IMPORTANT A/N: I edited this last chapter but check the Auxiliary chapters for an important update and plan for the future.
Time skip — ~2 hour later
Moving down the road and keeping my eyes peeled, I come across two homesteads. Looking further down the road I see what would later be called the Raided Farmstead and directly to my right…Wolfhorn Ranch…Ulysses' old home. Pulling Umbra to a stop before turning and heading up the hill to it. It only took me a few minutes to get to the house, dismounting, I came to the front of it. Looking at the home, it was constructed from scrap metal and wood.
"Damn, didn't know you lived like this, Ulysses." I said, trying to open the front door-
*Woosh- KURBAM!*
"HAHA! Nice try Ulysses!" I laugh, having ducked out of the way of a shotgun trap in front of the door. Opening what was left of the door, I find…nothing, there's nothing inside the house. Not that I expected everything from the game to be in their exact place, but this is weird. I checked both the radio and the Mojave drive in and the satellite wasn't there, the feat of preventing Camp Searchlights destruction even though that should have happened months ago, and here there was supposed to be a lot of raiders around the place along with stuff in the house. But there was nothing, just the basics.
Not even a place to cook anything. There was a bed frame, a table and a chair, a dresser with nothing in it, but nothing else. 'Guess he really didn't want to leave anything behind…or he just gave it to the people at the ranch down the road.' I think, walking back out of the house, grabbing the shotgun from the trap on the way. Looking around for a scrap piece of wood, I find a small broken plank. Picking it up and lighting the end on fire with [Holy Flame], I toss it into the house, stepping back and remounting Umbru.
"You love The Divide so much? Then I'll get rid of the only place you have to come back to in the Mojave, no need to thank me, just being neighborly." I say, watching the whole place go up in flames in a few minutes. Looking further down the road, I see people coming out of the homestead, looking over at me before hurrying back inside. Using [High Specs] I ran through my memories to try and remember anything about them, but only came up with small bits here and there. Only remembering that they were attacked by a group of raiders, probably the Jackals, since they should've been further towards Primm yet aren't.
Thinking of everything that's around here, there was a Legion Raid Camp almost directly to the North. Deciding to go check it out, I headed back down the hill and followed the road up North. Not before taking out some seeds and tossing them around towards the farmstead using [Create Water] to send them further.
Time skip — ~30 minutes later
Feeling out both [Create Water] and [Holy Flame], I come to an understanding…they pull from my stamina. I haven't noticed because I don't use [Create Water] for anything other than just drinking water or short bursts of water attacks. I just got [Holy Flame], so I am glad I noticed this now rather than in a fight. Though, if I need to use these for anything other than just utility, I'm in deep trouble. I'll have to test out how much stamina they use based on how much of it I use.

Having it be part of the combat synergies is something that'll help with learning it though. It's odd though, as soon as I made the full synergy for both of them it felt…full. Like, if I tried to add another to them it wouldn't…'fit'.
Ding! Good catch user, synergies can't exceed the full number of ability slots available! Like stated before, you need to gain 10 abilities from the gacha so you can increase your ability and synergy slots!
"Good to know, I could guess that from the feeling, but good to know." I say, looking around before checking the map on my Pip-Boy to see where I am exactly. Seeing that I'm approximately where you should be to just move straight across to the Legion Raid Camp from the road, I dismount Umbra. Grabbing the RCW laser rifle I make my way to the camp, since my Service Rifle is out of ammo. As I walk I familiarize myself with the RCW, just to make sure I know exactly how it works.
It only took a few minutes for me to walk over to the camp's location, coming up on a ledge overlooking the camp itself. Getting low and crawling up, I find a makeshift camp full of vastly different looking people. There was a lot happening, though I could see a basic map carved into the dirt next to the fire, looking a lot like the farm I just left.
"Caught you before you had a chance it seems, good for me I guess." I say, moving back a bit to make a basic plan. Running through my memories and [Expert Ninjutsu] my mind finds a few things to help distract and destroy this group. Starting with the distraction, a basic diversion technique called the drip rifle. You just anchor the rifle in place, place a tin can above another that is tied below and left to hang, before tying that one to the rifle's trigger. You fill the top can with water, leaving the bottom can empty, then poke a hole in the top can and let it empty out into the bottom can. Until finally, the can falls and starts to fire due to the weight placed on the trigger.
Finishing the setup, I move around the North side of the camp, an area good for me to move into the camp proper without being seen. Moving over, I calculate the amount of time until the bottom can is full enough to fire, being about two minutes until the gun fires. Moving in, I look around to see how well armed the people are…not that it'll be a problem for me, just that I think I should. Using [Expert Ninjutsu] to mask my presence, I basically just walk into the camp and have my way with the information I find.
It was basically empty in terms of info on them, maybe if I look through journals or something, but I don't really care enough to know what they did before this. Listening to the conversations didn't really help either since most of them were high on some kind of drug or stimulant. There were a few that had some useful bits of info, but it was interlaced with comments of wanting something to drink or something to fuck. 'No I did not say that wrong, they said something, not someone.' I think, looking in disgust as one walked off with a Prickly Pear fruit he had plucked the thorns off of and cut a hole directly through. I also saw a girl walk off with an Agave plant…with all of the pointy bits still on it…
Turning away, I think about the time left until the bottom can is full, coming out to fifteen seconds. Looking around again, I decide to just walk over to the opposite side of where the camp from the gun setup. It's not going to be fired into the camp, just be used as a diversion. Something to pull their attention away so I can train [Expert Ninjutsu] skill. 'Five…four…three…two…now.' I think, waiting for the gun to start firing…and, nothing-
*VWWWWZZZZZZZZZHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHZZZZZTTTTTZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!*
'And it's firing now!' I think, watching everyone shoot out of their tents and start running around like headless chickens, I heard a few less dignified screams from the people that left with…items of self pleasure…not seeing them come out, I leave them be for later. Pulling my combat knife and making holy fire covered concrete needles, I start my slaughter.
Time skip — ~30 seconds later
Whipping off my knife and dissipating the few remaining needles I have left, I look around to see the full number of raiders, twenty four in total. They didn't even know what happened, just flailing around and hoping they found someone to kill, some of those people being each other. They were really high so it makes sense that some of them would just start shooting, but there were more deaths from friendly fire than from me killing them.
"Anyways, time to loot and get out of here." I say, looting the tents and grabbing what was good enough to take with me. Whistling for Umbra, I do a second pass, just in case. Doing so, I found a journal inside the girl with the…Agave plant, and it had some rather interesting bits of info in it. It was a log of where they had previously raided and had plans of raiding. It also had some passages on deals they were in the process of making with the Legion, deals about stealing some shipments.
"Guess I'll just leave this in Camp Searchlight and let them take care of it. Like I said before, the NCR likes taking things they think belong to them." I snark, feeling irritation for just how corrupt the NCR actually is. Just because I like them more than the Legion doesn't mean I actually like them as a faction, they're just the best the Mojave has to offer for now. Taking a deep breath to stop the rant from continuing, I looked over as Umbra came down the hill from where I entered the camp and came to a stop. Loading everything onto him and grabbing the RCW from the ledge, I ride back down South and past the Farmstead.
Spreading more grass seeds as I pass, I look over to ED-E and say, "Yo, some tunes would be nice, something up-beat maybe?" I ask, waiting for him to pick the song.
ED-E BGM: Jingle Jangle Jingle by Harry Babbitt
"Nice!" I say, kicking Umbra to move faster. I do want to reach Camp Searchlight before it's too dark.
Time skip — ~3 hours later — 10:34 pm
Making it to the outskirts of Camp Searchlight, I see a lot of people still up and about. Most were either off duty NCR soldiers or caravan traders manning stalls. Moving to the most important looking building, which looks to be the Fire Station. There were more soldiers around the station than anywhere else, so I walked over and did the very original move of dropping it in front of the guards…what? Did you think I would have to break in? No, these guys are trying to get rid of a fuck ton of radioactive waste and are having the shipments that should help with that stolen. So no, I don't need to actually break in, just get the journal there.
Though I will watch and make sure the guards actually take it into the guy so I can go get supplies for the journey ahead. Yet it takes the guard a solid three minutes to actually notice the journal, and it took him another five to open the thing instead of looking for who owned it. Honestly, the first time I find a decent NCR soldier is the time I want them to be nosy jerks. Though, he did read it and found the part I had purposely bookmarked, making his eyes widen before he bolted for the Fire Station's entrance.
"Finally, never thought he'd leave." I sigh, turning and walking into the bustling crowd of people and soldiers to find suppliers and buyers for all the stuff I have. Maybe find a place to stay for the night as well, though I'll have to see if the prices are outrageous or not and go from there.
Time skip — Next morning — 9:00 am
'Guess what, they were outrageous!' I shout internally, still feeling my annoyance after waking up outside town. Rolling my bed roll back up, I completely covered my tracks on instinct. I notice it, but still continue with the cover up. Mentally checking everything I'm going to run into along the way to New Vegas, I debate on taking a mission from [Adventure Awaits!]. Taking a few seconds to analyze everything, I shrug and do so.
Ding! Come, adventure awaits you user!
A system panel opened up in front of me, showing six selections for worlds. They were Infamous, Tokyo Ghoul, My Hero Academia, Naruto, Konosuba, and a Random World option. Completely ignoring the Random World option for now, I look over the other worlds, using High Specs to run through everything I remembered. A few seconds later, I made my choice, selecting the Infamous world.
Ding! Let us go, user, and find an adventure that will be sung about for ages to come!
"Yeah, let's go!" I say, smiling widely as the world around me started to fall into specks of light. "Oh shit! ED-E, if you aren't able to come with, I'll make sure to bring info and upgrades back for you!" I said hurriedly, noticing that there wasn't any specks around him, nor was there any around Umbra. The world around me was filled with white, before falling into black. A few seconds passed before a new system panel appeared in front of me.
Ding! One last question, user. Would you like to choose the 'World Resident' option or the 'World Visitor' option?
It took me a few seconds to process what the system meant by that, reading over the options it gave me. 'World Resident' meant that I would have to go to the world with my more obvious abilities being sealed away, so I could fit in with the people there along with an identity that the system would give me. 'World Visitor' meant that I would just be dropped into that world at random in one of the important locations, I would still have all of my abilities, but I wouldn't be able to have a lot of missions related to the main story unless I actively looked for it.
Debating for a few seconds, I smiled and chose the 'World Resident' option. Watching as the screen was replaced by a loading bar, before it turned red and showed an 'ERROR' message.
ERROR! [CONCRETE CONDUIT PHYSIOLOGY] IS ALREADY USED BY AN IMPORTANT PERSON IN THIS WORLD! [CONCRETE CONDUIT PHYSIOLOGY] WILL BE CHANGED TO ANOTHER CONDUIT PHYSIOLOGY!
Looking at the message, I started to sweat a bit, hoping it wouldn't choose some creepy or hard to use power.
Ding! [Concrete Conduit Physiology] has been swapped with [Wire Conduit Physiology]!
[Wire Conduit Physiology]
|Epic Ability|
Infamous – Grants the power to harness and embody the properties of wire. As a Wire Conduit, you gain a mild boost to your physical attributes, including dexterity and reflexes, by integrating wire-like structures into your body. You can absorb, generate, manipulate, emit, and weave wires around and through your form. Wires can be used for offense (whips, cutting edges, electrical shocks), defense (armor, binding), enhanced movement (grappling, swinging), and sensory extension (detecting vibrations through wires).
Instead of using your own energy, your conduit abilities require the absorption of external wire-like materials or metallic filaments to fuel your power reserves. Your body can assimilate various metallic threads or conductive fibers found in the environment to regenerate and strengthen these wire systems.
Initially, you start with basic control over simple wire constructs and defensive wire armor, but with training, you can develop advanced techniques such as complex wire manipulation, remote control of wires over distance, or even creating electrical currents within your wire mesh framework to stun or damage opponents.(A/N: This ability isn't on the site, I made it myself with the AI helper. )
"Oh thank fuck! At least it isn't plants!" I said in relief, feeling an odd sensation as my abilities were 'shut off' for the most part. Though [Ace of All Trades] and oddly enough, [One-Eyed Ghoul] was still on, and [Rinkaku] felt half locked. Like it couldn't come out on its own, not without something to help it. [Claws] also felt half locked, but [Create Water] and [Holy Flame] were completely locked away. [Adventure Awaits!] had this feeling of being…'tired', like it was resting, before it 'stepped back' from the spotlight. Then something happened, a feeling of sluggishness in my mind for a second before it faded.

"Ah, that's right, mutations from the Fallout world wouldn't make sense in the Infamous world." I rationalized, not feeling to beat up about my mutation being taken away. "At least it didn't revert the physical changes that came with the mutation." I finished, feeling [High Specs] take up the space that my mutation was using in my mind.
World transfer will occur in 3…

Now!
Seeing the message, my world started to spin in the literal sense before a world came into view, one less destroyed looking. Taking in the world I was quickly falling towards I notice a few things, a lodge on the edge of a cliff, a cannery, and-
"Is that the Space Needle?" I say, my mind instantly clicking into place what time I dropped into. Looking down to see where I'm going to be placed, seeing an armored truck just before my vision went dark.
[Chapter 10 End]
A/N: I think I have to say this now. Yes, I'll be making this a full section of the story, I'll be making it a few chapters long. Maybe 5 chapters, I don't know yet. I'll see how long it takes and how it all unfolds. I'll also be playing through the story for Infamous Second Son so I remember exactly what's going on, that's why it's taken so long to get this one out. I had to set everything up and take notes on the beginning and some of the story points from the other characters' perspectives.
Also, do you want me to keep the [Wire Conduit Physiology] when he gets back? It'll probably make it a full swap so he won't be able to have both, but I kinda want to give it to him just so I can make him more balanced in the Fallout world. I mean, the only place he would have trouble would be in Fallout 4. Why? Because of the amount of insane stuff happening there, like all of the mutants, the amount of people waiting to kill someone that comes around the corner, the factions wanting to take control, or just the environment itself. That place is a lot more deadly than people give it credit for. Strip away the OP character structure and the stupid bot AI and you have one of the deadliest places to live.
Also, I was tired the whole time I was making this chapter so tell me what's wrong or what doesn't make sense so I can fix and stream line it.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed your holidays and new years, have an incredible new year, and for those who have (and those who haven't) read this far, have in incredible rest of your day/night.
