Liv had been sitting at the little stairs leading to the entrance of the house, her head bent on her knees. She has been crying non-stop since her mom has finally abandoned her. She felt useless to the point she started questioning her own existence.
The rain didn't stop falling, it continued heavier. The cold had gotten into her body, her lips had started drying, she was shivering. Even the coat she wore was feeling light on her body.
She got a call from Paige, who had been worried sick about her. Now she called, all she heard was someone's voice trembling from the cold. Liv explained everything that had happened and Paige told her she was coming to get her.

" Quickly take a shower and come down after, okay?"Paige suggested, helping Liv take off her coat.
Liv heads over to shower while Paige helps settle Olivia's things in her room.
Paige decided not to talk or ask more questions about what happened, she wanted her to open up herself without being forced to.
When they were finally done with everything, Paige had been waiting in the sitting room for her but she didn't come. She figured she had gone to the best place in the house.

She went up to keep her company too. She spotted me on the floor crying hard, she just sat beside her without talking. She wanted her to cry it all out.
" Yes, keep crying it all out. You have to relieve yourself at some point",
After consuming almost an hour crying and sobbing, she fell asleep on Paige's shoulders.
It didn't take long when she finally woke up,
" How long have I been asleep? Was I really sleeping on your shoulder all this time?".
" Why did you think you were sleeping on a king size bed. Don't make me laugh", she teased.
" I mean…why didn't you wake me up, we would have gone inside".
" Are you okay now?", Paige changed the topic
" Do you want me to lie?", Liv asked stretching her legs.
" You are bad at lying. Maybe that is what your mother knew about you", Paige responded, playing with her fingers.
" I'm sorry for bothering you, I promise when I get enough money, I'll pack out",
That came out of nowhere to Paige. It hit her hard,
she didn't expect those words to come from her. She considered her to be her friend and her younger sister.
They were not of the same age, but no one could notice that since Paige had a kind of body that made her always look so young.
Their first meeting was at a bar, Paige went out with a man who tried to take advantage of her, and that was when Liv saved her despite how young Liv was back then, she was strong.
They had become friends from that day till now.
" After what we have gone through, I can't believe you are saying those words" Paige faces Liv, her voice coming out in disappointment.
Liv saw the disappointment in her eyes but she couldn't help herself. To her, she didn't want to be a burden to anyone anymore, even to the people closest to her.
" I've been telling you since to move in with me but you refused. Now thanks to your mother you are finally here. You don't have to move anywhere, this is your house too", Paige said softly, smiling to ease Liv thoughts.
" Where is Junior?", Lucy asked.
" Where else? Of course he's in his room. I put him to bed early. He has a school to attend"
Lucy thoughts about what happens next in her life, after much thinking she asked,
" Have you ever wanted the world to come to an end",
Paige chuckles over her question. Her mind went back to the night John abandoned her and his baby. Who wouldn't want the world to end after going through such things.
Paige knew that she had gone through hell just to survive but after giving birth to junior, she somewhat found joy even if she was at a very young age to be called a mother.
" Everyone has different things they go through, all that matters is how you handle it. Yes, it must have been a mistake at first but you can turn it to something you learned from and grow from it", Paige replied.
" If you ask me, did you regret knowing you were pregnant? I'll answer with a yes. What does an eighteen year old have to do with pregnancy? But if you ask me, did you regret having junior? I'll be honest, No. I never for once regret having johnny".
" He changed me", she finally said.
Paige words got Liv believing in herself, she didn't have to let her circumstances change her, but she had to change for her circumstances to change.
" Okay, that is enough. Let's head inside now, unless you want to feed the mosquitoes".
Paige said, rubbing her hands on Liv's hair.

" God mother!!!!"
Junior came running with excitement down the stairs. He had finished showering and had a singlet with his boxers on. He heard noise coming from the kitchen and thought it was his mom. To his surprise, coming out of his room it was his God mother.
" Hey, hey!, be careful"
She cautioned him, Liv left what she was busy preparing and squatted to give junior a hug. She embraced him tightly, her face covered with a smile.
" When did you arrive?", junior asked, releasing himself from her .
" Just yesterday, how have you been?",
" Great, but I missed you",
He answered.
" I know right, I have missed you too. Okay, Okay, go change. I am preparing breakfast for you. You will have it before going to school", Liv said, patting his hair slightly with style since her hands were filled with flour.
Junior nods and immediately heads back to his room
" Where is your mom?", Liv asked making him to pause his movement as he turns to her,
" I don't know, she can be anywhere. As long as you are here, I'm more than excited", he said, shouting his words purposely too for his mother's hearing.
The noise in the house woke Paige up, but what her son said, made her come out of the room,
" Junior! How dare you", she said outside her room.
She was still in her night gown, her hair was scattered maybe from the way she slept at night.
Junior's room was just a little away from his mom's room so he could basically see and hear her clearly. He threw a smile at her after seeing the way his mom looked like,
" Good morning mom", he greeted
" I could be anywhere huh?", she questions raising her eyebrow
" Everyone knows you will be on your bed, that is why I said anywhere. Also mom try checking yourself in the mirror before coming out", with that he fled into his room.
Paige folds her hands in disbelief,
How can he talk like an adult? Also, what does my hair have to do with what I was talking about.
" Still making breakfast?"Paige asked, drawing her words like someone who has been sleeping for ages. She leans on the rail of the stairs, Liv could practically see her from downstairs.
" Already done. Why don't you do the servings",
That was Liv's suggestion, instead Paige just stretches ignoring her words. This made Liv step out of the kitchen clearly for Paige to have a clear view of her.
" You seem pretty lazy today for me. Don't tell me, you are going to be leaving everything on me again like before"
Paige chuckles, to her Liv always catches up with her act.
" It is not like I'm lazy. Think about it, it has been a long time since you saw Junior. Now you are here, why not take care of your God son",
Liv shook her head to Paige words.
" You know it is hard to take care of a growing child, it is better when they become adults", Paige lowe
rs her voice this time.
" So it is hard to take care of me?"Junior asked, coming out of his room already dressed with his school uniform.
