Paige was startled by her son's voice, she quickly tries to explain herself,
" I'm sorry. It is not like that son, I was just teasing your God mother. I swear"
Paige pleaded, following her son at the back, as he headed downstairs.
" Junior, you should know that your mom didn't mean that right?",
Liv tried to assure him, he just stood moody and asked for his breakfast to be packaged instead. He insisted on having them at school.
" I was just kidding earlier. You should know me better than anyone else. I love you Junior, you are my world, and I'll never stop caring for you. Don't you ever carry what I said in mind, okay?",
This was Paige squatting In front of her son. She almost slapped herself for saying such words. She never expected for him to act all moody by her joke.
" Are we good?", Paige 's voice came low, she also kept her face like a baby to tease her son.
" Eww, it doesn't suit you. Don't think you are getting any younger", Junior responded, grabbing his food from Lucy and hugging his mom.
Everyone heard the horn of the school bus, Paige just did a little adjustment to Junior's uniform and kissed him on the forehead.
" I told you to stop doing this, I'm not a child anymore", Junior rubs it off, he didn't like things like that. He felt it was for children. To him he was an adult.
" Bye mom!! Bye God mother!",
He left not knowing his mom ran outside after him,
" I'll pick you up from school, then we can go somewhere nice okay",
He nods and enters the bus. Paige headed back into the house, shutting the door behind her.
" How is he?" Liv asked, eating the last piece of pancakes she has made. Paige slipped down to the floor, scattering her hair more with her hands,
" I can't believe he heard that, and he even took it to heart. I need a beating right now",
Liv nodded in acceptance and walked towards her with a mischievous smile on her face and started beating Paige playfully.
Paige got up and started running upstairs to her room but Liv didn't give up. She ran after her, giving her a spank any second she caught up with her.
They let out a heavy sigh as they fell on the bed. They were laughing like children after the little fun they had.
Paige turned to face Liv who also faces her smiling,
" Who is the guy?", Liv's eyes widened by her sudden question. This made sit up straight, her eyes never leaving Paige's. She was lost.
" What guy?", she questions back. Paige slowly sat up, her eyes meeting Liv's with that hideous smile she carried.
She moved herself closer to Liv, not giving her any breathing space. Her eyes were still on her as her hands suddenly went under the bed to pull out the coat from under. Liv didn't catch this one,
" I meant to ask….. about the owner of this coat", she drags her words to the last before displaying it to Liv's face.
Liv pushes her over, giving herself some space,
" You scared me, I thought it was something serious".
Paige was still waiting for Liv's answer, while she on the other hand could see how impatient she was.
" Fine! It was just a guy I met when I went to meet you know…that client at the restaurant", Liv explained hoping that will calm her down. But that just made her curiosity grow more. She had no other options than to explain what happened that night.
" Can you imagine that scumbag!!! He even tried to take advantage of you in public?!! People have no shame these days…
Paige's face changed to complete annoyance. If she even saw that person in reality, maybe that day would be the day she was going to jail.
" — I don't want to talk about it, it was already in the past. Like you said, I want to start living another version of myself", Liv cut her from finishing, trying to shove it off.
" So, you are telling me you didn't get Mr. Mask's name, I can't believe you", Paige teases her.
" I didn't get his name directly from him, I already knew who he was even if he was all covered up. Besides it was not the first time I had contact with him", Liv revealed.
" What do you mean?", Paige 's ears were ready for more spillage.
" The store. I felt it was him at the store too", Liv went on to explain her encounter with him at the store.
Paige was silent for a while, she lay flat on the bed trying to put together this scene.
" Is that a coincidence?", she finally said after much thinking.
" Huh"
" Or is it fate", Paige added.
Liv spanks her laps trying to bring her back from whatever fantasy she was putting together,
" Wake up. Destiny my foot, my life has already been a mess and here you are talking bullshit".
Paige rub her laps from the hurtful spank,
" I was just saying. So how will you meet him again? You don't even know what he looks like".
" Again?", her voice went loud
"I don't think that is ever going to happen. Plus I don't plan too".
" Why?", curious Paige questions
" Even though he saved me twice, I still consider him rude. I just can't stand his voice too. Finally, I don't owe him anything".
" Really?",
She sat up raising her eyebrow.
" Yes", she firmly replied.
" Gosh you're so boring. Who doesn't like someone that saves them. I wonder what you are made off. Do you even have a heart?", she rolls her eyes.
Paige picks up the coat and tries taking in the scent,
" What are you doing?", Liv questions, looking at Paige in a disgusting manner.
" I'm trying to see what Mr. Savior smells like", her eyes closed, so focused on inhaling more.
Liv couldn't stand watching this disgusting show of hers, she immediately tries dragging the coat away from her. Paige tightly holds it,
" What are you doing?", Paige asked
" You, what are you doing? Smelling someone's coat, how disgusting. Are you an animal?", she questions back.
They both started dragging the coat to each other,
" Leave it", Liv commands
Stubborn Paige pulls her the tip of her tongue out to her,
" Seriously leave it", Liv yells.
From their struggling, a card fell out of the coat,
" Wait! What is that", Liv asked, spotting the card on the floor. She tries to reach out to the card on the bed when Paige rushes over it.
" What is it?", Liv saw that Paige's expression had changed completely after seeing the card, she asked wondering what might be on it.
" OMG! This must be where he works", Paige tried to say, still pretending to be excited so Liv won't notice her oddity.
She gave the card to Liv,
