – Again.

Peter charges.

he dodges late, stumbling into the dirt.

He stops inches from her throat.

Peter – You hesitate, you die.

A growl echoes nearby.

Both freeze.

A cougar steps from the brush, muscles coiled, eyes locked on them.

The cougar bolts.

Peter grins.

Peter – Lesson two.

They chase.

āš–ļø Scene 5: Ashton's Judgment

White.

Blinding.

Ashton stands alone in a vast chamber of light.

Before him sits a Judge, faceless, immense, unmoving.

Judge – Your life is weighed.

Images flash: cruelty, bullying, pain inflicted… then fire, sacrifice, surrender.

The Judge pauses.

Judge – You are not evil.

Hope flickers in Ashton's eyes.

Judge – Nor are you righteous.

The floor opens beneath him.

Judge – Purgatory.

Ashton falls screaming.

šŸ•³ļø Scene 6: Purgatory

Dark soil.

Black stone.

Endless labor.

Souls drag boulders through black water that burns like acid. Screams echo without end.

Ashton crashes into the mud.

He tries to stand.

Fails.

Ashton – No… please… I changed…

A whip cracks nearby.

He is forced to lift a stone heavier than his body.

When he collapses, the pain resets.

When he dies, he wakes again.

Ashton screams.

And the realm answers with silence.

šŸ”„ Scene 7: Hostage

A dim room.

Kevin is tied to a chair, bleeding.

A figure steps from the shadows.

Alastor.

He grips Kevin's jaw hard.

Alastor – Tell me where Dreadmoore is.

Kevin spits blood.

Alastor smiles.

Alastor – I can do this forever.

The door slams shut.

šŸ•Æļø Scene 8: Mourning the Dead

Lucifer stands motionless.

Shatterhowl paces like a caged beast.

Dreadmoore kneels, fists clenched, eyes hollow.

Dreadmoore – It should have been me.

Silence answers him.

Dreadmoore – I sent him there.

Lucifer finally speaks.

Lucifer – Death doesn't choose fairly.

Dreadmoore stands.

Dreadmoore – Then I'll make it regret choosing him.

šŸ¦‡ Scene 9: The Hunt Begins

Night.

A ruined city.

Dracula walks calmly beside Korrin, both sensing something foul beneath the streets.

Korrin – The hive is close.

Dracula's eyes glow crimson.

Dracula – Good.

They descend into the sewers.

Far below, something watches.

Something many.

🌌 Closing Narration

Narrator – Two months have passed.

Survivors scatter. Monsters migrate.

Nefima steps onto mortal soil.

Ashton screams in eternal judgment.

Dreadmoore mourns.

Dracula hunts.

And the Garden continues to grow—

patient, ancient, and very hungry.
