Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Awakening and Destination

Chapter 32: Awakening and Destination

Before Lynn transmigrated to this World, Wolverine from the original storyline was one of the superheroes that touched Lynn the most.

Whether it was his muscular physique, his tragic experiences, or even his regrettable life ending, all left a deep impression on Lynn.

As Lynn narrated, Wolverine became increasingly silent. He mechanically ate his hamburger in large bites, and some memories buried deep in his mind began to flash repeatedly.

After he finished all the hamburgers, he fell silent like a statue, but the emotions flickering in his eyes grew hotter.

Lynn glanced at Wolverine, his expression a bit odd.

Is the effect really that obvious?

He pondered for a moment, and after tidying up his somewhat blurry memories, he continued to recount the memorable Wolverine scenes.

If Wolverine's 'reason and self' that had begun to return was like a lit spark, then the things Lynn narrated were the kindling that made this spark burn fiercely.

This 'reason and self' Fire burned brighter and brighter until it completely incinerated the chaotic mist in Wolverine's mind.

Lynn had stopped at some point.

And Wolverine's gaze, which was originally like a Beast, dominated by instinct, slowly gave way to the light of reason after a painful struggle.

And then... "Ah! Ah ah ah!"

He let out a roar, as if a drowning person had suddenly taken a breath of air, finally finding his self from the abyss of chaos.

"Ah ah ah!"

Wolverine roared incessantly, venting his bitter emotions.

Lynn watched this scene, his expression extremely peculiar.

Should he praise Wolverine's abnormal recovery ability, or his storytelling skills?

Did he really help this trapped Beast find his self in such a short time?

Although Wolverine would likely have recovered in a short time even without his story, it was good to wake up earlier.

At least there was no need to worry about him ruining the environment in the Inner World.

After a while, Wolverine's roaring finally stopped.

And after his emotions calmed down, his first words to Lynn were... "Can I have a glass of Water and a set of clothes?"

Wolverine said in a deep voice, but a hint of embarrassment and awkwardness flashed across his face.

Waking up only to find himself naked felt terrible.

"Whoosh."

Lynn whistled, grinning as he said, "Knowing to wear clothes means you've recovered quite well."

Wolverine's face instantly turned crimson, and he said angrily, "Please hurry!"

Angry as he was, he was still quite polite.

Lynn shrugged, stepped out of the Inner World, and reappeared in Tony's mansion.

Lynn checked the time; there were still three hours left of the five hours Tony mentioned.

He raised an eyebrow, and guided by Jarvis, he found a tracksuit, grabbed a few bottles of Water, and returned to the Inner World.

"Water!"

Wolverine snatched the Water Lynn offered him.

He was very thirsty.

Especially since he had eaten seven hamburgers not long ago.

After chugging three bottles of Water, he finally let out a satisfied sigh.

"Thanks."

Wolverine nodded to Lynn, then put on Tony Stark's tracksuit, frowning uncomfortably.

His physique was much better than Tony's, and the tracksuit was a bit small, feeling like it was constricting him.

Although it was a bit uncomfortable, at least he wasn't naked anymore.

Wolverine breathed a sigh of relief, meticulously observed his surroundings, and suddenly asked, "Is this your World?"

"Hmm?"

Lynn looked at Wolverine in surprise: "You actually heard my conversation with Raven?"

Wolverine nodded, giving a wry smile: "I was just confused and couldn't think, but that doesn't mean I lost my perception of the outside World."

At this point, he looked at Lynn with a deep gaze.

"I clearly remember everything I went through, including you planting me in the grass."

It's over!

He's been accused!

Lynn chuckled awkwardly: "Haha! No choice! You were too rowdy!"

"Heh."

Wolverine chuckled softly, then suddenly said to Lynn, "Thanks."

If it weren't for Lynn, he would still be a controlled Beast, and it was highly likely he would have remained controlled until he completely lost his self.

By then, everything he loved, hated, cared about... all these things would completely vanish with the sinking of his consciousness.

Thinking of this, he, who had always been fearless of life and death, felt a strong fear emerge in his heart.

But immediately after, an uncontrollable rage followed.

Just as Wolverine was burning with rage, Lynn felt a surge of faith power from Wolverine.

Although this faith power was not as pure as Raven's, it was far more fervent than ordinary faith power.

And this meant... with a little more effort, he could gain a second follower?

Thinking of this, Lynn gently patted Wolverine's shoulder.

"Calm down! You're not the only one who has a grudge against those people."

Wolverine paused, took a deep breath to suppress his anger, then nodded at Lynn.

"Interested in telling your story?"

Lynn asked curiously.

Wolverine paused, as if remembering something, then suddenly asked, "Where did you learn those stories you just told me?"

Lynn said mysteriously, "From another Wolverine."

He raised an eyebrow at Wolverine teasingly.

"If I hadn't recognized you as this World's Wolverine, I might have already taken you down."

"Oh?"

Wolverine said, crossing his arms, "I'm not that easy to kill."

"But there are many ways to make your life worse than death."

Lynn narrowed his eyes and smiled maliciously: "Like sinking you to the bottom of the sea."

Wolverine shivered and quickly changed the subject.

"Logan Howlett, that's my current name."

"Compared to the Wolverine you spoke of, my story is not worth mentioning."

Logan paused, then, with a deep, story-filled voice honed by over a hundred years, began to tell his own story.

His origin was almost identical to the WolverineLynn knew.

Born on a farm in Canada, he awakened his abilities and wandered the World, participating in one war after another. After the wars ended, he again began decades of wandering.

Fighting, drinking, gambling... just as he felt like a puddle of mud, destined to spend a long lifetime alone, he met a woman two years ago, a woman he loved to his core.

But it was this woman who pushed him into the abyss.

He was injected with adamantium, transforming him into a controlled Beast.

Only after being rescued by Lynn did he regain his consciousness.

After he finished recounting his experiences, although his expression remained unchanged, his heart was filled with increasing gratitude towards Lynn.

Lynn felt Logan's increasingly fervent faith power and gently patted Logan's shoulder, saying to the man who had wandered for over a hundred years.

"Interested in joining us, creating a new World together, and finding a home for yourself?"

"A home... my home?"
