Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

In front of everyone's eyes, a normal-sized human suddenly appeared between the two monsters, emerging from the deafening sound of a sonic boom. The force of the sonic boom was so great that it shattered all the glass on both sides of the street. He extended his hands and stood between the two monsters. Their fists were as large as sandbags, and their arms were thick enough to pull a horse.

Almost everyone was stunned by the sight. They had seen people fear for their lives, but they had never seen anyone as fearless as this.

They had already witnessed the destructive power of these two monsters. After their rampage, the entire block had been almost completely destroyed, with nothing left intact.

In their eyes, Lu Yi's sudden appearance seemed like a death wish. They turned their heads in fear, unable to bear the sight of the bloody scene that was about to unfold.

Only a few soldiers, who had been paying attention to the situation, didn't turn away. They were already accustomed to life-or-death situations, and even the bloodiest and most brutal scenes didn't bother them.

Thanks to this, they witnessed a scene they would never forget.

Lu Yi, standing between the two brutes, was certain to be crushed by their immense power in the eyes of the onlookers, but he remained unscathed, stronger than anyone else.

Just as the two monsters were about to collide, Lu Yi extended his arms—so small in comparison to the two giants, like bean sprouts—and pressed down on their fists and heads.

Bang! Bang!

Two loud crashes sounded almost simultaneously. Lu Yi's arms trembled slightly, and the two brutes froze in mid-air.

"What?"

One of the monsters, the one who resembled a human, couldn't help but shout in disbelief.

"Surprised? There's something even more surprising!"

Lu Yi looked at the monster who had screamed in fear and smiled faintly. His fingers curled into claws as he gripped both monsters tightly. His arms trembled slightly as he firmly held them.

Boom!

With a muffled sound, under Lu Yi's control, the two monsters collided. Their hard bodies and equally tough skulls met in a "friendly" clash.

"Get out of here!"

Lu Yi roared, throwing the two monsters out with a violent motion. They both crashed onto the cement ground. Two more loud crashes followed as the ground instantly cracked open, debris flying in all directions, denting the cars and creating shallow craters in the walls.

"Can't you two just stop causing trouble? Keep going, though!"

Lu Yi shook his head as he looked at the two monsters, who were now groggily lying on the ground. He let out a sigh of relief.

This wasn't because he had vented his frustrations, but because he was incredibly excited that he could defeat the Hulk and Abomination so easily. It was such a thrilling feeling!

He remembered watching those two characters smashing things in movies, thinking how cool and powerful it looked. Now, it was his turn to smash things with them. The sensation was indescribable.

Roar!

Abomination was the first to recover. The dizziness from the impact began to fade. He gave up fighting the Hulk and roared, charging straight at Lu Yi. His strength was like thunder, leaving deep footprints in the ground as he sprinted toward Lu Yi.

"Hulk!"

The Hulk also recovered, unwillingly roaring and stomping toward Lu Yi, wanting to make him regret everything he had done.

However, before he could cover much distance, a massive figure suddenly appeared in front of him. Roaring, the figure lunged toward him. Before he could react, he was hit and sent flying backward by an overwhelming force.

After being sent flying quite a distance, the Hulk finally saw who had collided with him. It was Abomination!

But just as Abomination got close to Lu Yi, Lu Yi punched him in the chest, sending him flying and crashing into the oncoming Hulk.

"Hulk!"

The Hulk was enraged by Lu Yi's actions. He slammed his feet into the ground, leaving deep gouges, his fury barely contained. He gathered his anger, squatted slightly, and then leaped forward, trying to block Lu Yi's path.

Before he could leap fully, two red beams shot out from Lu Yi's eyes, piercing through the thick air and striking the Hulk in the chest, activating the heat vision.

The Hulk's thick skin and muscle made it hard for the heat vision to penetrate, but the shockwave generated by it had a significant effect on him.

The Hulk's body was pushed back uncontrollably. Even though one of his feet had already sunk deep into the cement, Lu Yi kept advancing.

"Hulk!"

The Hulk covered his eyes with both hands to block the heat vision's rays, roaring in fury as he weakly struggled.

But Lu Yi showed no sign of mercy. After cutting off the heat vision, he walked straight toward the Hulk, letting him continue to suffer the effects of the heat vision.

At that moment, the entire block erupted in deafening cheers.

The ordinary civilians, long oppressed by the "brutality" of the Hulk and Abomination, were witnessing these two monsters finally being subjugated. The emotions of the crowd were mixed—they were eager to turn the tables and become the new masters.

"No..."

Amid the cheers, a sharp voice tinged with sobs suddenly rang out. It was the Hulk's girlfriend, who couldn't bear to see the Hulk in pain.

Hearing her sobbing voice, Lu Yi frowned slightly and turned his gaze away.

It wasn't because he was moved by the Hulk's girlfriend's cries, but because her words reminded him that this was the Hulk.

He had just destroyed his house, and he had no deep personal hatred for the Hulk. Letting him suffer a bit was fine, but there was no need to be excessively cruel. The brutal hand should be reserved for those who truly hated him. In the end, the Hulk deserved to die—whether he killed him or not didn't matter.
