Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Lu Yi was about to ease his attack on the Hulk when the Abomination, whom he had ignored, appeared not far away, roaring excitedly. With thunderous momentum, it rushed toward Lu Yi and then leapt into the air.

Its goal was simple. While Lu Yi was dealing with the Hulk, it would ambush him and let this pitiful little bug know who the real powerhouse was—who had the right to decide others' fate.

Lu Yi floated in the air, but not very high. The monster leaped lightly to his front, raised a fist the size of a sandbag, and struck Lu Yi hard.

The punch was powerful. Even before it made contact, Lu Yi felt a strong pressure from the wind. The gust messed up his hair, pressing it against his scalp, making him realize this was no ordinary punch—it carried immense force.

"So strong!" Lu Yi exclaimed, but his exclamation soon held a hint of mockery. "But no matter how strong you are, you're just a counterfeit. You'll never become the Hulk. Your potential ends here!"

Lu Yi's words hit Abomination's sore spot. Another furious roar erupted, and the arm it used to attack suddenly swelled, striking at Lu Yi with even greater force.

Seeing this, Lu Yi turned off his thermal imaging device, tilted his head slightly, and effortlessly dodged the punch. He grabbed Abomination's wrist with one hand and delivered a fierce slap with the other.

Snap!

Lu Yi's hand landed on Abomination's cheek. Like a spinning top, Abomination spun wildly, while Lu Yi's arm lashed him like a whip, making the monster spin in place.

Abomination spun dozens of times before stopping, and when it finally did, one side of its face was swollen, three or four teeth had been knocked out, and green blood covered its mouth.

"You miserable insect, I will definitely kill you!" he roared, his eyes filled with murderous hatred.

Ignoring its injuries, the monster stomped on the ground and, despite its heavy body, charged agilely toward Lu Yi.

"It seems the Hulk's genes only strengthen your body, not your brain. You can't even judge who's stronger!"

Watching hatred charge at him, Lu Yi descended from the sky without hesitation, stomping onto the ground and leaving a deep crater surrounded by cracks. Then he shot forward like a cannonball.

Hatred felt no fear—on the contrary, he was thrilled. He had never feared Lu Yi. Watching Lu Yi rocket toward him like a missile, he sped up even more, a cold grin curling at the corner of his mouth. He raised his fist and struck at the incoming Lu Yi.

Lu Yi raised his own fist, clashing with Hatred's incoming blow.

"Die!" he laughed madly, filled with hatred.

"You're the one who should die," Lu Yi replied calmly, expressionless.

Arrogance and composure formed a sharp contrast. And amid this contrast was yet another, even more striking one—the drastically different sizes of their fists as they collided, creating a contrast far beyond arrogance and composure itself.

Boom!

The fists collided with a deafening crack, creating a massive shockwave.

The powerful wind burst from the point of impact, blowing rocks and abandoned cars on the street.

Their destructive power was so great that, after the fists collided and released such immense force, Hatred's arrogance paused for a moment, replaced by a painful expression as his body was blasted backwards like a cannonball.

His body slammed into a wall, instantly piercing through it, but he continued flying uncontrollably, crashing through dozens of walls before finally coming to a stop.

Lu Yi kicked aside the rubble blocking his path, walked up to Hatred, and looked down at him calmly.

"You damned worm, how dare you harm this great monster?" the creature roared, staring at its trembling arm that Lu Yi had struck.

"The mighty Hatred? I honestly don't see what's great about you! I beat you like a dog!"

Lu Yi's words were like swords, stabbing deep into Hatred's heart, wrecking what little pride he had. Pain surged within him, and his anger blazed higher, his eyes filled with murderous intent as he glared at Lu Yi.

"Hatred will kill you!"

He barely managed to roar before anger completely took over his mind. Rage made his body expand threefold. The bone spikes on his body began to grow again, transforming into an even more terrifying killing weapon.

"Changing appearances again? You think that will work?"

Before the words were finished, Lu Yi flickered and appeared in front of the monster. Before it could react, Lu Yi lifted a leg, adjusted the angle, and kicked it hard.

The monster once again turned into a cannonball, launched from its position. Its body soared into the air, rising higher and higher. In the blink of an eye, it became a small black dot.

After that, Lu Yi bent his knees and blasted off the ground. In the moment his body lifted into the air, he activated his flight ability, rapidly catching up above the monster, then struck it again with a powerful punch.

Ah!

Lu Yi's fist slammed into the monster's back. It spat out a mouthful of green blood, its upward momentum slowed, and its eyes rolled white like falling stars.

Not everyone can withstand a ten-thousand-ton strike—even Abomination is no exception. The Hulk might, but before that, he would only grow angrier.
