Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Isn't It Common Sense for Archers to Dump All Points into Strength?

Psycho!

Daredevil finally got it.

The guy was a total nutjob, lost in his own twisted reality!

"You're a killer. You belong behind bars!"

Daredevil snarled, rage barely contained.

Daniel smirked. "Never done time. If not for faction locks, I'd test the wanted system—GTA vibes in Los Santos."

Daredevil's gut twisted.

Lives meant nothing. Laws were a joke.

He had to end this!

Daredevil vaulted off the lamppost. Mid-air, his billy club whipped toward Daniel!

BANG!

A bullet smacked it mid-flight!

But Daredevil landed right in front of him, yanking the clubs back via chain. He charged at blinding speed!

BANG! BANG!

Daniel fired twice.

Daredevil's wrists blurred. Clang! Clang! Bullets ricocheted off the clubs.

"A stick stops bullets?"

Daniel arched a brow.

Superhero game logic. Fair enough.

Daredevil closed in, clubs thrusting!

Close range would neuter the gun.

He prepped his "Six-Strikes-in-a-Second"...

"Muay Thai Warning!"

Daniel roared, knee exploding into Daredevil's ribs like a sledgehammer!

[Skill: Muay Thai Warning]

[Effect: Max-level Muay Thai]

[Note: One warning. Next? Full combo.]

Daredevil reeled, ribs cracking, breath stolen.

He kicked Daniel's gut for leverage, flipping back.

Daniel holstered his Eagle, dropped into Muay Thai stance, grinning: "Bold move, rushing a Strength-maxed archer."

Daredevil hadn't known.

God-tier shooter with melee godstats? Insane!

Mistake.

He clutched his side—bones fractured. Posture wrecked.

Daniel teased: "Rough night, Lawyer Matt? Hemorrhoids acting up?"

"!!!"

Daredevil froze but played cool. "What?"

"Title's floating: Matt Murdock."

The blind lawyer from morning.

Matt's face darkened.

No sensory ping overhead, yet this guy nailed his ID after one meet.

Never told Foggy either.

Daniel tsked. "Day: courtroom shark. Night: spandex perv in sweaty grapples. Wild duality."

Matt: "..."

Crimefighting! Not... that.

"But how's a blind dude this sharp?" Daniel probed.

Eyes were legit dead, yet he out-Agiled normals.

"Not your business."

Cold admission.

No more masks—guy knew.

Daniel shrugged: "Spill, and your 'hobby' stays secret. Deal?"

Not a hobby!

Matt weighed it.

"Fine."

"I see via hyper-senses: air shifts, object vibes... Drop the bird. Told you I feel it."

"Uh, just testing."

Daniel lowered his finger, pity flashing.

Ultra-sensitive. Bedroom woes incoming.

Matt ignored the weird stare.

He gritted through rib fire: "Daniel, you're a lawbreaker. Surrender now."

Daniel laughed: "What crime?"

"Murder." Matt nodded at Hammerhead's corpse.

Daniel feigned shock: "Lies! I'm no killer. He's napping!"

Matt: "..."

Blood everywhere! Nap?

Daniel scoffed: "Gang scum like him? Ruins lives. Thousand deaths too few. Courts? Slap on wrist, early parole with fancy lawyers."

Matt ground teeth.

Lawyer truth stung.

"Law judges all!" Matt shot back.

Daniel leaned in: "What if he killed Foggy? Still law?"

Matt nodded: "Justice prevails."

"And if I killed Foggy?"

Eyes deadly serious.

Matt's pulse spiked.

Steady heartbeat—no bluff.

Wrong answer = instant regret.

Daniel lost interest at the silence.

Knife to throat changes tunes fast.

Saber flashed in hand. Slashed Hammerhead's neck clean!

Evidence? Gone.

Matt roared: "Stop—!"

"See ya, Lawyer Matt."

Daniel waved, vanishing with the head.

Alley left: stunned Matt, headless body.
