Chapter 55: meeting everyone properly
Jay's POV
After the round of laughter, Keifer's friends started introducing themselves
Yuri stood up first
Yuri: I think everyone knows me but for the sake of formality I'll intoduce myself. I'm Yuri Hanamitchi and I'm the head of the Hanamitchi clan
With that Yuri sat back down, and a guy with dark hair, broad shoulders and the eyes of someone who will pamper you and kill someone in that same day, stood up.
David: then I'll keep the chain going... My name is David Braselton and I am the CEO of Braselton's company...
Jay: wait... Isn't your father a shareholder?
David: he is.... Why? And how do you know that?
I stood up as well
Jay: okay so for everyone who doesn't know me, my name is Jaspher Jean Fernandez Mariano, I'm the CEO of Mariano Enterprises.
David's eyes widened at the recodnicion...
David: wait... You were the CEO we met with my father? The one that came in heels and owned the meeting room like it owed you money?
Jay: yes I was the one you met, and yes I usually wear heels...
David: good to know...
Freya: you two know each other?
Jay: yeah... Met at a buissness meeting cuz our campanies have a partnership
Freya: right...
David: And everyone, call me David.
Jay: and for me, call me Jay or Jay-Jay
After that Felix stood up
Felix: hi everyone my name is Felix Collins and I'm a basketball player. Everyone should call me Felix -he said casually like meeting a world famous basketball player is an easy event for the other friend group-
After Felix, another guy stood up from Keifer's friend group. He looked a little more... Normal... Not formal but not let go either...
Mayo: hi my name is Mayo Harington and I'm an actor. Everyone please call me Mayo
After that he sat back down. Then two guys stood up, both had glasses but one had these orange lenses in his glasses, the other had these simple black square shaped glasses
The guy with the orange lenses started speaking
Edrix: hi everyone my name is Edrix Knight Peňaflor
Then Felix, the ever joker had to speak up
Felix: your name sounds spanish af
Edrix: no it doesn't
Felix: oh it does buddy
Jay: guys, leave each other alone
Then the guy with the black square shaped glasses spoke up
Rory: hi, my name is Rory Abejar everyone can call me Rory
After Rory said that a beautiful brunette girl walked into the café and David immeadiatly waved her over and she came to our table
David: so everyone. I want you to meet my girlfriend, Ava
Ava: hi everyone, it's nice to finally meet you. David?
David: yes?
Ava: you said around ten people... Not twenty something....
Keifer: yeah... Sorry.... David said we will meet you on a gathering but we forgot to tell everyone that this gathering is for two friend groups....
Ava: two as?
Keifer: two as mine, wich David belongs into and my girlfriend's as the other half belongs into.
Ava: oh, I see... And who is your girlfriend?
Jay: me.
Ava went to Jay and shook hands with her respectfully
Ava: nice to meet you. Ava Jones.
Jay: same here. Jasper Jean Fernandez Mariano
Ava: THAT Jay Mariano?
Jay: yes....
Ava: then it's really great to meet the CEO ruling the U.S. and now the Philippines....
Jay: how did you?
Ava: I'm a journalist
Jay: oh....
Ava: yeah.... Sorry... I know you didn't come for an interview...
Jay: it's okay.
Then all the girls sat close to each other and we all started gossiping
