That afternoon, the local youth centre buzzed with heated arguments.
Ryan, Nick, Adam on one side
and Blake, Samuel, Victor on the other.
Ryan shouted,
"Nicky, you idiot, do you even know what's in there or not?"
Nick snapped back,
"Don't make fun of my name, you—!"
Tempers were rising fast.
Blake yelled, "Nicky, you crazy fool, don't talk too much!"
"I'll smash your face—"
"Who's smashing whose face?"
From the doorway stood Simon Laurent, the club's star footballer who had played for several well-known Local teams. Everyone respected him.
The boys fell silent — embarrassed.
They explained the situation to Simon.
After listening, Simon said,

Even Adam, though nervous, agreed under Samuel's teasing.
