"And what if he is? Do you have any message for him or something to give to him?" I asked, looking at that lunch bag. I just wanted to be sure that the lunch bag in his hands wasn't for Kasteil. I didn't want to believe what I was thinking right now. But the bag was clearly wrapped with care, clearly meant for someone special.
"I'm looking for Kasteil, not you," Roma said. His voice was dismissive, like I was nothing more than an obstacle in his path.
"And why are you looking for him?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Are you his maid? Why are you asking me so many questions?" Roma huffed, shifting his weight from foot to foot.
I was trying to be really nice to him even with how annoyed I was, but it seemed he didn't want me being nice to him. Every word out of his mouth made my blood pressure rise. He was either doing this on purpose or he was just really good at pissing people off.
