After killing his father, Gridlock began walking towards The Drifters' spaceship. After going in, he said, "Kid, Is Arsa okay?" Finn replied, "Yeah she-" Arsa said, "I'm fine."
Gridlock said, "Good. I'm glad." Arsa said, "I'm glad you're okay too. Now, please take me home." Finn said, "Alright... I guess everything's settled now and we can go back to our regular goals." Gridlock said, "Wait, you two. Let's just not." Finn said, "What do you mean, Mr. James?" Gridlock said, "This is gonna sound bad but let's leave everything behind to go after a greater purpose." Arsa said, "What? No! I wanna go home!" Finn said, "I don't understand either."
Gridlock said, "Look... I'm obviously not gonna force the two of you but just listen. I want to stop Andromedous." Finn said, "How could anyone possibly stop them?" Arsa, while confused, said, "Why would you wanna stop them? Their purpose is to bring unity and peace to our galaxy." Gridlock said, "That's what they want you to believe... In reality, they want to control the galaxy. Since the beginning, they've been forcefully taking approvals from the ten chosen planets. Me and the kid already knew this but I've discovered even more about them. They've been turning their victims from the chosen planets into slaves. As a former slave myself, I can't stand that. Not long ago, I wouldn't have cared but my time with you two where I saw both of your struggles has humanized me once more."
Finn said, "Mr. James, you were a slave?" Gridlock said, "Yes." Finn and Arsa became awkwardly silent. Gridlock said, "So, are you two joining me?" Finn said, "When I first left for outer space, it was to catch you. I wanted to capture you immediately and go home to enjoy my royalty. I was a spoiled brat who didn't care for the sufferings of others but you've changed me, Mr. James. You taught me to understand the pain that others were going through while I was living care-free as the son of a king. I'm willing to leave behind my royal status to join you, Mr. James. Even if it means not going back to my family, I'll do it to protect others alongside you."
Gridlock said, "Thank you, Finn. What about you, Arsa?" Arsa said, "When I crash landed on that desert planet, I would have definitely killed myself to join my comrades. But you were there and you told me that I should live for them if I truly loved them. You saved me. You fixed our ship and got us out of there. I am so thankful for what you did for a stranger like myself. With all that said, I cannot join you. My mental health is still in bad condition and I wouldn't be of any help even if I did join you. I wish to just go back to my home and cure myself."
Gridlock said, "I understand that completely, Arsa. Me and Finn will take you home immediately and also, you don't need to thank me."
After their talk, Gridlock started piloting the ship and they headed towards Arsa's home planet of "Meysonia".
After a few days, the spaceship arrived near Meysonia. Finn, while looking out a window, said, "Wow... Your home planet's beautiful, Arsa." Arsa replied, "Thank you, Finn. It is really beautiful. That's why it gets so many tourists."
Meysonia had a gorgeous pink atmosphere which always mesmerized travellers from outer space. The spaceship eventually landed on Meysonia and Gridlock, Finn and Arsa started walking out.
Gridlock said, "This is definitely one of the more prettier planets I've seen." Arsa replied, "I'm glad you think so, Gridlock." Finn said, "Well, I guess this is goodbye. It was fate that brought us together, Arsa. If it weren't for your crash landing, Me and Mr. James would have died long ago on that desert planet." Arsa said, "Can't you two drop by my house and eat something before you go?" Gridlock said, "Sure. Let's go, kid." Finn said, "Alright!"
After reaching Arsa's house, the gang enjoyed a wonderful fliborian meal. They talked about whatever random things that came into their mind. At that moment, the actual content didn't even matter. All they needed to do was have fun.
After a couple of hours, Gridlock and Finn were ready to say goodbye.
Gridlock said, "I hope we manage to somehow meet again. You're a good kid, Arsa. Don't lose hope and keep on going forward. I'm sure you'll find people you can love again. Also, I promise to take great care of this ship." Finn said, "Take care, Arsa... I'll miss you."
Arsa replied, "Goodbye, you two. I won't forget your kind words."
Gridlock stepped into the ship first and when he did, Arsa kissed Finn on the lips. She said, "Stay safe. The journey you're about to start will be a dangerous one." Finn said, "I will do what I must and then I'll come back to you. I promise." Arsa said, "I'll be waiting..."
After that, Finn went aboard the ship as well. He and Gridlock were now off to defeat Andromedous.
When Arsa was just about to go inside her house again, Toe Beng suddenly showed up. He said, "So... The Demigord has finally returned..."
Finn said, "So, what's the first step?" Gridlock said, "At first, I'll track tin which I left in that one Andromedous Spacestaion." Finn said, "Tin?" Gridlock replied, "My ship, kid." Finn said, "Oh yeah... But, how will you track it?" Gridlock replied, "We gotta go to the gal that gave it to me..."
