Author's Note — A Pause, Not an End
I want to be straightforward with everyone who reached this point.
This story will be paused for a while.
When I started writing this, it was my first time publishing seriously. I wrote fast, uploaded faster, and learned many lessons the hard way. Some things worked, some didn't, and I don't want to force the main plot forward when I know it deserves better pacing and clearer direction.
So for now, the main storyline and political progression will be discontinued temporarily.
That said—this world, these characters, and especially the MC, the female leads and the Heavenly Emperor's comedy still mean a lot to me.
Because of that, I want to make one thing clear:
This is not a permanent goodbye
This is not an abandonment
And this is not bait for comments or collections
For readers who genuinely enjoyed the characters, their interactions, the harem dynamics, or the lighthearted comedy—
I may release separate short-form side stories in the future.
These will be:
Non-canon or lightly canon
Comedy-focused
Rom-com and character-driven
Released under a separate short-story format or rebranded title
No politics, no heavy plot obligations—just relaxed writing.
If that happens, it will be optional content, meant purely for enjoyment.
