"Ah!!! I forgot!" Watching Clefairy disappear into the depths of the tunnel, Gary suddenly realized he had done something foolish.

"What's wrong, Gary?" Lorelei walked over, asking curiously.

"The Moon Stone! I needed Clefairy to take me to find two Moon Stones, and I just let Clefairy go! Oh my goodness!" Gary clutched his forehead, almost dying of exasperation.

"I think things might not be so bad, you see?" Lorelei patted Gary and pointed ahead.

Gary looked up in confusion and saw a timid Clefairy standing not far away, with two Clefable standing behind it.

Most importantly, the Clefable were holding two large Moon Stones!

"Clefairy~" A Clefable came to Gary, stood on its tiptoes, and painstakingly handed the Moon Stones in its hands to Gary.

Gary was so moved that snot bubbles almost came out: "For me?"

"Clefairy~" The Clefable nodded. To thank Gary for saving their child, this was the most precious gift of gratitude they could think of.

"Thank you… I really, really needed this." Gary didn't stand on ceremony, opened his backpack, and put the two high-quality Moon Stones inside.

After thinking for a moment, he took out the Pokemon food he had made and handed two cans to each Clefable.

"Clefairy?" The Clefable curiously poked the cans.

Gary smiled brightly, took the iron can, opened it, and handed it over: "I'm treating you to a meal."

Carefully sniffing and then taking a bite, the two Clefable's eyes lit up, and they immediately ate several more mouthfuls.

"Alright, you all need to be careful in the future too, don't get caught by bad guys again." Gary stroked the heads of Clefairy and Clefable, then put his backpack back on.

"Leaving?" Lorelei asked softly.

"Yeah, I need to quickly take Rhydon to a Pokémon Center. Miss Lorelei, what about you?" Gary asked, turning back.

"Officer Jenny will probably be here soon, and I don't have anything to do right now, so why don't we walk together for a bit?" Lorelei said, resting her chin on her hand.

"That would be great."

Who would refuse an invitation to travel with a mature woman in a bodycon skirt and black stockings?

And so, accompanied by Lorelei, Gary successfully passed through the cave and continued towards Cerulean City along the descent from Mt. Moon.

Along the way, the two chatted intermittently.

To Lorelei's surprise, Gary's knowledge was incredibly vast. Whether it was Pokemon breeding or battling, or even local customs, Gary could engage in any topic and offer his own insights.

Especially the discussion about Ice-type Pokemon, which captivated Lorelei.

"Does the Alola region really have Ice-type Ninetales?" Lorelei asked longingly as they walked.

"Yes, and there's also Ice-type Sandslash. My great-uncle, Samson Oak, runs a school in the Alola region, and he told me all about these," Gary said, nodding.

"How exciting! Such Pokemon," Lorelei's eyes were full of stars.

"After the Indigo League ends, I might go for a trip to the Alola region. If you're interested, you can also go see it; it's a popular tourist and resort destination," Gary suggested.

"Really?" Lorelei looked at Gary with a hint of excitement.

"If you have time, of course~" Gary shrugged.

"Of course I do! After the Indigo League ends, besides beating up Lance, I have no other plans. A trip would be nice!" Lorelei clapped her hands like a little girl.

Gary listened, his face full of black lines. What did you just say? What do you mean, you have nothing to do besides beating up Lance?

Lance, who was currently on an inspection in Johto, suddenly sneezed several times. His Dragonite next to him covered its nose in disgust, thinking, 'Stinky man, don't give me your cold.'

The two chatted about the local customs of Alola as they walked down the mountain, not feeling bored at all.

The only thing Gary regretted was that Lorelei's aura was too strong; within a ten-mile radius, no wild Pokemon dared to show their faces, so he didn't encounter any stubborn experience packages.

In the afterglow of the setting sun, the two finally arrived at Cerulean City.

"Well then, let's part ways here." Lorelei shrugged: "If I show up at the Pokémon Center in Cerulean City, it will cause a commotion."

"Indeed." Gary clicked his tongue. The Kanto Elite Four were absolute superstars anywhere.

"Then let's part ways here. If you need anything, you can call me."

"Of course, I'm quite interested in the Ice-type Ninetales, and I haven't seen the Ice-type Eevee you mentioned either. I might have to bother you a lot in the future," Lorelei said, winking mischievously.

"Of course, no problem, you're welcome to contact me anytime." Gary nodded, and the two parted ways on the street.

"The young man from the Oak Family What a shame, he's too young" Watching Gary's retreating figure, Lorelei shook her head, her face slightly flushed, and turned to leave.

On the other side, Gary also arrived at the Pokémon Center. After explaining the situation to Joy, Rhydon was given a special care room, and Gary rested directly in the room.

"This child's injuries weren't severe, but… the forced evolution severely overtaxed his body. I think he'll need very careful attention from now on," Joy said, handing Gary a long list of supplements.

"Okay, I understand." Gary took the list, his scalp tingling.

Protein supplements, calcium tablets, zinc supplements, iron supplements, blood tonics…

Rhydon would need to take these supplements for at least a year to return to normal physical condition.

"You should be happy, I'm still somewhat rich." Gary shook his head helplessly, found a reclining chair in the room, wrapped himself in a blanket, and closed his eyes to rest.

Joy, passing by, secretly peeked in and showed a relieved smile.

A dreamless night~

"Owoo~" The next day, Gary was awakened by Rhydon's weak Growl.

"How are you, feeling better?" Gary put away his blanket, watching Rhydon clumsily try to get up.

Thud~ After two attempts, the big guy fell headfirst onto the bed. Luckily, the special care room's bed was sturdy enough.

"Don't struggle, big guy." Gary stood up and came to Rhydon's side.

"Ow…" Rhydon looked at Gary warily, its drill on its head slowly rotating.

"Come on, you'd have trouble taking down a Rattata right now." Gary directly rubbed Rhydon's big head twice: "Young man, you were very unlucky to be caught by Team Rockets, but you're also very lucky. Because you met me."

"Ow?" Rhydon tilted its head, looking at Gary curiously.

"Your body needs a lot of nutritional supplements. Although I don't like to meddle, but~ since I caught you, guess what? You'll recover quickly and become a formidable Rhydon, I promise." Gary stood with his hands on his hips, his voice firm.

Rhydon lay on the hospital bed, closing its eyes resignedly, seemingly accepting its fate.

"Hey, your personality. Never mind, come meet your future companions." Gary took out his poké balls and released all his Pokemon.

Eevee , Charmeleon , Scyther , Nidorino , Nidoran♀ .

Adding Rhydon, Gary realized he had already assembled a full team.

"Alright, guys, say hello to your new friend." Gary clapped his hands.

Eevee and the other little ones all politely greeted Rhydon.

Rhydon opened its eyes, looked around, then closed its eyes again to rest.

Gary shook his head, 'Still quite proud. When Nidorino evolves, I'll let Nidoking give him a good workout and temper his personality.'

Nidorino, who was kissing Nidoran♀, suddenly felt a chill down his spine and saw Gary's half-smile.

Nidorino: ∑( ̄□ ̄;) Oh-ho, I accidentally showed some affection. My Boss won't hold a grudge, will he... Eevee jumped onto the hospital bed and lay beside Rhydon, calling out softly. Eevee, having also experienced human experimentation, felt deeply sorry for Rhydon's plight.

"Alright, everyone, take a break. We'll train at noon. Since Rhydon needs to stay for two more days of observation, I think we'll have to stay in Cerulean City for two days," Gary said to his Pokemon after thinking for a moment.

The Pokemon all nodded understandingly.
