Under the night stars, the three set up a small camp.
"So, you're from another world?" Stelle's eyes widened slightly, feeling a hint of surprise at the Damselette's identity.
Lumine, this golden-haired Damselette, was like her, a visitor from another world.
Most importantly, this Damselette had traveled here on her own accord; in other words, she possessed the technology to traverse worlds.
If she thought about it this way, Lumine might be able to help her find the Railway…
"Yes, an unknown god took my brother, and I was sealed by the god, losing my original power; we, who once traversed many worlds, are now trapped here." Lumine nodded somewhat dejectedly, the bonfire illuminating her face, dyeing her small face with a slight blush.
"Trapped here…" The excitement that had just surged in Stelle's heart gradually subsided, and she finally helplessly stroked her soft gray hair.
In other words, the Damselette in front of her was currently facing the same predicament as her.
"Then, Miss Stelle, what about you?" Lumine carefully looked at Stelle's face; her already flushed small face now seemed even more shy.
For her, characters who could move her so much upon their first meeting were very rare.
Her heart was already calculating how many Primogems she would need to save to take the Damselette in front of her away.
"Just call me Stelle… I'm actually like you, a visitor from another world." Stelle hesitated slightly, then also proactively revealed her background.
"I am a Nameless…"
After an explanation, Lumine and Paimon also roughly understood Stelle's origins.
They didn't seem to doubt her; Stelle didn't know if their acceptance was strong or if people in this world were already used to such things.
"That's truly rare, I actually encountered two people from outside this world in such a short time." Paimon spread his small hands, saying with some emotion.
"So Paimon, do you know the way into the city?" Stelle curiously looked at the white little elf floating there.
"Of course, I'm Teyvat's best guide, leave such a small matter to me!" Paimon puffed out his small chest with great confidence.
"Oh~" Stelle lightly clapped his hands, being very supportive.
"But from the slope of Starsnatch Cliff, you should be able to see Mondstadt in the distance, didn't you notice?" Paimon looked at Stelle with some doubt again.
"…I didn't go to that small slope." Stelle smiled somewhat awkwardly; she had only been focused on that statue, and then she met these two.
"Is that so, it's alright, from here to Mondstadt, it will only take at most one day to walk." Paimon nodded, not paying much attention to it.
"Alright, it's getting late, let's rest." Lumine reached out and pulled Paimon, who was flying in the air, into her arms, and ruffled his head along the way.
"Goodnight, Stelle."
"Ah… Hmm, goodnight." Stelle nodded hesitantly; in truth, she couldn't sleep at all and still wanted to ask Lumine more about traversing worlds.
But since Lumine said so, she couldn't say much more.
…
The night passed without incident.
Camping in the wild, especially without anything, is a very hard thing to do.
Using the sky as a quilt and the ground as a bed sounds simple, but it's not comfortable at all after actually experiencing it.
Fortunately, the weather wasn't too hot or too cold, the climate was mild, and the patch of grass they had stayed on last night was soft enough.
Lumine, however, seemed to have slept very well; she quickly fell asleep under the tree, hugging Paimon.
It seemed they had been living like this for two months; when Lumine talked about their past experiences, she really found it hard to imagine what kind of life these two had been living.
But no matter what, for her, this was after all her first night spent in this world, and she had somewhat struggled to sleep lying on that soft grass last night.
So much so that she was now quite listless, yawning repeatedly.
"Stelle, did you not sleep well last night?" Paimon looked at Stelle with great concern.
"Hmm, these conditions… I'm still not used to them." Stelle rubbed her head.
Her own memories were a bit muddled, but even so, she still knew that she had never slept under such rudimentary conditions.
At the very least, she had always had a house to live in.
"It's okay, as Paimon said, we should be able to rest in the city tonight." Lumine, who had finished her simple wash, walked over and said, looking at the Grey-haired girl's cheek.
Today, she didn't seem to have those strange behaviors of yesterday, but it felt more like she was forcibly restraining her impulses.
Stelle didn't notice this subtle difference.
"Yes, let's set off now; if we walk fast, we won't even have to wait until dark." Paimon looked at the two, a hopeful smile on his small face, "Hehe, once we reach the city, we must have a big feast!"
---
Along the way, Stelle and Lumine chatted intermittently, and she also asked many questions she had wanted to ask yesterday but hadn't had the chance to.
But unfortunately, Lumine's answers were somewhat tight-lipped, and Stelle did not get the answers she wanted.
A look of disappointment unconsciously appeared on her face.
But in Lumine's eyes, she was like a small puppy abandoned by its owner, making Lumine's heart pound.
However, even so, Lumine remained rational; although she didn't know why her heart felt an indescribable stirring towards this Grey-haired girl, after all, they had only met for a short time, and she couldn't trust Stelle one hundred percent.
Some topics that were inconvenient to discuss, she would not say.
"Ah, look!" Paimon, flying ahead, hadn't been paying attention to their conversation and had been silently leading the way, but now he suddenly cried out in surprise.
The two followed Paimon's gaze forward, and not far from them, there seemed to be something strange…
They exchanged glances and, with great tacit agreement, tiptoed to the side of a large tree, where they could perfectly conceal themselves, only peeking out with their heads.
"Don't be afraid… Don't worry, I'm back." The green-clothed Damselette whispered to the giant dragon beside him.
"What is that, a dragon?" Stelle looked at this scene with a slight confusion, asking the person beside her in a low voice.
As a well-traveled Nameless, the sight before her reminded her of things like giant dragons.
In her impression, the Doomsday Beast of the Antimatter Legion also had a similar appearance.
"It's a dragon… Is he talking to a dragon?" Paimon answered Stelle's question, but his own confusion remained unanswered.
Just then, Lumine's hand suddenly glowed with the light of the Anemo element.
The distant dragon also seemed to sense it at that instant, suddenly becoming agitated, letting out a roar, and raising a claw to heavily smash down towards the Damselette.
"Careful!" Stelle's pupils constricted. Her body instinctively summoned her baseball bat, and she rushed in front of the green-clad Damselette, blocking the attack for him.
The green-clad Damselette looked at Stelle with some surprise, clearly astonished by her appearance.
But the current situation didn't allow him to stop and greet her.
He glanced at the golden-haired Damselette in the distance again, and taking advantage of no one paying attention, the green-clad Damselette directly transformed into a gust of wind and vanished from the spot.
And the giant dragon, after its attack was blocked by Stelle, also had no intention of prolonging the fight. It flapped its wings, raising a large amount of dust, and flew into the sky, then disappeared.
