Chapter 12 - Attack on The Vectors: Part 2

"Everybody dies some day, My child."

"No."

"What?"

"I'll never die. No matter what."

"You're being unrealistic."

"Unrealistic? You don't know what I'll grow into, Father."

The Supreme Leader walked down the halls of the Prime Minister's Office. In the office, Shin who was holding the approval and the Vice President were waiting for The Supreme Leader. No one else was there as they feared to be in the presence of him.

"It has been a long time since we've seen each other's faces, Shin.", The Supreme Leader said. Shin replied, "I still can't see yours." The Supreme Leader shared a genuine laugh with Shin and The Vice President. He said, "You've always had a sense of humor, Shin." Shin stared at him with disgusted and judgemental eyes.

"Alright, Hand it over. I'll take it and peacefully leave.", The Supreme Leader said. Shin replied, "Shall I speak you name?" The Supreme Leader looked confused for a second but remained stagnant on taking the approval. The Supreme Leader commanded Shin to give the approval once more but he kept on rambling. Shin continuously rambled about stuff that no longer mattered in The Supreme Leader's ruined eyes.

"Enough! Just head to the Academy. You're already too late."

"That pathetic academy... It doesn't deserve me."

"Be careful of what you say."

"My destiny is much greater."

"Your destiny is to get a good fulfilling job through that academy. Nothing else."

"You'll see it. One day. If you're alive."

"Enough! Just give me the approval. I'm already too late.", The Supreme Leader said. Shin replied, "You know what kind of person I am. I will never let someone like you take over the galaxy. Someone like you who would do that to their own father is nowhere near worthy of all the lives in this galaxy."

"Don't play with me, Shin. Impaler is still out there. I can still destroy your precious planet.", The Supreme Leader said. Shin smiled and then said, "That thing probably only works on your command since I know you're someone who would make it function like that." The Supreme Leader said, "Should I be happy that you know me so well?" A deranged look appeared on The Supreme Leader's face and then he took out his blaster. He said, "Hand it over." "No.", Shin replied.

"Then, You shall die."

The Supreme Leader triggered his blaster but nothing happened. A robotic arm came out of Shin's right shoulder and it pointed a Ray gun at The Supreme Leader.

"You underestimate me, Shin."

The gun fired at The Supreme Leader and it created a massive hole in his face causing him to instantly die. His body fell over and Shin released a sigh of relief but he still had to take care of all of Andromedous' Ships so he and the Vice President were immediately on it.

"Ever since I was young, I lived a good life. My mother had died while giving birth to me but my father never let me feel her absence. He did his absolute best to raise me and keep me happy. He took many different jobs throughout the years to earn money for my future. It was obvious that he loved me. No doubt about it. But... Sometimes... When he looked at me, I saw hate. I think it was just my imagination but maybe it wasn't. Maybe, A small part of him resented me for being the reason his wife died. Nonetheless, I was given a good satisfying life. I even got to go to a nice academy when I was old enough and I used to be a smart kid so my future seemed bright. Although... I don't know why but ever since I was a kid, I felt like I didn't like where my life was heading. I felt like something would be missing from my future. Something greater. Something that the galaxy would remember forever. What was it? Why did I feel this way? Was I just an ungrateful brat? Probably. Still... That feeling slowly grew inside me and when I was in my teens, it made me go insane. I started to hate everything and I even started to be mean towards my loving father. It made me feel horrible inside. It hurt me more whenever I did something to hurt him. My life slowly started to fall apart due to my ever growing madness and rudeness towards others. But at one point, It felt like something was sent by the universe to save my life from being completely torn part. When I was 26, I met someone who could understand me. Someone who also always had the same sort of feeling of having something missing from their future. Someone who I could freely talk about my problems with. I killed him and then I killed my father."
