Chapter 38 - Chapter-38

After finishing my conversation with Daguo, my hand holding the chopsticks couldn't stop trembling during the meal. My mind was constantly filled with thoughts of what might happen at home soon.

After eating, I went to the playground as usual, sitting on the flower bed with a book in hand. But I had no intention of reading, my mind still preoccupied with the possible events at home.

By now, Daguo must have already arrived at my house. I kept opening QQ on my phone, checking if Daguo had sent me a video or audio clip, or even just a photo.

But no matter how long I waited, I didn't receive any reply from Daguo.

Damn, this guy wouldn't prioritize his lust over friendship and forget all about me, would he?

Just before class was about to start, I returned to the classroom. Two minutes before the bell rang, I finally saw a dusty figure walk into the classroom—who else could it be but Daguo.

My eyes followed Daguo as he moved. After entering, he glanced at me and then went to his seat. However, judging by his expression, there didn't seem to be anything unusual.

My heart felt as if it were being scratched by a cat, desperately wanting to know the answer.

And so, I muddled through the entire afternoon until finally, school was over. I saw Daguo waiting for me at the school gate.

"How did it go?" After riding a short distance, I immediately asked Daguo, my heart tense to the extreme.

"Nothing happened..." Hearing my question, Daguo replied with a hint of disappointment.

"Oh..." Hearing Daguo's words, I breathed a sigh of relief. The excitement that had been suppressed all afternoon instantly vanished. It would be a lie to say I wasn't disappointed.

I had thought that after last night's stimulation, Mom would take advantage of the empty house at noon to indulge in passion with Daguo, enjoying his large genitalia. I never expected nothing would happen.

After all, novels are just novels; real-life situations are truly different.

"After I went over at noon, Auntie looked at me with a completely normal expression, though there was something slightly different in her eyes. She gave me the medicine, but her tone was entirely normal. This kind of normal behavior really left me with no opening... If she had shown even a hint of shyness, I would have dared to take the initiative..." Daguo sighed as he spoke.

"Are you thinking of giving up?" I couldn't help but ask, forcing a somewhat fake smile.

"How could I? I knew from the start that Auntie would be hard to crack. But that's fine—the harder she is to crack, the more meaningful it will be when I finally succeed, right?" Daguo then revealed a confident smile as he spoke.

"Do you really think you have a chance?" Hearing Daguo's words, I couldn't help but think of Teacher An. There was indeed a similar feeling.

"A very good chance, I tell you. Although Auntie is hard to conquer, once she is, she'll open up completely. She's the type who explodes in silence..." As Daguo said this, there was a hint of infatuation in his eyes.

"Will you come to our house again tomorrow?" I asked again.

"Yes, Auntie wants to install surveillance equipment at home, so I'm going to help her choose..." Daguo nodded.

"Install surveillance?" Hearing this, I was taken aback. Why would she suddenly install surveillance at home for no reason?

"Yeah, especially in your storage room and the yard. It's for safety reasons... In case something gets stolen from the warehouse or a thief breaks into the house... It's perfectly normal..." Daguo tilted his head as he spoke.

"Oh..." Hearing Daguo's words, I felt a small surge of excitement. But then I thought, the cameras would definitely be installed in the warehouse and yard. They couldn't possibly install them in my and Mom's bedrooms or the bathroom, right?

My excitement quickly faded.

"I helped Auntie pick out the surveillance equipment..." As he said this, Daguo winked.

When I returned home, Mom showed no signs of anything unusual. Although Daguo had said nothing happened, I still held onto a sliver of doubt. Now, it seemed nothing had indeed happened.

Right, Mom isn't some promiscuous woman. How could she just take the initiative to seduce and throw herself at Daguo after seeing just one photo of him?

In the evening, Daguo didn't message me on QQ. Probably chatting with Mom again, I guessed.

The next morning, Daguo arrived at our house early. When he greeted Mom, I secretly glanced at her and noticed that the way she looked at Daguo seemed slightly different—there was something more in her eyes than before. Or maybe I was overthinking it.

Soon after, the installers arrived with the surveillance equipment. As I expected, the cameras were installed in our storage room, at the entrance of the storage room, and at our main gate.

As for the house where Mom and I lived, no surveillance equipment was installed.

After the installation, the staff tested it on the computer in Mom's bedroom. Everything worked perfectly, and the footage was very clear.

Our main gate, the front door, the warehouse door, and the inside of the warehouse—there were almost no blind spots. The monitoring terminal was connected to the computer in Mom's bedroom.

After the installation, Daguo taught Mom how to use it in her bedroom while I studied in my room.

I wasn't very interested in the surveillance. Even if Daguo and Mom did something, it would likely happen in the bedroom at home. They definitely wouldn't openly go to the yard, right?

Even if something might happen in the storage room, I'd need access to Mom's computer to see it. How would I get that chance?

"Hey, why so down?" After lunch, Mom went into the storage room. Daguo didn't go to help her but instead came to my study desk, pretending to "study."

"Nothing..." I didn't say much and tried to focus on reviewing.

"Here's something good for you. Give me your phone..." Daguo glanced toward the storage room and then whispered cautiously.

"What for?" I asked curiously but still handed him my phone.

"You'll see in a moment..." Daguo took out something like an instruction manual, then used my phone to scan a QR code, seemingly installing something.

"Good thing there's a loophole in the permissions your mom set on your phone. I can actually install this app..." After finishing, Daguo breathed a sigh of relief.

"What is it?" I asked, confused, as he seemed to be entering something into my phone.

"Here, take a look..." Daguo handed the phone back to me. I took it and was stunned to see the screen displaying footage from our storage room. Mom was inside, checking inventory with a list. Although my phone screen was small, the image was very clear.

"This surveillance system is the one I picked for Auntie... When it was installed, I didn't tell her that it also has remote monitoring capabilities..." Daguo said, winking.

"You can see it too, right?" I took a deep breath and asked.

"Of course. With this key, you can install up to four terminals. Just don't let Auntie find out. Set a password for yourself later..." Daguo said, carefully putting away the instruction manual.

As I watched Mom busily working in the storage room, I couldn't suppress my curiosity.

Maybe I really could see something different?

If I could see it, Daguo could too. I was sure he had installed the app on his phone and could see it even more clearly than I could.

Since Daguo and I decided on this "mother exchange" plan, it's been over half a month now. I've successfully gotten Daguo's mom—Teacher An. Although Daguo tricked me once, I still succeeded in the end.

But when will Daguo succeed with my mom?

Honestly, my success with Teacher An and Daguo's success with my mom are equally important to me.

Now that things with Teacher An have worked out, most of my attention has shifted to Daguo and my mom.

I wonder if the two of them will eventually succeed, how long it will take, what the scene will be like when it happens, and whether I'll be able to see it.

"By the way, I'm staying at your place tonight..." Just as I was staring blankly at my phone screen, Daguo suddenly said this.

"What?" I was taken aback and raised my voice in surprise.

"My mom is going to the city for training this weekend, so I'll be home alone... I need your help with this. It's hard for me to ask Auntie directly..." Daguo said, looking a bit embarrassed and awkward. I hadn't fully processed it yet...
