As my consciousness began to surface from the deepest part of my slumber, I became aware of the gentle light casting its pattern on the walls of the room. The sounds of the birds chirping and the sound of the morning breeze graced my body as it signaled a new day. The warmth of the blanket covering our bodies brought warmth and comfortability.
I slowly opened my eyes looking up at the ceiling. It's a Sunday so most of the students stayed in their beds longer and that includes the two ladies with me. I slowly got up and quietly left the bed without waking them up.
After last night's ordeal, they won't be getting up till later. With that thought, I proceeded to clean up the mess yesterday and picked up the clothes on the floor. I put them aside and had a couple of Shadow Knights mop up the floor. While they were moping, I hopped in the shower and cleaned up refreshed. By the time I finished, the floor had been cleaned up.
I headed to the cafeteria after Shadow Exchanging there. I asked the cooks if I could use the kitchen to make some food. The cooks agreed and were happy to see a student take up some cooking. After thirty minutes, I made three batches of an apple risotto with two slices of bacon, three batches of souffle omelettes and three glasses of orange juice.
The cooks were amazed with the amount of skill they saw when I was cooking. They complimented that I could start a restaurant with the quality of food I made as well as the skills I performed. I thanked them and smiled telling them I would think about it. I then packed the breakfasts away and stored them in my Shadow Storage as time is static inside so it will come out the same as the time I put the food in. I bid the cooks farewell and left the kitchen.
I walked to a corner before Shadow Exchanging back to Wednesday and Enid's room. Seeing as the girls are still sleeping, I took out a chair and sat down with a book in hand as the sunlight enveloping my being. Despite being the master of Shadows and the Dead, I still enjoy the gentle light. Perhaps the reason for that enjoyment was because the core of Ashborn's power when he was a Ruler was the Light before he fell to the Shadows. Either way, it's a very comfortable morning.
After a couple of hours later, both girls started to stir from their sleep. Slowly but surely, they opened their eyes in confusion wondering why they were in the same bed together. Wednesday and Enid looked around in a half-asleep expression till they saw Y/N reading a book with a tranquil atmosphere surrounding him.
Noticing the girls' gaze, I looked up and greeted them with a smile, "Did you sleep well, my loves?"
As if struck by lightning, they both recalled what happened last night and in great detail. They panicked and ran towards the bathroom and started cleaning up and showered while I chuckled at their actions. I returned to my book waiting for them to finish their morning routine.
Half an hour passed by, and both Wednesday and Enid came out of the bathroom in casual clothes with red faces. Most likely still thinking about what had happened last night. Smiling, I closed my book and stood up and walked towards them.
I looked them in the face and gently touched their cheeks and said, "Did you enjoy your reward last night?"
Both nodded meekly and Wednesday replied gently, "It was...an amazing reward, Y/N. I loved every second of it. I..um..what does this make us?"
Wednesday was not used to these emotions yet but she's gradually getting better at managing them. Enid also had the same question in mind.
I took them both in my arms and whispered, "It means you're both mine now, my little raven and my little wolf. The same applies to me as I am both yours."
I held them close as they processed that information.
Enid couldn't keep her excitement and started rubbing her face all over my chest and cheered, "Oh my God! Oh my God! OH MY GOD!!! Y/N I love you too!! I've been in love with you for so long. I've been giving you so many hints but I thought you didn't notice them. This is such a dream come true!! YIPPIE!!"
Wednesday on the side was showing the brightest smile I've ever seen since I met her before returning to her deadpan expression and was gripping my shirt and leaned closer and said, "That settles it. You're mine now and I'm yours. We will always be by each other's side. But make no mistake; if you ever dump me, I will hunt you down to the ends of the Earth. Got it, Y/N?"
I chuckled at Wednesday's remarks and said, "You'll never get rid of me that easy, Wednesday. We'll always be together. You and Enid are mine now and as such my responsibilities for your future."
After the two calmed down, their stomachs started rumbling. They held their stomachs with embarrassment and I laughed a bit before my stomach rumbled as well. Silence was all there was before Enid laughed and Wednesday chuckled at the irony.
We all laughed and I brought out a table and chairs to the balcony from my Shadow Storage and told them, "Okay. Okay, you two had your laughs. I made some breakfast for us while you were still sleeping so I hope you like it."
I took out the breakfast I made earlier and set them on the table along with some utensils. The girls looked astonished at the breakfast I brought out like it was just made since they were still steaming fresh. They gulped in anticipation as they quickly sat down and took their first bites.
As the flavour hit, they immediately felt rejuvenated as it gave a sweet yet tarty taste from the apple risotto. They also took a bite out of the souffle omelette, it felt like they just took a bite out of a cloud as it was soft, springy, and bouncy. It just melted in their mouths.
I just smiled gently enjoying the sight of my food being eaten. I also started eating and finished pretty quickly while the two girls are still savouring every bite. I looked out the distance as the gentle morning filled the surrounding forest.
Ten minutes had passed by quickly and both girls finished their breakfast and drank their orange juice. The two looked at Y/N with appreciative eyes for making them breakfast after yesterday's ordeal.
Enid asked, "Y/N, I didn't know you could cook. The food was soooo tasty and delish. I wish I took a picture before I ate it so I could post it on my Instagram."
Wednesday also commented, "Indeed, it was truly delicious and woke us up with vigor. How did you learn to cook? I'm quite intrigued, Mon Cheri~"
I replied to both of them, "I'm self-taught, my dear. It took me many trial and error before I could cook this well. Don't worry, I'll cook your meals as long as you request it. Of course, I'm willing to teach you both personally should you prefer it that way."
Wednesday agreed with a soft smile while Enid was energetic and excited to learn to cook. This peaceful atmosphere continued throughout the day and before long, night had fallen and classes will start again tomorrow. Wednesday and Enid were a bit reluctant to let me leave since they just started dating.
I calmed them down with a kiss to both letting them know that I will see them again tomorrow morning. They both smiled at me and returned the favour with each one longer than the other. I told them good night and left Ophelia Hall with a smile on my face.
I Shadow Exchanged back to my room and called upon Igris and the Shadow Knights for an update. The Shadow Knights reported there were no changes with the cave as well as the burnt down barn. Rowan's Shadow only reported that the area where he was killed was cordoned off as it is littered with cops and hound dogs.
The Shadow Knights patrolling the Gates' Mansion also did not see any changes so it is still a dead-end. I relayed to them to continue to patrol in case something happens this week. After the altercation with Tyler, he seemed to go into hiding to recuperate. Until he shows up again, there won't be any leads to go on after.
"I hope there won't be any deaths this week," I thought to myself.
Sure enough, the week went by smoothly. Wednesday and Enid enjoyed their newfound love and made sure to keep any other girls away from me as they staked their claim over me. Not that I minded but I also did the same for Enid and Wednesday.
I made sure to keep Xavier away as he seemed to have bad ideas towards Wednesday while I didn't really need to do much for Enid as she was friends with almost everyone being the Gossip Queen of Nevermore.
This whole cycle of enjoying each other's company continued for two months with no incidents and just went to school like normal students. It was announced in the morning while we were at the Quad that Parents' Weekend will be held the upcoming weekend and both Wednesday and Enid had downcast expressions.
Looking at their expressions, I thought, "I guess they don't have good impressions of their families."
I just pet their hairs calming them down. Throughout the weekdays, they had anxiety on their faces thinking of ways to not see their families but there was nothing they could do as Principal Weems had personally invited their families to talk about the old times as well as recent incidents concerning the two girls. All I could do was calm down the girls for the upcoming event.
The week went by quickly as it is the start of the weekend. As such Parent's Weekend had started, with all kinds of people or outcasts started pouring into Nevermore. I'm up on the balcony looking at the crowd while I see some students on the other side lamenting the arrival of their parents. From across the second floor, I see Xavier talking with Bianca. It looked like their parents weren't coming either from their downcast expressions.
I looked down and saw both Wednesday and Enid close to the entrance of the Quad, I walked my way down to them. I was behind them before I grabbed their waists as they both looked back at me with surprise.
I told them, "Would you both like to introduce me to your families later when they arrive? After all, I'm forever yours."
Both Wednesday and Enid calmed down slightly but now their faces are red from the blush that surged up there. They both nodded and told him that they'll introduce them to their families later.
A couple hours after Parent's Weekend started, both Wednesday's and Enid's families arrived. They were received by Principal Weems with smiles on her face.
Wednesday grabbed my arm and told Enid, "I'll introduce Y/N first while you catch up with your family. I'll let Y/N go to you after a while."
Enid nodded and went to her family. Wednesday let go my arm and told me to follow her to her family. I followed Wednesday and stood next to her as her dad was giving her a big hug.
Morticia asked, "How are you, my little rain cloud?"
Wednesday quips back, "I thought Thing was filling you in on my every move."
Gomez turned to the side in embarrassment as well as Pugsly. Morticia was out of words.
Wednesday continued, "I uncovered your feeble subterfuge almost immediately."
Gomez asked nervously, "How's the little fella doing? Does he still have all his fingers?"
"Relax. I haven't snapped any of his digits. Yet.," Wednesday replied.
Both Morticia and Gomez let out a sigh of relief.
Morticia said, "So tell us everything."
Wednesday looked back at me and then back to Morticia and replied, "Since you've abandoned me, I've been hunted, haunted, and the target of an attempted murder. I also found Mon Cheri in this dreary academy."
Gomez, Morticia, and Pugsly looked wide-eyed at Wednesday and me as they did not expect this news.
Gomez asked me, "Are you the person who melted my little viper's black heart?"
I held out my hand to Gomez and replied, "Yes, I am. My name is Y/N Ashborn, Mr. Addams. I had the pleasure of grasping Wednesday's dark heart into my own. I believe we complement each other quite nicely."
Gomez grasped my hand and excitedly told me, "Wonderful, my little viper has sunk her fangs into you, young Y/N. I do believe in my daughter's choice as I did with Morticia."
Morticia looked at Wednesday for any deceit but couldn't find any fault.
"It seems like Wednesday had truly taken a liking to this young man," Morticia thought.
Morticia also held out her hand and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Y/N. Not anyone can tame our little rain cloud without fatal injuries. I'm truly glad she found a stable support in her life."
As I lightly held Morticia's hand, Morticia was having a vision of her own as her psychic powers had activated despite her control over them. She saw the purple eyes emanating in the dark looking at her yet she did not feel malice towards her. She then recovered and saw that she was still holding my right hand.
Morticia let go of my hand and walked back to Wednesday's side. I also introduced myself to Pugsly.
He asked if I was gonna be his brother and I only replied, "Maybe."
I teased him a little and whispered to Wednesday, "Just trying to be mysterious."
Wednesday rolled her eyes at my remark but still held my hand in front of her parents. I continued to talk to Gomez and Pugsly while Morticia was having her own conversation with Wednesday away from them.
Morticia was telling Wednesday the difference between psychics, the Dove and the Raven. Doves tend to see the more positive side of visions while Ravens tend to see the darker truth of the matter. Morticia asked Wednesday if she had any visions about Y/N.
Thinking about the time Y/N held me for the first time, she told her mother she saw a pair of blue eyes emanating with power in the dark yet not hostile to her. Morticia was shocked to say the least as she had the same vision as Wednesday except it was purple eyes instead of blue. It seemed that despite being a Dove or a Raven made insignificant changes in the interpretation of the vision both mother and daughter shared.
Morticia relayed the same vision to Wednesday and was shocked as well but quickly calmed down as she knew the true powers Y/N held. Morticia only warned Wednesday to be careful and to take care of herself and Y/N. It is not everyday you meet a young man in love with her daughter as she made a vow not to fall in love when she was first dropped at Nevermore.
Meanwhile my conversation with Gomez and Pugsly were more casual as they were wondering how I captured Wednesday's heart. I told them I only listened and encouraged her to be herself free from outside interference.
She truly bloomed as a rose with thorns protecting her very being. Both Gomez and Pugsly were dumbfounded at my response yet they smiled and supported me in being with Wednesday. After a few more conversations with them, I told Wednesday I would look for Enid as she would probably need my help soon.
Wednesday nodded and gave me a kiss on the cheek telling me she would come find him and Enid later. All members of the Addams Family were a little surprised at Wednesday's boldness but they expected nothing less from her. I smiled at Wednesday and excused myself.
Walking to the other side of the Quad, Enid was having a hard time dealing with her mother and her brother. Her father seems to be understanding of Enid's plight but doesn't have the spine to confront his wife about the matter.
Her brothers are unruly with no discipline at all and continued to embarrass Enid. Without any thinking any further, I went straight to Enid to relieve her anxiety and confront her family.
Noticing my presence, Enid looked back and smiled in relief for the timely rescue.
As I got in front of Enid's parents, Enid pulled on my arm and told them, "Everyone, this is Y/N. He is my mate and alpha of my pack."
As soon as Enid finished talking, her mother and werewolf brothers looked at Enid and then to me with anger in their eyes. Her father was surprised but happy for her daughter instead. It seemed like he can finally relax and be relieved that Enid had grown up and is with someone who cherishes her. Despite the anger emanating from Enid's mother and brothers, they still care for Enid's wellbeing in their own feral way.
Before Enid's mother and brothers pounced on me, I release a huge burst of magical energy towards the sky. Everyone from the Quad turned their eyes to our location as curiosity and disbelief filled their faces. The amount of magical energy was enough to change the weather from sunny skies to dark clouds hovering over Nevermore.
I kept releasing my magical energy for a couple more minutes before slowly dissipating to calm down Enid's family from making a violent mistake. Speaking of said family, they looked frozen in shock and finally relieved the person Enid chose for a mate was very powerful. Powerful enough to protect her from harm.
On the other side with Wednesday and her family, Gomez and Morticia were horrified by the power I released while Pugsly had a worshipped look in his eyes. Wednesday just smirked as she had known about her Mon Cheri's power first hand. From the looks of it, Y/N pacified Enid's family and should be finishing up soon.
After that magical surge from Y/N, Enid thought, "OMG!! My alpha is so strong!! I can't wait to have his babies! I think my mom will calm down now about me wolfing out and my brothers shouldn't tease me!! YIPPIE~! <3 My hero~!!" Enid's thoughts are all over the place after my display of power.
I told Enid's mother, "I truly cherish Enid and chose her as my own. I understand you are only trying to help her be normal by making sure she won't end up alone if she couldn't wolf out. But regardless whether she would or not, I will be by her side protecting her from the world."
Hearing those words from my mouth, Enid's parents looked at each other and nodded in agreement. The brothers looked back with reverence from the power I unleashed earlier thinking of ways to become part of Enid's pack.
With all that said and done, I looked towards Enid and kissed her cheek before telling her to find me and Wednesday later after getting along with her family. Enid smiled brightly and gave me a huge hug and returned the kiss on the cheek. I went on my own way and grabbed some food to eat.
After a couple of hours, Wednesday and Enid had time to spend time with their families and updated them on what had been going on lately. Suddenly the doors leading to the Quad opened, police officers were entering with Sheriff Galpin leading. They headed to Wednesday and her family.
Sheriff Galpin shouted, "Gomez Addams."
Gomez turned to the sheriff and asked, "How can I help you, Sheriff?"
Sheriff Galpin cuffed Gomez and replied, "You're under arrest for the murder of Garrett Gates. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed for you."
As they took Gomez away, I looked over to Wednesday and her family worried for them. Enid looked over as well and looked back at me. I shook my head at Enid signaling her that it is not the time to go over.
After the arrest of Gomez Addams, I walked over to Wednesday and her family. I looked at Wednesday and told her I would send the Shadow Knights to investigate around town. I also told her if she could find any clues from her mother seeing how shocked and distraught she is currently.
Wednesday agreed to my plan as she was already thinking of interrogating her mother for the truth of the matter. I sent a signal to the Shadow Knights around town to scout for any information that might prove useful to prove Gomez's innocence as well as keeping an eye on the Weathervane in case Tyler shows up again.
I went over to Enid and told her the situation so she wouldn't worry. She told me to be careful and to tell Wednesday she would be here when she needed her. I smiled and agreed to tell Wednesday her words.
A few hours passed by and unfortunately my investigation proved fruitless but Wednesday seemed to have made a breakthrough. Apparently, both Wednesday and Morticia went to dig up Garrett Gates' coffin but got caught in the process.
I paid a visit to the holding cells only to see both Morticia and Gomez sucking each others' faces between the bars. I can see Wednesday getting uncomfortably annoyed by the second.
She commented on her parents, "I've seen jackals with more self-control than you two."
She turned to me with delight in her eyes and said, "It seems like my father's murder case will come to an end in the morning."
She presented a severed finger to her mother, "Garrett died from nightshade poisoning. Not from you, mother."
I smirked and said to Wednesday, "I guess you didn't need my help on this one. I was going to bring the mayor here but I'm assuming you have a plan in mind already?"
Wednesday nodded and replied, "Indeed, I believe I can have all charges dropped from this evidence and a deal with the mayor."
"All right then, I will be waiting for you outside in the morning, Mi Cuervo.", I returned with a kiss and held her cheek.
Wednesday smiled and looked happy at Y/N for his trust of judgement. I slowly left the holding cells and Shadow Exchanged back to Nevermore. I also updated Enid and both just stayed together waiting for Wednesday's release tomorrow.
The night passed quickly as both Enid and I went to sleep together in her own room. I rarely sleep in my own room since I have started being with Wednesday and Enid. I slowly opened my eyes only to see Enid peacefully nestled on my chest still sleeping.
I also went back to sleep for half an hour more before getting up. I stirred up Enid from her sleep, still feeling groggy. I got ready in the shower and Enid slowly followed. After taking an hour inside the bathroom, we finally got ready for the day and headed to Jericho's Town Hall waiting for Wednesday and her parents' release.
I headed to the Weathervane to grab some pastries and some coffee for both me and Enid as well as Wednesday's Quad. I'm pretty sure Wednesday will be a tad hungry staying in the holding cells all night.
After waiting for an hour, both Enid and I saw Wednesday leave the Town Hall with her mother in tow. We gave them space for them to talk. In a little while, Gomez and Sheriff Galpin came out as well with both of them shaking hands.
A big family hug occurred with Gomez initiating it. I smiled at their family interactions thinking of my own family situation in the previous life. Enid slowly grasped my hand smiling at me. I comforted her and got out of my thoughts only wishing for my previous family's well-being.
Wednesday got out the family hug and headed towards us. Wednesday gave me a tight hug and french kissed me for a few minutes before letting go. Both our faces were red from the lack of air before Enid did the same to me as Wednesday.
"I guess Enid got jealous," I thought in my head.
Wednesday's family looked equally shocked as they only knew Wednesday was with this young man. It seemed like both Wednesday and this other girl are sharing Y/N to be his partner.
Thinking of Wednesday's character, they chose to believe their daughter's vision and blessed their relationship. I gave Wednesday her Quad and some pastries to munch on before heading back to Nevermore as today is the last of Parents' Weekend.
Wednesday and Enid were bidding farewell to their families while I went to Principal Weems to inform her of my recent discoveries. I informed her that the monster is now confirmed to be Tyler Galpin. He seemed to be lying low after the battle that occurred between him and me, which led to Tyler losing an arm. I presented the severed arm to Principal Weems.
She only glanced at it before telling me to take it back. I also informed her of my recent suspicion on Ms. Thornhill for stalking me during the night Rowan died. I only confirmed her stalking activities after having class with her.
Principal Weems seems to be in thought and told me she would finalise the current evidence and provide a case to the Mayor after more concrete evidence is acquired. I could only nod in agreement with her arrangements. She also informed me about the upcoming Rave'n dance coming next weekend and hoped I would attend. I told her I would and hope nothing goes wrong. I headed out of Principal Weem's office and went to the Quad to chat with others passing time before Wednesday and Enid found me.
Wednesday and Enid were together heading towards me and asked to go for a walk around the campus. I agreed and said goodbye to the others I was talking with. Both Wednesday and Enid held my arm on each side and took me away. We all spent the rest of the day together and night had fallen quickly.
We all head back to Wednesday and Enid's room by Shadow Exchange. I led the two to the balcony as I pulled out a small table and a couple chairs for the girls. I had one of the Shadow Knights pour some drinks for the ladies. I once again pulled out my piano and played Night Changes by One Direction.
The melody of the piano echoes all over the balcony and to the surrounding areas. Every key of the piano sets off its own story of the fleeting and unpredictable nature of life. It reminded listeners of a night filled with unexpected twists and turns to embrace new experiences and stepping out of your own comfort zone; to embrace the present without dwelling on the past or worrying about the future with no regrets. As the song ends, it tells that no matter how fast the night passes, the connection and bonds will remain constant.
I looked over to Wednesday and Enid who were still reminiscing from the song that ended. I walked over to the girls and kissed their foreheads snapping them out of their stupor.
Enid said, "Your piano performance is still the best, Y/N!!"
Wednesday chimed in, "Agreed, it was wonderful."
I smiled and thanked them, "I'm glad it is to your liking, my loves."
Thinking about the upcoming Rave'n dance, I continued, "Would you two like to go to the Rave'n dance with me?"
I looked at their expressions with Enid becoming increasingly excited while Wednesday started to smirk with an evil plan in mind.
They both said, "Yes!"
The girls looked at each other and with the same thought looked back at me. Both Wednesday and Enid pounced while taking me back to their room and it was their turn to take control. Their lust-filled eyes and their smiles started to blur as the night incursion commenced till the next day. Only they themselves will remember what happened that night.
