Chapter 7 - Death of The Drifters

Outside Sundra's orbit, a space battle was going on. A powerful spaceship belonging to a man named "Ermi Floater" was attacking a spaceship belonging to a space gang called "The Drifters".

"Our spaceship is one laser away from being completely ruined!", Mark said. Arsa replied, "Well then, make sure we don't get hit again!" Lily screamed, "Ermi, you're the biggest scumbag in the galaxy! Just leave us alone!"

Ermi kept on shooting lasers at The Drifters and they kept on avoiding it. But eventually, the final laser managed to hit. "NO! NO! NO!", Mark and Lily screamed. Arsa said, "We're done for..."

Ermi smiled.

The Drifters crash landed into Sundra. Finn and Gridlock were still there suffering. In the corner of his eye, Gridlock saw it. He saw The Drifters' ship crashing into Sundra. This gave him hope.

"Kid, Run! Run!", Gridlock screamed. Finn, while confused, replied, "What?" Gridlock said, "Run to the spaceship crashing over there, kid. This is our last hope." Even with the unbelievably low energy they both had, they sprinted as fast as they could to the crashed spaceship.

After The Drifters crashed, Arsa woke up. "How am I alive?", She said. While confused, she started looking around and saw Mark and Lily. They had died. Looking at their dead bodies caused Arsa to immediately break down and start crying. She felt immense pain physically and mentally. Her body could barely move. Though, one thing made her feel better. "At least, I will be with them soon enough.", She said.

Gridlock and Finn came closer and closer until they finally reached the crashed spaceship. There, they saw the two dead bodies and Arsa crying. They didn't know what to say. Finn said, "Umm, hello?" Gridlock rolled his eyes upon hearing that from Finn.

Arsa looked over to them and got scared as she was completely defenseless. "Who are you two!? Leave me alone! Get away from here! Ermi sent you, didn't he?!", She said while in utter panic. Gridlock, in his head, said, "Ermi?" Finn, while trying to calm her down, said, "Relax, we mean you no harm. Actually, we came here to ask for your help since we are lost here with no way to get away from this planet." Arsa said, "Are you blind? Do I look like someone who can help you?" Gridlock said to her, "I can fix this ship. We can all get outta here if you just let me." Arsa said, "You can take this ship and fix it or do whatever you want. I have no desire to live any longer... Just let me die here." Hearing those words reminded Gridlock of his childhood. He got angry.

Gridlock said, "So what? You're just gonna let yourself die cause two of your friends here did? That's pathetic. If you truly cared for them, you would live for them." Finn said, "What the hell are you saying?!" "Shut up, kid.", Gridlock replied. Arsa, while being completely offended, said, "How dare you say that to me!? You know nothing about us! They were everything to me! What the hell kind of person are you to say that to a person who just agreed to help you?!" Gridlock sighed, "The sane kind. Sometimes, I feel like I'm the only one left in this galaxy."

Arsa shouted, "Just shut up! Take this goddamn ship and let me die in peace!" Gridlock said to Finn, "Kid, go try to heal her wounds a bit with this ointment." Finn said, "Where did you get this?" Gridlock replied, "It was in Zlepblorg's pocket so I kept it in mine." Finn, while confused, said, "Who the hell is Zlepblorg?" Gridlock said, "It doesn't matter, Kid. Just go heal her up, will you?" Finn said, "Alright."

Finn started to heal Arsa's wounds while she was still trying to resist and Gridlock started to work on fixing the ship.

Ermi returned to his slave labour camp situated on the planet, "Vorjinn Prime", and said, "Today was a good day." One of his employees came into his room and said, "Sir, the slave that was supposed to bring the mined Raxo crystals back to base fainted on the way here." Ermi, while annoyed said, "Goddamn it, these slaves are getting so useless nowadays." The employee replied, "Yes sir, I agree. These new ones the market is selling just don't compare to the ones we had back then. They were much more efficient."

Ermi replied, "Definitely, Especially that one slave we had that was called Gridlock."
