Outside, Dante quickly looked around.
He saw Haro, Agui and Take sparring.
He ran over.
Hey guys, sorry I'm late, I had a scheduled fight and I had questions for teacher Lanko.
Haro, Agui and Take were standing in a circle eyeing each other.
Haro was visibly more beat up than the other two.
Once they all heard Dante speak, they looked his way.
Oh good a 2v2.
Dante come help me out, these bastards have been ganging up on me all morning.
As Haro's sentence ended Take quickly took the initiative, he quickly ran close to Dante and started his assault.
Agui, not surprised in the least also charged at Dante.
Dante found himself being pelted by punches and kicks.
Most of which he couldn't block or dodge.
Before any real damage could be done Haro jumped into the fight, shoving Agui.
Dante, having space to breath started blocking more of Take's assault.
Take on the other hand was surprised, usually whenever someone is overwhelmed like that they tend to fall.
As the fight continued Dante started attacking back.
He threw a left jab followed by a right hook.
Take ducked under the combo and kicked low.
He struck Dante on his left leg.
Dante staggered a little and Take squatted low and struck with an upper cut.
He landed the upper cut on Dantes abs.
Dante having been hit, coughed up air.
Take, followed up his attack with a spinning elbow.
Dante, was but barely saw the elbow coming for his head, at the last moment, just before he was hit Dante used substitution jutsu.
As a log and a puff of smoke appeared, Take looked up, he had seen this move from Dante, yesterday whenever he fought Haro.
Instead of being in the air Dante was crouched on the ground.
Once the smoke dispersed, Take didn't see Dante in the air.
From the corner of his eye he saw him.
It was too late, Dante grabbed a hand full of sand and threw it at Take.
Take was blinded, he put his arms up in defence. That's when Dante struck.
Dante launched up and grabbed Take, he threw him in backwards as hard as he could.
Take was confused he felt Dante grab him, be he hadn't het the ground.
Two seconds later, he did hit the ground.
As he wiped the sand from his eyes, he caught a glimpse of the scene.
He then realized, Dante just took him out of the fight. Which means he's planning to take out Agui.
Haro and Agui, were fighting just 15ft from Take and Dante.
Agui looked like he was struggling, he was landing more attacks, but Haro shrugged most of them off.
In contrast, Everytime Haro landed a hit Agui felt it.
Just as Agui hit Haro with a vicious combo, three hits, two punches to the head and a flying knee.
He was hit out of nowhere, he was hit so hard he nearly passed out. He was sprawled out on the ground.
Moments before, as Dante threw Take he looked towards Haro and Agui fighting.
He saw Haro tanking blows, and just as Agui landed a two punches to Haro's head and a flying knee, he used body flicker to close the distance.
In an instant he was right behind Agui.
Agui was still mid air from his flying knee, so Dante hit Agui mid air with a round house kick.
That was enough to knock Agui 5ft away, and he didn't get back up instantly.
Dante then looked at Haro.
Haro managed to block the flying knee, but was dazed from the two punches.
Once Haro stabilized himself, they both charged out towards Take.
Take had retreated closer to the tree line.
Once Haro and Dante were close enough, a shadow shot out.
Take was using his shadow possession jutsu.
He trapped them both, Dante and Haro were immobilized, but they were both struggling.
Take was depleting his chakra fast, he had to do something.
Just as he was gonna make a play, his control over Dante wavered.
Dante used the brief moment and body flickered in front of Take.
Take was surprised, he hadn't seen him use that jutsu earlier.
Once Dante was in front of Take he kicked out.
Take had no choice but to release Haro and block.
Take blocked Dantes kick and as Haro was making his way to the fight.
Take came to his conclusion.
I surrender!
Dante was confused, this was just a spar so why would he surrender?
Not delaying a moment Take took advantage of Dantes confusion and jumped, did a spin in the air and kicked Dante on the head.
Dante was sent flying, he was knocked out.
Haro managed to close the distance and grabbed Take and slammed him on the ground.
From there Take struggled, but was eventually worn out.
Unable to fight back, Haro was too heavy and too strong.
Dante passed out, Agui got back up and walked over to a tree and sat down.
Take was panting, laying on the ground.
Haro was sitting at the same tree as Agui, but he was eating potato chips.
The fight only lasted 3 minutes, but it was intense from the beginning.
30 minutes later Dante woke up.
Damn, what the hell I got knocked out.
As Dante woke up he saw Take, Haro and Agui sitting at at tree.
He walked over.
You alright asked Take.
Yeah I'm good, just came off guard.
It was a good move, I shouldn't have let my guard down.

I think that caught all of us off guard.
Haro and Agui both nodded to that.

Yes, I did win. I took a hit and grabbed him, then I slammed him on the ground as hard as I could. Then once I was about to knock him out, his dog attacked me.

You do that a lot. Grabbing and slamming, that's dangerous.
If you grab the wrong ninja, you could easily get killed.
What if you grab a clone and it has an explosion tag on it? Asked Take.
Dante thought about it and realized Take was right.
Dante hasn't been fighting like a ninja, he's just been doing what he used to watch on t.v in his old world, and while that might work in regular fights and spars.
In ninja fights everyone is armed.
Everyone carries kunai or swords or some sort of cold weapon.
Agui then spoke, everyone knows about the graduation gift.
The village will provide every graduate with a weapon or a D-Rank jutsu.
Dante was shocked, if he hadn't tricked teacher Lanko into getting him a weapon and asked for one at graduation he would have lost out on a free jutsu.
Haro spoke after.
It's impressive, you managed to win a fight against Taka.
He's one of best fighters in the academy 3rd place behind Megumi and Sona.
Dantes was further shocked. He wasn't aware Taka was at that level.
Haro spoke again, we will rest 30 minutes and go again, we'll switch teams though.
Take and Agui nodded, Dante shook his head and also nodded.
Dante then layed down resting on the tree and said I'm gonna meditate, let me know when it's time.
Alright said Haro.
Dante, then closed his eyes and opened his status screen.
The looked through and noticed "scrappy" was level 8.
It had leveled up a bunch from fighting.
The passive effect was at 8% now.
That skill levels up fast...
Makes sense since I have to be in combat to even gain experience for it.
Still though, this was only my third fight.
After he looked over his status, not much changed.
He had only been sparring, not killing.
So the exp rates for his other skills had stopped.
After 30 minutes passed by he heard Haro speak.
Dante it's time to fight.
Dante opened his eyes and stood up.
Alright let's get to it.
They prepared to fight again.
They continued until it was time to go home, the did 2v2's 1v1' and 1v3's.
Take would occasionally use substitution jutsu and body flicker throughout the fights.he was able to level up substitution jutsu to level 2 close to level 3.
And body flicker to level 4.
Body Flicker had a 1 second cooldown and the chakra usage depends on how far you want to travel.
So when it was his turn to take on the other three he would use body flicker.
He found himself using it often, the other three's teamwork was really good so he had to constantly escape.
It was less of a fight and more of a chase.
Dante was ok with that since he gained a lot of experience for the jutsu.
In the end, Take noticed after Dante body flickered he always waited a second before doing it again.
That was enough information to set a trap.
He had Agui chase after him and once he flickered he sent Haro next.
After Haro was close to Dante he flickered again.
Take had corned Dante with him even realizing.
As Dante appeared he tried to move but he couldn't.
He knew instantly, he was caught by Take.
Dante lost all his 1v1 fights.
Haro was too strong Agui was too fast and Take was mercy less.
His performance in 2v2's were better, even though everyone knew he could body flicker, no one knew when he would do it, and no one could keep up with that speed.
Dante, don't forget come to my house today said Take.
Yeah, same here said Agui.
Come to my house as well said Haro.
Haro, Take and Agui all left together and Dante walked the opposite way.
On his way home he saw someone.
A pale skinned man with snake like eyes.
It was orochimaru.
Inside Dante was nervous, if he caught orochimarus eye he would be experimented on.
As he walked by orochimaru noticed him, but didn't take any action. He already knew about Dante.
He had secretly taken some samples when Dante was younger and didn't find anything special about him.
His physical appearance was all that was different.
Dante not knowing orochimaru already ran tests on his body walked by trying his best to not look nervous.
As he was about to make a turn, he heard someone call out to him.
When he looked back it wasn't orochimaru, his heart rate eased after he noticed who it was.

It was Sora's mom Sara.
Miss Sara, nice to see you again.
I've been training all day with some classmates.
Hmm... Ok.

Sara said I'm on my way out of the village, I'm going on a mission.
Secretly she was looking for Dante though.

That should be enough until you graduate.
Before Dante could say anything she body flickered away.
Dante stood there for a while staring at the money.
Then he put it in his pocket and went home.
He didn't see it's as a hand out. He saw it as a loan.
One he intended to pay back.
Once he was at his house, he sat down on his bed.

He decided to wait. He already told Take, Haro and Agui that he would go to their houses. Even if he no longer needed the money.
Once he made up his mind, he stepped into the bathroom and showed.
He then stepped out and got dressed, once outside he had to make his way to Take's house first.
Oh shit!!! I didn't ask them how I could get to their clan compounds....
As he was struggling internally, people started whispering about him again.
This happened every time someone saw him on the streets.
He heard the usual insults, demon, abomination. Some people even wondered why the hokage allowed him in the village.
Dante shook his head to clear his thoughts.
I'll just walk around until I see a ninja and ask them.
As Dante walked down the street he approached the first ninja he saw.

The ninja turned around and as he did Dante recognized him instantly.

Dante was stunned, everyone who watched the show would recognize him.
He was one of the ninja's the viewers learned about the most. One of the greatest ninja ever.
Hmmm, Kakashi turned around and as he did he saw a boy.
Not yet a ninja, his head had horns on it and he had red eyes.
What a strange looking kid, I wonder what they are putting in the water now a days.... Kakashi thought to himself.
The boy looked like he had seen stars.
Does he know me? I've never met him... I have heard rumors of a boy with horns walking around for years but I didn't believe them.
Hey weird kid, the Nara compound is that way.
Kakashi pointed behind him. Just keep walking and you'll start seeing more Nara.
Once there just ask one where the compound entrance is at.
Once Kakashi was done giving direction he left.
Dante was too star struck to reply. After a second he started walking where Kakashi pointed.
Weird boy? Some weird looking kid must have been behind me.
As Dante continued walking he saw a Nara clans man.
I'm looking for Take's house. Take Nara he goes to the ninja academy.
The Nara clans man looked at Dante and flinched, keep walking and you'll enter the compound.
Take lives in the west side of the compound.
Ok, thanks Dante said as he continued to walk.
After a minute of walking he was finally at the Nara compound gate, there he saw Take.
Dante sped up, hey Take I'm here, sorry it took so long I didn't know how to get here.

I just got here too, come one follow me.
Take then took Dante into the compound and started walking west.
I live pretty close to the gate so it's easy to remember.
3 minutes later they arrived at Takes house.
Alright let's get down to business.
I need you to clean up all the leaves around the house and pile them up.

Even though Dante was getting a reward from his system, how could he miss the opportunity to make a little extra.
Dante then started cleaning all the leaves.
Take's house wasn't big. A normal sized house.
The thin is there where trees everywhere around his house.
Trees in front trees in the back, his neighbors had trees.
As Dante was picking up all the leaves, he noticed he was taking too long.
He then had an idea.
He used triple cast and then used clone jutsu.
Three clone popped out. Dante then instructed them clean up leaves and pile them here.
Things were noticable faster.
Take was watching Dante for a while.
Just as he was about to leave, he say Dante use the clone jutsu, and three clones popped into existence.
Three clones at once, he must have practiced in secret.
AmTake then went inside. 30 minutes later he heard a knock at his door.
It was Dante he had finished, all the leaves were piled up in one big pile.
Take then gave Dante the promised 15 ryo.
Thanks Take, I have to go to Haro's house and Aguis now.

Dante then left, he would go to Agui first.
At Agui's house.
Dante knocked.

That way I'm still a ninja, but taking missions won't be my work anymore.

Then the door opens, Agui walked in.
The first thing he saw was his sister, she had tears in her eyes, but she was laughing.
That was confusing, he knew she was struggling with a choice, one she didn't share with anyone, but outwardly he noticed she had changed, she wasn't smiling or laughing as much anymore not like she used too.
Then he saw Dante also laughing.
Dante noticed and stood up, Agui I finished the work.
Dante, what did you do to my sister?
Agui asked confused.
We just talked, talked about life.

He then allocated his free stats into strength bringing his strength to 8.
He once again tried to lift the small boulder.
This time he was able to get it off the ground.
He then threw it with all his might.
It landed 3 ft away.
Dante was a bit embarrassed.
Haro said that works, now let's keep going until we get tired.
An hour later Dante was done, completely worn out layed out on the ground and Haro was still standing, breathing heavily but standing.
29 minutes later Dante got up.
He had forgotten to clarify compensation since he was surprised by the quest rewards this time.
Alright here you go, Haro handed Dante 100 ryo.
Dante didn't haggle this time, he was content with that and more importantly the quest reward.
Why don't you come inside for dinner Dante.

Danye looked at the sky, the sun was setting and he still had to use his dungeon key.

Then a big man walked in, it was Haro's brother he was tall taller than Haro at least 7ft 2 inches.
In comparison Oki looked to be about 6ft 7 inches and Thera was about 6ft.

Dante was dumbfounded, he wasn't short for a 12 year old. He was 5ft 9 inches and growing.
Of course a 7ft giant would see him as small. Everyone was small compared to him.

He turned to the voice it was Woll, he had a whole chicken in one hand and a 20oz steak on a fork in the other.
Dante looked around, it was the same with everyone else.
He then started to eat, as much as he could and then more.
He wouldn't let this opportunity go to waste.
15 minutes later, all the food was gone.
So kid what kind of ninja are you going to be? Asked Oki, I mean what's your specialization?

Dante thought to himself, I used to always think I'm gonna be a ninjutsu specialist, but now that I'm here and with this system.
I don't believe I can't be everything, with time.
Dante then spoke, I'm going to be a ninjutsu specialist with taijutsu as a secondary specialization, or weapons whatever I'm more talented at.
Will then asked ninjutsu? Do you know any? Besides the academy three.
Yes, currently I can use the body flicker jutsu and one other.

After another 15 minutes of conversation, mostly about academy life.

Despite Thera being a bit surprised by Dantes appearance in the beginning she was the first to speak up.

Dante then said, I would love to but I can't.
I still have chakra control training to do tonight.
Alright Dante said Thera she stood up walked up to Dante and gave him a hug.
She then gave him a packed lunch and said feel free to come by if you ever get hungry.
Oki then said that's right kid, don't be a stranger.
Woll said see ya around little ninja.
Dante then walked to the door with his packed lunch and Haro followed behind him.
As Dante opened the door he spoke.

Haro replied no biggie, well do this again.

Then Dante walked out.
As Haro walked back to the kitchen to finish his family dinner his brother spoke up.
He lied....
Everyone looked at Woll.
His other jutsu, he's already mastered it he just doesn't want anyone to know.
Thera spoke up, so what thats his business.
Then she took out cakes. One for everyone.
Everyone moved past Wolls statement and started eating cake instead.
As Dante walked home, he noticed it was dark and the streets were empty.
It felt weird, like something was about to happen.
He started to run home, as fast as he could.
He had seen too many movies and shows with this scene, and he wasn't taking any chance.
He got home quickly, he still had the weird feeling, but to a lesser degree.
