Seeing Vegeta taken down in a single strike, everyone tensed.
Frieza's aura was overwhelming—only now did they truly understand the gap between them.
Without Kaio-Ken, there was no way to fight him.
And even with twentyfold Kaio-Ken, they were still nowhere near his level.
But if they lacked the courage to step forward, they had no right to call themselves warriors.
Krillin said calmly, "Everyone, don't panic. Vegeta doesn't know Kaio-Ken—his strength just isn't enough!"
"We fight like we always trained. Together."
"Goku stays out. I'll take the front!"
Tien: "I'll cover the right!"
Chi-Chi: "I'll take the left!"
Yamcha: "I've got the rear!"
With a shout, they rushed Frieza.
Chi-Chi struck first from the left, her fists flashing like lightning as she swept toward him.
Fresh from transformation, Frieza moved with terrifying agility—ducking, weaving, slipping past every blow with effortless precision.
As he prepared to counter, Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien closed in.
Their fists and kicks came like a storm, sealing off every escape route.
Frieza could only keep dodging within the ring of attacks.
But even if every hit landed, it would only make him feel pain—nothing more.
Then—
"Kamehameha!"
A beam of energy roared toward Frieza.
Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha immediately withdrew.
Frieza, who had been evading with ease, was startled.
He had just slipped out of the encirclement when he saw a massive blast bearing down on his face.
Grinding his teeth, he stomped hard and launched himself into the air.
But as he avoided Chi-Chi's attack, three more beams came at him from different angles.
With no time to dodge, Frieza crossed his arms and blocked the barrage.
"BOOM!"
Explosions tore through the air.
Everyone held their breath, staring into the smoke—
hoping Frieza had finally been blasted apart.
But Frieza was Frieza. How could he fall to such straightforward tactics?
As the dust cleared and his silhouette emerged, he raised a finger and pointed at Chi-Chi.
A razor-fast energy shot streaked toward her.
Chi-Chi's pupils shrank. The thin beam came like rain from the sky.
She saw it—but her speed wasn't enough to evade.
In desperation, she braced herself, trying to defend and avoid being killed in one blow.
Then—
"Crack!"
A flashing hand strike cut through the air, knocking the beam aside.
Chi-Chi looked up—Son Goku had deflected it.
She exhaled, shaken. "Thanks, Goku… He's too fast. I can't keep up."
Goku nodded. "Don't let your guard down. If you focus, you can dodge."
"He hasn't fought in a long time—his attacks are still stiff."
"Watch his opening movements. If we all go all out, we can beat him."
Chi-Chi nodded. "Got it!"
She charged again.
The four moved in perfect coordination.
Even in his complete form, Frieza couldn't gain the upper hand.
Instead, he was being pressured from all sides.
Killing even one of them to ease the burden wasn't easy.
Goku thought to himself—if he hadn't mastered the Super Saiyan transformation, joining in at base would probably be pointless.
Several exchanges later, everyone began to pant. Maintaining Kaio-Ken drained them heavily.
But Frieza was breathing hard too.
Facing four experienced fighters with flawless teamwork was no simple matter.
In a straight clash, he was confident he could overwhelm any one of them.
But four against one—with constant support, cover, and rescue—
no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't land a decisive blow.
It felt as though every ounce of power he used struck nothing but air.
Just as Frieza took a breath—
another beam crushed down on him.
Enraged, he didn't dodge.
He kicked upward in a spinning strike, launching the blast into the sky.
He flipped and landed—
Then a voice rang out:
"Ki Blast Cannon!"
Frieza's eyes widened.
A bald, three-eyed warrior hovered above, hands forming a triangle as energy gathered at the center.
By the time Frieza tried to move, it was too late.
A massive Ki Blast Cannon engulfed him.
This wasn't an ordinary energy wave—its power couldn't be kicked away.
Frieza crossed his arms and endured it head-on.
"BOOM!"
White light exploded.
He was blasted straight into the ground.
A colossal crater formed.
Frieza lay at the bottom, steam rising from his body.
He clenched his fists, slammed the earth, and lifted his head, snarling.
"You sneaky little insect… I'll grind you to dust—"
Before the words even finished—
another Ki Blast Cannon slammed down.
"BOOM!"
The crushing force drove him back into the crater.
The attack didn't truly injure him.
But the humiliation was unbearable.
The instant the blast faded, Frieza surged upward—
only to be met by slicing arcs of Destructo Disc.
His eyes went wide as he retreated in panic.
The cutting power was terrifying.
He could dodge if he saw them in time—but after taking two direct Ki Blast Cannons, he'd leapt out in haste.
By the time he registered the discs, they were already upon him.
One blade ripped across him.
Because of his backward motion, his tail and part of his foot were still exposed.
The Destructo Disc severed his tail—and sliced away half his foot.
Frieza's pupils shook.
He had never imagined an attack like this could wound him.
Then the pain hit.
Sweat beaded across his face as he screamed.
Purple Ki erupted from him.
Wind howled. The earth quaked. Lightning cracked across the sky.
"Enough!"
"You damned ants… you've made me angry!"
Frieza shot into the air and raised a finger.
A golden sphere of energy formed, swelling rapidly—larger and larger.
Power condensed within it until it became a blazing Supernova.
Even without aiming at anyone—
if dropped straight down, it could pierce the planet's core.
Krillin had been exhilarated by landing a hit with Destructo Disc.
But now, he understood the gravity of the situation.
Everyone stared in horror.
Tien wiped sweat from his brow. "Damn it… with an energy ball that big, Earth would be destroyed too!"
Yamcha clenched his fists. "He's going to take us all with him!"
Krillin's heart pounded. In that moment, he thought of Earth—his wife, his daughter.
He couldn't give up.
He roared, "Then we go all in!"
He cupped his hands at his side.
Seeing this, the others gathered their energy as well.
Chi-Chi: "Kamehameha—!"
Tien: "Dodon Ray!"
Yamcha: "Kamehameha!"
Not far away, Piccolo unleashed Special Beam Cannon.
As the Supernova descended—
multiple beams slammed into it.
The massive sphere shuddered, its downward momentum halted.
Frieza stared, stunned.
"You can actually hold back my Supernova… impressive."
"But that's your full strength—this isn't mine."
"I only need to add a little more power…"
"And you'll all die with this planet."
He pressed downward.
The Supernova crushed forward again.
They all shouted, forcing out the last of their energy.
Whether they wanted to or not—this strike would decide everything.
Their beams flared brighter.
But it still wasn't enough.
Against overwhelming power, numbers meant nothing.
When true domination was reached, one fighter could annihilate many.
Their strategy was failing.
Within the golden sphere, they saw the end approaching.
The vision of themselves—and the planet—vanishing together.
At least…
Bulma had already evacuated the Namekians.
Even if they all died, they could be revived.
Just as they were about to close their eyes—
a golden aura shot skyward.
Everyone's bodies shook.
"Goku!"
"I forgot—Goku has already mastered Super Saiyan!"
"I thought we were about to go out in a blaze of glory…"
Goku, transformed, flew to the Supernova and kicked it with all his might.
The massive sphere was hurled into space—
and detonated in a blinding flash.
Krillin, Chi-Chi, Tien, and Yamcha collapsed, completely drained.
They understood now—no matter how perfect their coordination, without greater power, they could never truly harm Frieza.
Destructo Disc would only work once.
With caution, he'd never fall for it again.
And now, they faced an enraged Frieza who could destroy planets at will.
Who could withstand that?
Frieza narrowed his eyes.
"You… who are you?"
"You actually deflected my Supernova."
Goku didn't answer. He looked to his friends.
"Get out of here. The rest is between him and me."
They nodded and withdrew.
Goku kept his eyes on Frieza, guarding against any sneak attack.
Fortunately, Frieza didn't move.
Then—
Vegeta, healed, stepped forward, laughing.
"Hahahaha, Frieza! Didn't expect this, did you?"
"Kakarot is a Super Saiyan now. Your end has come!"
Frieza's gaze hardened as he turned to Goku.
"Super Saiyan…?"
"So this is the legendary transformation?"
Vegeta roared with laughter.
"That's right! He's the Super Saiyan!"
"Even after you destroyed Planet Vegeta, decades later, the warrior you feared still appeared!"
Frieza's irritation spiked.
"You annoying pest. I killed you—how are you alive again?"
"No matter. You'll die again."
"Even if you were immortal, crushing you would take only a finger!"
He pointed—
A Death Beam shot toward Vegeta.
In the instant before it struck—
Goku flashed in, knocking the beam aside with a sharp chop.
Frieza's attack was interrupted again. His target still lived.
He was furious.
His fists clenched.
Pain throbbed through him—his severed tail and foot screamed constantly.
He glanced down.
The tail didn't matter.
But the wound in his foot—like a severed finger—sent agony through his entire body.
Gritting his teeth, he snarled, "If not for your numbers, I would never be reduced to this!"
Goku's voice carried calmly.
"Catch this. Eat it, Frieza."
He tossed something over.
Frieza caught it, confused.
"What is this?"
"It's a Senzu Bean. Vegeta recovered from the brink of death after eating one."
"It restores strength, heals wounds… even regrows lost limbs."
Frieza's eyes widened.
"Regrows limbs?"
Goku nodded.
Frieza studied him. "You came to kill me. Why give me this?"
Goku's green eyes burned with excitement.
"I want a fair fight."
"Not to win because I had numbers on my side."
Frieza's lips curled into a slow, knowing smile. He swallowed the bean.
In moments, his wounds vanished.
His tail restored. His foot completely healed.
His stamina surged back to its peak.
He flexed in disbelief.
"Incredible… such a miraculous thing exists."
Goku smiled, then looked to his friends.
Krillin understood at once, nodding. He grabbed Vegeta—who was still protesting—and pulled him back with the others.
Now, only Goku remained.
"Alright," Goku said. "Thanks for not killing them."
Frieza laughed softly.
"Oh ho ho ho ho… You really think you can stand equal to the emperor of the universe?"
"Very well."
"Now, only you and I remain."
"Then I'll show you… what true power really is."
"You're wrong."
Frieza blinked. "What?"
Goku's gaze was steady.
"I'm the one who's going to show you… what strength truly means."
They both roared.
Two titanic auras surged at once.
The entire surface of Planet Namek trembled.
