Chapter 180 - Chapter 180: The Fallen Angel

Chapter 180: The Fallen Angel

After a brief silence, Qian Renxue finally reacted. Her already rosy cheeks turned as red as an apple.

"I-I'm not shy! It's just a Martial Soul Fusion, right? Fine—let's do it!" she shouted, flustered yet defiant, summoning her Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul.

"Then I'll begin," Luo Ling said with a faint smile curling at his lips.

In the next instant, the Crow Shadow Puppet and the Soul of Desire began merging. All twelve of his soul rings fused together as one.

As Luo Ling completed the fusion, Qian Renxue's eyes flickered with surprise and fascination.

Dark energy swirled around Luo Ling, his eyes gleaming with a demonic red light. Combined with his silvery hair, he exuded the aura of a dark sovereign.

That unique aura captivated Qian Renxue unconsciously.

Luo Ling gazed at her and slowly stepped closer.

A Martial Soul Fusion required not only compatibility between spirits, but also a deep resonance between souls.

Typically, even if two soul masters possessed compatible spirits, achieving fusion demanded long-term attunement and trust. But for Luo Ling, such steps were unnecessary.

To him, "resonance" meant one simple thing—the intertwining of souls.

And soul resonance came easily to him, for he could see the very essence of a soul—the Threads of Spirit.

As Qian Renxue stood frozen, unsure how to react, Luo Ling gently embraced her. Quietly, his spiritual threads extended, entwining with hers.

Unlike his usual soul domination, this connection was mutual, complementary—fusion, not control.

Gradually, the dark energy from Luo Ling spread over Qian Renxue, enveloping them both like a spinning cocoon.

The holy radiance of the Six-Winged Angel was devoured entirely, replaced by pure corruption.

Soon the cocoon glowed crimson, bursting with a terrifying aura that exploded outward from the chamber.

The crushing pressure engulfed the entire Crown Prince's residence.

The roof above Qian Renxue's chamber cracked apart; the walls collapsed under the immense energy, leaving the room in chaos.

Outside, Snake Lance Douluo and Blood Thorn Douluo felt the fierce shockwaves and rushed inside.

There, they witnessed an astonishing sight.

The room's roof was gone, shattered apart. Floating in midair was a towering figure, nearly three meters tall.

Behind it were two pairs of wings—one white, one black.

It wore ornate black-and-gold battle armor traced with dark red veins, highlighting an elegant, almost divine silhouette.

Its face was exquisitely beautiful, framed by long, silver-white hair. Nobility and wickedness blended harmoniously in its form—a perfect contradiction made real.

"What… what is that?" Blood Thorn Douluo asked in disbelief.

Both Qian Renxue and Saint Luo Ling had been inside—so why did they now face a single, corrupted angel?

Had the young master and the holy son been attacked?

That was all Blood Thorn Douluo could think, and his face darkened.

"Who are you? Where are the young master and Saint Luo Ling?" he demanded coldly.

The angel before them radiated immense energy, though still short of a Titled Douluo's level—more akin to a peak-level Contra.

But both Snake Lance and Blood Thorn were Titled Douluo themselves.

"No need to be alarmed, Blood Thorn Douluo. We're right here before you," the angel said softly.

The tension broke in an instant; both Douluos froze.

"What did you say?"

"I said, I'm both Luo Ling and Qian Renxue." A wicked smile formed on the angel's lips. "Martial Soul Fusion Technique—you both should know it."

Luo Ling felt an intoxicating surge within—the power of the fusion reached unprecedented heights. Though the projected form appeared as Qian Renxue's angel, the essence and dominance were his.

He could sense that the fusion had not yet completely merged his powers. The angelic form integrated mainly the extreme evil of the Crow Shadow Puppet, balanced by the Soul of Desire as the core mediator.

Unfolding its wings, Luo Ling guided the colossal fallen angel down from the air, landing before a half-broken mirror.

He looked at the reflection carefully. The face resembled Qian Renxue's by more than half, but traces of his own features lingered. The form itself was feminine—graceful yet terrifying.

Curious, he pinched the angel's cheek once—or twice—before Qian Renxue's furious voice echoed in his mind.

"What are you doing?! You pervert!"

Still linked in fusion, Qian Renxue couldn't move the body, but she felt every sensation as if from her own.

Luo Ling immediately stopped, realizing her reaction—but his amused smile didn't fade.

He cleared his throat and turned to the two Douluos. "Elders, how about testing the strength of our Fusion Technique?"

Snake Lance and Blood Thorn exchanged looks, hesitating before finally nodding.

"If the young master wishes to spar, of course. But… wouldn't it be too conspicuous within the capital?"

"Then let's fight outside the city," Luo Ling replied nonchalantly.

Moments later, the trio arrived in the wilderness beyond the city walls. The fallen angel soared with unmatched speed—faster, in fact, than both Titled Douluos.

The two elders exchanged stunned glances again and again.

At their destination, they stopped.

"I'll be the one to spar with the young master," Snake Lance Douluo stepped forward.

Blood Thorn Douluo said nothing. Luo Ling didn't mind either way. He casually lifted his right hand.

A jet-black longsword materialized within his grasp.

Once a divine blade of light, it was now a sword of darkness, exuding immense malevolent power.

Snake Lance Douluo summoned his serpent spear in response.

Without another word, the two clashed.

Sword and spear collided fiercely, sparks and shockwaves erupting through the desolate field.

The longer they fought, the more astonished Snake Lance Douluo became.

The angel's soul power hadn't broken into Titled territory—yet its strength matched his blow for blow.

In power, speed—and especially speed—it surpassed him.

Luo Ling relished the sensation of the Fallen Angel's combined might. Through the fusion, he could wield both his and Qian Renxue's soul skills.

But he refrained—unleashing his full techniques would make the fight meaningless.

Even restrained, his overwhelming aura pressed Snake Lance Douluo to the edge of defeat.

Against the sinister might of the Fallen Angel, he had no real chance of victory.
