First day at school, and there is already trouble for poor movie-Lloyd. :(
I will be skipping around with days, through some of the chapters(since this is a mini story). So some chapters might be a little short.

*First class.*
Nova took a little while until she found her first class, which was, of course, history.
She waited outside the classroom, until the teacher called her in and had Nova introduce herself.
Nova took a glance at all the other students in the classroom, and took notice of a few noticeable characters. "Umm, hey there, everyone. I'm Nova Ocean, nice to meet you all. As for a little bit about myself, I like video games, and building cool stuff out of tech, oh, and I love cooking."
"Thanks for introducing yourself, Nova, now go and find yourself a seat so we can start class." said Mrs. Flora.
Nova gave a short nod and went to find herself a seat, when, of course, one of the boys tried getting her attention.
"Hey! Novo, why don't you take the seat next to me, I can help you if you need any help." said the guy, who was wearing a cheerleader jacket.
Nova glanced at him with a sigh. "Firstly, it's Nova, not Novo, and secondly. I don't need your help." She walked past his seat and took the very back seat next to none other than Lloyd, who grew very anxious by her taking the seat next to him.
"I don't think you should sit here." said Lloyd, keeping his head down and avoiding eye contact. "You're gonna get bullied if you sit next to me."
Nova let out a yawn and placed her schoolbag on her desk. "I don't care, if they have a problem with it, then screw them."
Lloyd looked over at her, observing her carefully with a skeptic eye. "Please, I don't wanna cause you any trouble, and with you sitting next to me. It's only gonna end up bad for you."
Nova rested her head on her bag, letting out another yawn, and turned to look over at him. A soft but tired look in her eye. "But you don't seem like a bad person to me, if anything. You seem like a sweet and kind person."
Lloyd was surprised to hear her say that, except for his friends and mom, no one had ever said or even thought that of him. "You still shouldn't sit next to me."
Nova had at this point fallen asleep in her seat, too tired for anymore talking.
"How can she sleep when school has just started? She is gonna be in so much trouble with the teacher." Lloyd thought, glancing at her a few times, but mostly kept his focus on his own work.
Nova, for once, was getting some good sleep, with Lloyd sitting next to her. But sadly, her nap was short as the sound of Mrs. Flora's voice could be heard, along with the sound of something hitting her desk.
"Nova Ocean! This is not a place to be sleeping, and on your first day." said Mrs. Flora, hitting the desk with a ruler.
Nova woke up with an annoyed growled, glancing up at the teacher. "Sorry, didn't get much sleep last night."
Mrs. Flora let out a heavy sigh while giving Lloyd a cold glare. "Since this is your first day, I'll let it slip. But don't think I'll be this kind next time." She turned around and walked back to the front desk of the class.
"Bitch." Nova mumbled with a yawn and put down her bag and pulled out a notebook along with a pencil. "Maybe this was a bad idea, school is so boring. I miss adventures and stealing stuff already..... but this is the most normal life I've had until I can go back."
Nova spent most of the time doodling in her notebook, since she already knew everything the teacher was teaching them in this class, except for a few things.
"Now, before we end this class, I have an assignment for you all." said Mrs. Flora, looking over the whole class.
"You all need to be in a team of two, and work on writing a historical moment and how you think it should have been solved or what you would want to change for the better." Mrs. Flora explained.
Everyone quickly started finding a partner to work with, but no one even dared to get anywhere near Lloyd.
"Hey, Nova, what do you say about pairing up with me?" said the cheerleader guy from earlier, smiling at her. "The name's Chad, by the way, so you don't forget me." He gave her a charming wink as he leaned over her desk.
Nova gave him a deadpanned look, and turned her attention over to Lloyd, who was curling in on himself. "Do you wanna pair up with me?"
"What?" Lloyd glanced at her skeptically, wondering if she was plotting something.
"Oh no, you don't wanna pair up with Garma-dork, he will just give you bad voodoo." said Chad, shoving Lloyd out of his chair and took his seat instead.
"I wasn't asking you." Nova got up from her chair and walked over to Lloyd, holding out a hand for him.
Lloyd glanced up at Nova, but didn't take her hand, as he just got up and grabbed his bag, and started leaving.
"See, even he knows he is good for nothing." said Chad, wrapping an arm over her shoulders. "Anyway, forget about that loser. Pair up with me, and we'll beat this assignment, no problem."
Nova gave him a cold and eerie glare. "You are getting on my nerves, asshole." She elbowed him in the guts before grabbing her bag, and quickly ran after Lloyd.
"Where did he go?" Nova looked around until she heard something getting slammed into a locker. "Sounds like that way." She followed where the sound came from, and stopped when she saw Morro giving Lloyd a beating and shoving him against the lockers.
"Of course it will be Morro, who wouldn't beat up Lloyd." Nova thought as a crowd had been made of people watching. "Why so early, we just finished first class."
"You're nothing but a pathetic fool, Garma-dork. If you wanna do something good, why don't you just kill yourself. It would make our lives so much easier." said Morro and knocking Lloyd right in the stomach, causing him to fall to the floor.
"Yeah, Garma-dork, it's all your fault your father is ruining our lives." said another student.
"Everything would be so much better if you just died." said a different student.
Lloyd coughing up a bit of blood, tears forming in his eyes as he grabbed his bag and just pushed himself through the crowd and ran away from everyone.
"Lloyd..." Nova watched him run away, before glancing at the others, who had started laughing.
"What a loser! Doesn't even have the balls to fight." Morro laughed along with the others.
Nova growled in anger, unable to hold her temper anymore. "By the motherfucking Overlord! What is wrong with you people!"
Everyone stopped laughing and turned their attention to Nova. "Who is this?"
"Hey, it's you again, princess. I must say, I didn't think you were that str—" Morro didn't get to finish his sentence as Nova shoved him into the lockers, her left eye glowing purple.
"I've just about had enough of you and everyone here!" Nova growled at him, and secretly had his shadow force him to stay in place.
Everyone quickly backed away, slightly scared of Nova.
"W-what in the world, are you?" Morro asked, glancing at her. "And why do you even care about that loser?"
"I'm someone you shouldn't anger, and unlike you people. I at least know how to treat people better." Nova let go of him and pushed past everyone as she followed Lloyd, using the shadows when no one was looking.
"It's just the first school day, and I just finished first class. And already there is trouble, I hate this school so much." Nova used the shadows to search around for Lloyd, until she heard the sound of crying from the janitor's closet.
Nova got out of the shadows, and slowly opened the door to the janitor's closet. When she looked inside, she saw Lloyd flinch in fear and curled in on himself. Scared, it was one of the bullies again.
"Hey, it's just me." said Nova, closing the door behind her and slowly walked over to him.
Lloyd looked up at Nova, tears in his eyes, while he had his arms wrapped around himself. "W-what, are you doing here? W-what if someone sees you with me and starts bulling you too?"
Nova rolled her eyes and sat down beside him. "Stop worrying so much about me getting bullied, I can take it." She let out a sigh, glancing at him. "You should go to the nurse's office, I'm not blind to see you're hurt."
Lloyd shook his head at this, not moving from his spot. "If I leave, I'll just get caught again. I'll just wait until everyone has left."
Nova tilted her head with a small sigh. "Alright then, I'll sit here and wait with you."
"W-what? No, this is your first day. I wouldn't wanna be the reason you're getting in trouble." said Lloyd, looking at her nervously.
"Fuck the school, and everyone else. I'm not leaving you here on your own." said Nova, placing a hand on his shoulder, causing him to flinch in fear of getting hurt. "Now, why don't we introduce ourselves, I'm Nova, and you are?" She held out a hand while giving a soft smile.
Lloyd looked surprised at her, at how honest and blunt she was being. He glanced at her hand but didn't take it. "I'm pretty sure you already know who I am."
Nova raised an eyebrow looking at him. "I wouldn't know until you introduce yourself." She said, still smiling at him.
Lloyd watched her carefully, trying to see if he could see any hint of her tricking him. But when he didn't find anything, he slowly took her hand and shook it. "I-I'm Lloyd."
"Nice to meet you, Lloyd." said Nova, with a loving smile. Thinking back to her own Lloyd and how she missed him.
Lloyd couldn't help but start blushing from the smiling she was giving him, and how nice she was being to him. "Y-you too, N-Nova."
Nova let out a soft giggle at how shy he was getting. "You can just call me Ocea, that's what my old friends used to call me."
Lloyd's face only grew more red from hearing her giggle, not a hint of malice in it. "S-sure Ocea, that is a nice nickname."
Nova just kept smiling at him, it felt nice talking and being around him. It helped her forget the stress she was under, and how she betrayed her own Lloyd. "I guess I could help keeping some of the more aggressive bullies away from him, though not all of them, and I still need to keep my powers a secret."
"So why did you follow me? It couldn't possibly be just because of what happened earlier with.... Morro." Lloyd asked.
"I wanna pair up with you for our assignment." said Nova, smiling at him.
"You didn't pair up with Chad? But why do you wanna pair up with me?" Lloyd asked, confused on why she would pick him.
"I told you already, Lloyd. You seem like a sweet and kind person." said Nova, looking at him. "Do I need any other reason?"
"But my father is Garmadon the evil warlord who terrorizes Ninjago City daily." said Lloyd, rubbing the back of his neck. "I don't wanna cause you any trouble."
Nova observed him closely, thinking over if she should tell him that she had an evil parent too. "No, I shouldn't mess too much with the timeline of this movie. For everyone's sake." She let out a small sigh before the sound of cracking could be heard, and she quickly clutched her chest, leaning forward in pain.
"W-what's wrong, Ocea? What was that sound?" Lloyd asked, surprised when hearing the sound and the way Nova acted.
"F-fuck, I thought the cracking had stop. Since the crystal still isn't working." Nova had to bite down a scream, her body shaking slightly from the pain. "I-I'm fine, n-nothing to worry about."
"But you look like you're in pain." said Lloyd, hesitating slightly, but gently placed a hand on her shoulder.
"It's nothing serious, really." said Nova, giving a small smile.
Lloyd gave her a skeptic look, not really believing that it wasn't anything serious. "You should go and see a nurse."
"So should you." said Nova, poking his forehead.
Lloyd groans and gently shoved her finger away from his forehead. "I will, when everyone has gone to class."
"Then I guess we are both staying here until then." said Nova with a slight smirk.
"Why do you have to be so stubborn?" Lloyd asked.
"I just am. Just like yourself." said Nova, looking at him.
"I'm not stubborn.... just careful." said Lloyd, avoiding eye contact.
"Riiight..." Nova rolled her eyes and decided to get herself comfortable. "Well, I'm gonna take a nap. Wake me up when it's safe to leave."
"How can you think about sleeping, when you just slept back in the first class?" Lloyd asked.
"I don't really have to worry about anything, and I'm pretty sure I know everything I need to know already from the other classes." said Nova, closing her eyes.
Lloyd narrowed his eyes at her, growing more skeptical. "Are you using something to cheat?"
"If I wanted to cheat, I would have done so already." said Nova, leaning slightly back and tried getting some sleep.
"Hmmm." Lloyd waited until Nova had fallen asleep, and only then did he started texting his friends and began searching her up. Something about her just didn't seem right with him, and it couldn't help to be extra careful.
