Chapter 120 - McDougal

As George said, getting a pair of roller skates isn't difficult at all.

Albert borrowed roller skates from Shanna, then used a copying spell on them, easily making a copy of the roller skates for all four of them to use.

Although Shanna used universal skates, Li Qiaodan's feet were too big to fit into Shanna's skates. He could only stand on the shore and watch his other roommates put on their skates and prepare to try this new sport.

"Watch your skates, don't slip, and don't hurt yourselves," Albert called out to Fred and George, who had already put on their skates. "You'd better separate and practice somewhere where there are no people."

"Is there really no way to change the size for me?" Li Qiaodan was a little annoyed; being left behind was not a pleasant feeling.

"Borrow a pair of roller skates from someone else, and I'll make you a duplicate pair." Albert put on his brown boots, bent his legs inward, and began to get used to the feeling of skating on the ice.

After putting on his roller skates, George started trying to walk and almost twisted his ankle.

Fred, standing next to him, fared even worse, falling directly to the ground and wincing in pain.

"Ugh, this guy really knows everything." Fred slowly stood up with Li Qiaodan's help.

"Watch out, don't step on my foot," Li Qiaodan shouted a warning.

"Are you alright?" Shanna turned a corner and stopped in front of the two of them.

"I've already told them." Albert stopped next to Shanna, looked at the twin brothers who could barely stand, and shook his head almost imperceptibly. "It's normal for them to fall a few times at the beginning."

"You really can ice skate," Shanna exclaimed, watching Albert's fluid movements. "You really can do everything!"

"I've played it before; my family taught me," Albert told a little lie.

Actually, Albert didn't have much talent in this area. After falling several times during practice, he got so angry that he used the skating panel to directly upgrade his skating skill to level 1.

"Someone teach us how to use this thing!" George shouted at the two men.

"Well… I can't help you." Albert shrugged helplessly and said to the twins, "My skating skills are terrible."

As if to emphasize what he had just said, Albert nodded again after finishing his sentence and repeated, "Yeah, it's terrible."

"You guys are ice skating too?" Mario turned a corner and stopped in front of Albert on his left.

The acrobatic trio skates here. They are very skilled at skating and can even perform all sorts of strange moves while skating.

Albert felt that the three of them could form a team and participate in an international figure skating competition.

"Mario, can you teach us how to skate?" George saw an acquaintance and quickly asked for help.

"I've only been learning myself for a short time, so I don't know how to teach others," Albert explained helplessly, noticing Jack's gaze.

"Well... that's no problem. However, we can't guarantee you'll be able to learn. After all, ice skating requires talent." Danny and the others didn't mind helping them out since they were all on the Gryffindor team and usually got along quite well.

Albert saw someone teaching the Weasleys and the others, so he looked at Shanna and asked, "Want to take a ride around the Black Lake together?"

"I won't go," Shanna said, glancing around the Black Lake before politely declining.

"See you later." Albert waved to the group and began skating around the Black Lake. The Black Lake at Hogwarts was really big, and there were quite a few students skating on the shore near the castle.

The lake was flat, and Albert glided around the shore, enjoying the scenery.

To be honest, it was a novel experience. He believed that many students hadn't actually appreciated the scenery around the school from various corners of the lakeside, and it would have been great if they had brought cameras.

Albert spent quite a bit of time circling the lake, and when he returned, he ran into a few acquaintances:

The red-haired McDougal sisters from Ravenclaw.

Katrina had just let go of her sister Isabel's hand when she slipped and fell flat on her backside.

Albert quickly went around the other person from the outside to avoid bumping into them.

It's dangerous for beginners to practice skating. After all, you never know when they'll fall or when they'll drag you down with them.

"Are you alright?" Albert asked, seeing that Isabel wasn't going to lend a hand, so he reached out and pulled Katrina up from the lake.

"Thank you." Katrina was a little embarrassed that Albert saw her disheveled appearance, but she still thanked Albert politely.

"Uh, you're welcome." Albert was considering whether he should let go; the other person looked like she might fall at any moment.

"Katrina, I'm afraid you don't have much talent in this area." Isabel looked at her sister with a helpless expression.

"Long time no see, Isabel," Albert said. "I've read your paper; it was excellent. What a pity."

"Thank you." Isabel nodded. "I never thought I would win the Most Promising Newcomer in Transfiguration Award. That's too early for me."

"You two know each other?" Katrina raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, we both attend Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration Club," Albert explained.

"Albert is a genius at Transfiguration," Isabel suddenly said.

"Do you two really enjoy flattering each other?" Katrina asked, looking at the two of them with a strange expression.

"This isn't flattery; it's a fact," Isabel shook her head and said. "By the way, my paper used a small part of your theory."

"I don't mind," Albert waved his hand. "Professor McGonagall told me about it, and I agreed. Anyway, it's all stuff from books."

"See you at the Transfiguration Club next time." Albert handed Katrina's hand to Isabel and turned to leave.

Isabel suddenly called out to Albert.

"I heard you're quite familiar with Professor Broad?" Isabel suddenly asked.

"?" Albert was taken aback, puzzled as to why Isabel would bring this up, but he still answered the question:

"We're not very close. I've been to Professor Broad's office a few times to discuss Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"It seems Professor Broad thinks highly of you," Isabel said meaningfully.

"What's wrong?" Albert looked at Isabel with a puzzled expression, sensing that Isabel's words had another meaning.

"Professor Broad is a very famous wizard. If you befriend him, you can learn a lot," Isabel nodded. "If you want to improve in a certain area, you need to communicate more with people who are talented in that field."

"Oh, thank you for reminding me." Albert looked puzzled but still thanked the other person before turning and leaving.

"Is Professor Broad really alright? He's just a fairly well-known wizard?" Albert was full of questions. He decided to take some time to look up information about Professor Broad.

Albert always felt that Professor Broad was a bit strange.

When Albert returned after skating a lap around Black Lake, Li Qiaodan was still struggling with his roller skates with Mario's help.

As for Fred and George, those two guys had long since disappeared.

"Where are the Weasley brothers?" Albert asked, puzzled.

"They gave up," Danny shrugged. "Only Li Qiaodan is still persisting, but he's also had a bad fall."
