Chapter 3 - Two

Two

A girl appeared as the door opened. She glanced around as she entered the room and close the door behind her. I smiled at her when her eyes meet mine.

She smiled back, "You must be my room mate."

"I guess." I replied.

She chuckled and her eyes went at my bed. I guess she wanted this side.

I was about to grab my things when she suddenly interrupted.

"No. Stay there. I'll just…" She paused as she looked at the other side if the room, "take that side."

I nodded with a smile.

She placed her backpack beside the bed and sat on the bed while rubbing her hand against the sheet.

"The room is big and the bed is comforting." She stated and she looked at me, "What do you think?"

"I agree." I replied with a smile.

She nodded with a smile, "By the way, I'm Elaina Zachary."

"And I'm Alrisha Mcrae." I responded in a friendly tone.

"Your Last name sounds familiar." She wondered a loud, "Are you the daughter of the CEO of Dreamworld films?"

I smiled at her as I nodded, "You also looked familiar. Like I already see you before."

"Well, I'm the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zachary. Founder of Young Authors Publishing House." She stated.

My eyes widened in amusement, "That's my parent's company partner. They've been partners for 10 years."

She chuckled, "I believe, we're going to be good friends."

I giggled but my brows suddenly furrowed by thought that came in my mind, "I heard that Young Authors was founded by 3 persons."

She nodded, "My mom and dad, and my dad's brother."

I nodded as my eyebrows raised, trying to absorb the thought in my mind.

"Tomorrow will be the beginning of class. Are you having some trouble looking for your class?" She changed the subject.

"Sort of." I embarrassingly smiled. I'll be a fool if I say I don't.

"Let's take a tour." she offered.

"Sure." I need it. I don't have whole day just to look for a single subject in every class.

She gave me a friendly smile as she stood and went to the door. I was right behind her. She opened the door and allowed me to go out first and she followed, closing the door behind her.

We started to walked around the campus. I was impressed by the buildings and how big the gym is. Elaina also said some details regarding the building that we happened to pass by. And all the rooms in each building were fully air-conditioned. Daeyeon Academy is not that bad.

While we were on the girls' locker room hallway, there were group of boys running and they were heading to us. I dodged from them but one guy hit my shoulder.

I groaned as I massaged my shoulder.

"Are you alright ?" Elaina asked.

"I'm fine." I lied, though my shoulder truly hurts.

I heard their voices laughing behind us. It made my head automatically turned to them. In my surprise, my eyes widened as my lips parted when I recognized one of them. Oh no. I'm not ready to see him after our bitter break up.

"Dwight Caster?" I mumbled, "What are you doing here?"

He narrowed his eyes at me, "Excuse me?"

I glared at him, "Why the hell are you here, Dwight?"

"What are you talking about?" He sounded puzzled while starting at me.

I felt Elaina's curious look at me, as well as the friends of that punk. They were both puzzled. And I was also surprised for his reaction. He sounded like he didn't know me.

I gave him a sarcastic smirk, "That's good, Dwight. Playing innocent is your game."

Before he could thought of something to say, I turned my back at them and left. I heard Elaina's footsteps following me.

Does he really don't recognize me? Or was he just playing innocent? Or maybe I was too assuming? Considering that we had a past relationship.

I catch a glimpse of Elaina's eyes staring at me. Maybe she was curious why my brows furrowed.

"Do you know those guys earlier?" I asked. It's kind of awkward but I just need to know.

It took her a minute before she answered, "Yeah. It's Kieffer Shacklock and his friends."

"The guy that I talked to, do you know him?" I clarified.

Her brows meet, "That's Dwayne Caster."

"Dwayne?" I frowned as I looked at her.

Her brows raised but curiosity is written on her face, "Yeah?"

I looked away with unsettled thought. Dwayne? Did he change his name or what? Maybe I just mistook him with someone else. But that was impossible. He looked exactly like him and there was no mistake. Considering that he didn't recognize me could also make sense.

Finally, we made it to our dorm. .

But when Elaina open the door, my eyes was about to drop on the ground and my mouth was hang open.

"What on earth happen here!?" I yelled.

We both slowly step inside as we covered our noses and glanced around. The odor stinks and my forehead wrinkled as I looked around the room.

The room is a disaster.

Sticky liquid was on the walls like I don't know what is it, a lot of oils on the floor, a brownish thing on the corners that caused the bad smell. Our clothes, personal things and everything are disarrange and all of it were soaking wet, and also dirty vandals were written on the walls and floors. Not to mention the plastic cups, cellophanes and other trashes that were suppose to be in the garbage were scatter everywhere.

"Who the hell did this!?" Elaina exclaimed.

"Elaina, do you know who is three kings?" I asked while staring on a certain wall.

She grimaced, "Why do you ask?"

"Look, it was written on the wall." I point to the wall where I was looking.

She went to my side and looked at the wall where my finger was pointing.

" 'A beautiful creation of 3 kings.' " She read what was written on the wall and she frowned, "Again?"

"Do you know them?" I asked as I looked at her.

She turned to meet my gaze, "Its Kieffer and company."

"Do you know their dormitory number?"

She fixed a puzzled look at me, "At the green building, next to this building, on the right side, #149." She illustrated, "What are you planning?"

"Just returning the favor to him." I said with sarcastic smile before turning my back to her.

"Hey! Alrisha!"

I didn't looked back as I dashed out of the room and went straight to the Cafeteria. This is why I hate private school. Bullying. And if you didn't fight back, they would think they were the kings and University is their kingdom.

At the counter, I asked the woman who was in-charge for leftovers. At first, she eyed me from head to toe, obviously wondering why would I asked for it. Later, she just shrugged and gave me what I asked. She put it in a disposable tupperware.

I sprinted to the green building according to Elaina's sketch. All eyes were at me as I passed by the hallway. Possibly because of the leftovers that I had. It really stinks and it could make their heads turn. But I don't mind.

When I arrived, I didn't think twice as I kicked the door to open. Kieffer and his friends looked so surprised. And their eyes was fixed at the leftovers on my hand.

"Kieffer! I brought you something." I exclaimed as I entered his room.

He looked assumed after I called his name, "I hope I like that." And he sarcastically chuckled. His friends even joined him.

I opened the cover of the Tupperware with an evil smile, "Of course. I know you will."

Before he could thought of it, I quickly threw the leftovers to him. It got his face and his shirt.

He frowned as he gave me a deadly glare, "Fucking asshole!" He cursed with gritted teeth.

"That's what you get for ruining my room." I replied as I crossed my arms and turned my back at him.

"Go to hell, bitch!" I heard his mad voice as I walked out of his room but I didn't bother to look at him.

All heads swivel towards me as I passed by the hallway. I could notice them gossiping about what I did but I didn't let it get in me.

- Kieffer's POV –

Holy shit! Did a girl just throw leftovers at me? This is a nightmare.

"That was bold." Dwayne mumbled with a smirk.

My brows furrowed as I looked at him, "Do you know her?"

He narrowed his eyes at me, "It's the first time I saw her."

"But he seemed know you." I replied.

He sighed with a half smile, "She just mistook me with someone else."

I was silent for a few seconds with an irritable face, "Perhaps, your brother? She said Dwight Caster."

"Shit!" He cursed as he looked away, "That's why I cursed the day that we were born with the identical handsomeness."

Jomaico and I both chuckled. It made him turned to look at us and he continued, "I always ended up getting involved with his damn troubles. Most especially with girls."

I chuckled by the thought of having a twin brother is a problem. Good thing that I don't have one.

"Man! You better go to shower now." Jomaico complained as he covered his mouth and nose with his hand.

"Now that you mention it." I mumbled as I walked to the shower room.

I removed my stinky clothes and threw it on the floor before turning on the shower. I let the water wash away the dirty in me as I let my mind wandered.

Why didn't she recognize me? I'm so sure that it was her. And the surprising part, she knew Dwayne. Well technically, his twin brother, Dwight. Is there something happened to her? Or she's just acting that she didn't know me? And for what reason?

I need to fix the problem I started first and talked to her. I really need to know. Something is bothering in me.
