Chapter 1 - Why am I

Huff Huff AHHHHH.

He awoke with a bone chilling cold.

His body stiff and chilled slowly stirred, flipping him on his back.

The wet sand crunched as he moved as his heart made all other sounds muffled.

He looked forward.

His eyes wondered along the ridge of clouds as the warm sun burned with a light glow. The light blue water sloshed and churned qs the light waves overlapped and splashed into the sand. The sky light blue with dark bits of purple that seemed to suck the very light out of the surrounding.

It was like from a myth, or even a game.

"Were the fuck am I" he mumbled as he realized he was holding in a breath.

He breathed again as the sharp cold hit him again. He wrapped his arms around himself.

He looked down, down at the sand, down at his feet.

Toes splayed as the cold sand seeped in between them.

"Ha ha" he chuckled dragging his feet through the sand.

eyes half lidded in disbelief as he was hoping this was all just a bad dream.

The light glow from the sun grew stronger as the it peaked over the ocean as the Sene grew ever breath taking.

He turned away from the view with growing irritation.

"Why am i here" he said a slight sorrow in his voice.

He looked down again, eyes wondering through the light gray sand for any grasp of his life before.

His feet scraped lightly over the sand.

"What is that?" His thoughts were put on pause for a second.

He bent down on one knee as he lightly swept the sand away.

A slight twinkle in the sand as the sun reflected a thing light golden.

"Gold?" Being even more confused he continued to dig unmasking the full piece.

Gold glowed slightly, as one of the main gems pulsed. The other slots empty and worn as the groves were filled with sand escaping.

It called to him

The dark blue gem in the main socket of the worn golden crown.

He stared, hard, unblinkingly as he peered deeply into the gem.

It almost moved swirled and moved almost in waves. Dark black from the deep part of the gem moved to the outer edges in a rhythmic way.

it called to him

Without thinking he put it on.
