"What was that?", hissed beneath Kai Shek hissed beneath his breath as he and Liu Chang walked out.
"The responsibility of my office is weighing down on me, really?"
"Sometimes you rush to speak without thinking", Liu Chang calmly rebuked.
"You didn't stop to think what effect speaking ill of crown prince Wang Wei might have on the emperor".
"What wrong thing did I say?", asked Kai Shek.
"Crown prince Wang Wei is the pride of his father, the peace of Jade palace. He can be the one for whom the dragon's wrath is provoked against you".

Crown prince Wang Wei was taking a leisurely stroll with his aide, bodyguard and confidant Chen Jun through the glades of the celestial realm.
"Your highness we have been walking for some time, where exactly are we going?", asked Chen Jun. 'We shouldn't be away this long from the jade palace without telling anyone".
"Don't worry Chen Jun, I had already informed someone", said crown prince Wang Wei.
"Who?", asked Chen Jun.
"You", crown prince Wang Wei replied with a conspiratorial smile at his friend and confidant.
"That's okay then", said Chen Jun light heartedly. Though I am now sure, I know where we are going. I 'm sure this escapade has something to do with the delectable, the one and only, Zhang Mei!
"Speak softly you fool", crown prince Wang Wei rebuked light hearted. You know how the emperor has a way of hearing about these sort of things.Who knows even the birds may be listening to us at this very moment".

His eyes ran along the surface of the Earth until he found Zhang Mei sitting in a glade with a stream of clear fast flowing water on running through it. She was enjoying a cup tea with her best friend Wang Li.
"Chen Jun look how happy she is", said crown prince Wang Wei looking down at Zhang Mei from jade heaven and smiling.
"Beautiful", agreed Chen Jun also smiling, looking down spell bound at Wang Li.
"Such a gentle and pure soul. She would never dream of harming a living soul, I 'm sure", said crown prince Wang Wei looking down at Zhang Mei.
"Even if that soul was a fly that landed on her cup of tea?", teased Chen Jun looking down at Wang Li.
"I 'm sure she would take pity on that fly were it to fall into her tea, and gently removing it from the scalding tea would do her best to nurse it back to health", replied crown prince Wang Wei. Looking down dreamily at Zhang Mei.
"I said a fly and not a celestial being", insisted Chen Jun looking at crown prince Wang Wei in disbelief.
"It would make no difference whether it was a fly or a prince", replied crown prince Wang Wei almost subconciously. Looking down happily at Zhang Mei.
"Would you be willing to stake your life on it?" asked Chen Jun.
"Gladly", replied crown prince Wang Wei. "I wonder what is making her to smile so prettily?", asked crown prince Wang Wei.
"Maybe it has something to do with what that she must be discussing with Wang Li", replied Chen Jun his gazed fixed on Wang Li's face.
"What could they be saying?", crown prince Wang Wei asked light heartedly. While keeping his gaze on Zhang Mei.
"Excuse me", suddenly teased Chen Jun. "Just how should I know that?, I don't read lips you know. Especially from such a distance it simply can not be done".
"I need to get close enough to hear what they are talking about", Wang Wei proceeded with conviction.
"What are you saying your highness?", Chen Jun exclaimed with shock.
"It is forbidden to interfere in the matters of of mortals".
"Who said anything about interfering?", crown prince Wang Wei responded with a playful smile."I will simply be a fly sitting on the rim of her cup of tea. Is that forbidden too?", crown prince Wang Wei suggested with a conspiratorial smile.
"Try not to get yourself too badly scalded when you fall into her tea", cautioned Chen Jun.
"To be scalded or not for Zhang Wei is worth all the risk ", calmly replied crown prince Wang Wei gazing happily at Zhang Mei's beautiful face.
