Tamara walked out of her room wearing a purple short rosy gown and heels with her long black bonstraight hair, she carried some files on her hands and her bag as she walked towards the living room where Lola stood waiting for her, as Lola saw Tamara walking down the stairs she greeted
" Good morning ma " then collected the files and Tamara's bag as she followed behind Tamara as they walked outside
Williams was rested on Tamara's white Mercedes Benz wearing a white dress long sleeve, black trousers and black tie, his eyes darted toward the direction of his boss on her stunning dress dialoguing with Lola.
She soon approached the car, she stood there waiting for Williams to open the door but he was found dumbfoundedly staring at his boss, Tamara sighed heavily then woke him up with " Hello " he quickly recovered as he cleared his throat slightly then greeted " Good Morning ma "
" I don't need your greetings, they're as useless as you are "Tamara responded rudely as she signaled him to open the door
" Wait, am I suppose to open the door "Williams asked looking lost
" Will you get the door before I send for another driver "Tamara yelled on top her voice as Lola hurriedly went through the other side
" sorry ma "he said gently as he opened the door for her then soon went to the drivers side then zoomed off the mansion
Inside the car…..
Tamara watched closely at her phone as a call came, she quickly gave the phone to Lola saying " Answer it "
"Good morning, you're speaking to the MD's personal assistant, please how may we be of help to you " Lola responded to the call
" I wish to speak with Tamara Balogun "The caller's voice said in a barely audible tone
" What's ur name please "Lola asked professionally
" I am Shola Segun Batilomi " The voice replied as Lola mute the call then turned to her boss
" Ma, Shola Segun Batilomi wants to speak with you " Lola said to Tamara as she grabbed the phone,unmute it then said
" MD speaking, how may I help you Segun" Tamara said rudely as Segun laughed from the other end before concluding
" Tamara it's been a while "Segun laughed as he said from the other end
" if you have no reason for calling then kindly hang up " Tamara replied rudely again
" There's no need to be hostile, I just want us to catch up, 5pm today I'll send you the address "Segun said
" I'm too busy to hang out with a rascal like you " Tamara replied as she ended the call
" Ma that was too rude, he's a human too you know " Williams said
" If you're not going to mind your business then you can get out of my car and never come back " Tamara replied nonchalantly as they continued the ride in silence
Some moments later, Lola received a text from Light Enterprise asking for an emergency meeting
" Ma, the MD of Light Enterprise requested for an emergency meeting by 9'o clock sharp "Lola turned to her boss then said, Tamara sighed deeply before yelling
" WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH SEGUN "She sighed again as she instructed Lola to cancel the meeting
Moments later, they arrived at the company, Lola quickly grabbed the files and the bag as she got down, while Williams parked at the parking lot then went to open the door for Tamara
" Let me have my keys, hang around when I need you I'll call you "Tamara said facing Williams as he stretched the keys to her which she grabbed from him sharply then gave him her phone to put his number, after which she walked inside the company with Lola behind her, she took the private elevator in other to avoid so many greetings.
Later that same day, Amira came to visit Tamara at work, she took the private elevator upstairs, she arrived at the office as she exchanged pleasantries with Tamara
" Ami I've been waiting for you, why did you come so late " Tamara asked
" Girl, this Lagos traffic is something else, and my car broke down on the way " Amira replied
" oh my, so sorry boo, but why didn't you call me, I would have asked my driver to come pick you up " Tamara said
" Tams, my network was lagging, thank God I saw a bus that carried me here "Amira replied
" Yeah thank God, so what mall are we visiting " Tamara asked
" I dunno, tell your driver to take us to the nearest mall along this road "Amira replied as Tamara dailed Williams number which went through immediate. She informed him about that outing as she walked to the entrance with Amira, they got to the parking lot as they zoomed off
The mall....
" Williams can you come in with us to rate the dresses "Amira asked
" No way!, I'm not paying him to rate dresses, I'm paying him to drive me " Tamara said on top her voice
" C'mon girl, you're being too harsh " Amira said
" It's fine ma, I don't wanna lose my job "Williams replied gently
" No, I insist you'll come with us "Amira said as Tamara angrily walked inside the mall leaving Amira and Williams behind
The boutique....
Williams was sitted at the waiting spot, he was offered a glass of drink while he wait for the ladies to finish dressing, Tamara came out of the testing room wearing a black long body hug gown, it was plain and very beautiful, it brought out her figure, Williams couldn't get his eyes off her, he gasped and stared at her continuously.
While Amira wore a stunning short blue gown, she came out of the room and asked Williams
" how do I look " She asked with a dashing smile
" you look very stunning ma "He replied sharply as he smiled at her back, the gown was so beautiful and it also brought out her figure
" Thanks, and please just call me Amira "She replied as she went to where Tamara was sitted with a bitter look
" girl you don't have to be like this, you're being too harsh on him, he's a human for God's sake!!!!!" Amira said to Tamara
" Well, meet me at the car "Tamara angrily walked out of the boutique then went to pay for her dress, after paying she walked outside as Amira followed behind her with a pained look, she quick held her back when they arrived at the parking lot
" Why are you ruining our outing, do you have a personal problem with Wil ? or is there something else you're not saying " Amira questioned slowly
" Amira let's just go "Tamara replied
" Look I'm not talking to you until you start being nice to your staffs, do you want to inherit your father's company with this bad character of yours " Amira said
" I'm sorry, let's just go I'll handle it " Tamara said trying to calm her down
" I'm not entering your car either, I'll book a ride, and make sure you settle with Williams" Amira replied as she left
Tamara quickly entered the car then asked Williams to drive her to a bar where she can ease herself from stress
" Ma I'm sorry for ruining your day "Williams said to his boss sharply
" Williams just shut up and drive " Tamara replied angrily

They arrived at the bar, Tamara came down with her bag as she walked inside the bar then booked a table as she ordered for a very cold soda, she was still on her phone waiting for her order to arrive when she heard a familiar voice from behind her, she turned and saw Segun
" I didn't think you'll come "Segun laughed slightly as he sat with her
" Segun, I'm not here for you, I'm here for a drink so please let me have that drink in peace" Tamara replied gently
" May I have this drink with you " Segun asked with a corny look
" No "Tamara replied nonchalantly as she continued on her phone
" you know you can't say no to me right " Segun laughed
" Because you're who ? " Tamara sighed deeply
" We're family friends " Segun replied
" I said I don't wanna have a drink with you, is that too difficult for your empty brain to capture" Tamara yelled with a flowing accent
" You're just too difficult to get, but trust me I'll get you one day " Segun said with a laugh
" what exactly do you want, the last time I checked we're not friends "Tamara asked
" I want us to work together on this very huge project, we will get a lot of money from it " Segun replied
" I'm never going to work with you "Tamara said to him nonchalantly
" I knew you were going to say this, that's why I'm going to continue disturbing you until you agree "Segun replied as he winks deviously to her then left
