My Girlfriend Is Stronger Than the Demon Lord – Volume 10 (Chapter 10)

The Shadow Clan wasn't subtle.

Before breakfast, the castle alarms blared. Lava fountains erupted in warning. Demons scrambled, shouting orders and flapping wings.

I rubbed my eyes. "Is this… part of normal life here?"

Aria, still in her night robe, yawned and stretched. "Apparently, chaos has a schedule." She grabbed her staff from the corner of the room, which casually reshaped itself into a sword. "Eren… time to meet our guests."

Outside the castle gates, a group of shadowy figures waited, their cloaks fluttering ominously. At the front, a tall, hooded figure stepped forward, revealing eyes that glowed like red embers.

"Battle Goddess Aria," the figure hissed, "we have come to test your rule. Surrender the throne, or we will take it by force."

Aria blinked. Then she smiled. A slow, calm smile that made even the lava fountains pause in awe. "You brought all this effort… for me?"

The shadow warriors tensed.

Aria yawned dramatically. "Fine. I guess I have no choice. But remember—rules first."

Before anyone could react, she flicked her finger. Shadows froze midair. Weapons hovered, suspended like puppets without strings.

I stumbled back. "She… she didn't even move. She just… flicked her finger!"

Aria tilted her head. "Do you want me to make it quick or fun?"

The leader gulped. "Fun…?"

With that, Aria stepped forward. The wind seemed to bend around her, the air shimmering with her power. One stomp, and the ground cracked like glass. One swing of her staff, and the shadow warriors were pinned gently against the castle walls—intact, unharmed, but completely immobilized.

She turned to me, smiling. "Eren, come watch. This is how we handle first-time invaders."

I held her hand tightly, half in awe, half terrified. "I… don't think anyone can ever bother you again."

Aria chuckled. "Maybe. But tomorrow? Who knows what will happen."

And so, once again, my life as boyfriend to the strongest being in existence continued—chaotic, dangerous, and somehow, absolutely perfect.
