Chapter 82 - Chapter 82 White Wolf and Alien Spaceship

As if discerning the security guard's intention to shoot, White Wolf didn't wait for him to raise his gun, letting out a low growl and lunging forward.

"Damn it!"

Feeling Death's approach, the security guard immediately raised his pistol, ready to fire.

But he was still a step too slow and was knocked down by White Wolf with a "bang."

The pistol he was holding also instantly flew out of his hand.

Having taken a Talon to the chest, he only felt a burning pain in his body, with sharp pangs coming from his back where he was struck.

Terrified and incapacitated, he could only watch helplessly as White Wolf's fangs neared his throat.

"No! No! Please, don't kill me!"

Feeling Death approaching, the security guard desperately begged White Wolf for mercy.

White Wolf, whose eyes glowed faintly, paused its fierce movements upon hearing the security guard's pleas.

It slowly removed its Talon from the security guard's body, glanced at him, then turned and quickly ran into the forest.

The security guard, who had been praying with his eyes closed, only dared to open them after feeling the weight on his body disappear.

Still shaken, he stumbled to his feet and looked around.

In the dark, deep forest, white dense fog surged out.

He touched the wound on his chest, ignoring the pain in his body, and quickly ran to the pickup truck at the fastest speed, started the engine, and escaped the construction site.

The next day.

"I am the sea wind; I will steal your sails, roaring through your tattered hull, preventing you from moving forward."

Mark and Clark stood side by side, both poised and ready for a race.

To build momentum before the race, Mark spoke harsh words to Clark.

Clark was not to be outdone: "Alright, then I am the indestructible Golden Ship."

After both were ready, Mark pulled out a matchstick and flicked it forward.

As the spinning matchstick ignited in the air, both dashed out with lightning speed.

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh!"

Two Shadows moved almost abreast.

But very quickly, Clark fell behind.

When the two reached the fork in the road, they chose different paths to their destination.

"Bang!"

Mark activated his super jump, easily leaping over a hill and landing heavily on the ground.

However, before he could continue running forward, the soft ground suddenly gave way.

The ground collapsed, and Mark, caught off guard, was instantly swallowed down.

On the other side.

After Clark reached the finish line, Mark was nowhere to be seen.

Logically, even if Mark wasn't as fast as him, he shouldn't have taken this long to arrive.

Worried, he immediately returned along the original path to look for Mark, but still found nothing.

"Godfather!"

Peter was cleaning the Barn on the farm when Clark rushed over in a panic.

"Godfather! Mark is missing!"

"Missing?!"

Looking at the sweating Clark, a big question mark appeared above Peter's head.

"Don't worry, Clark, tell me, what happened?"

Peter comforted Clark, telling him to slowly recount what happened.

"We were racing, I chose a different path, and then John John disappeared."

"John will be fine, Clark, now take me to where you and John raced."

He didn't really believe Mark would be in trouble.

With that kid's current superpowers, he wouldn't easily fall.

Unless Soldier Boy descended like a god, and a chest blast eliminated Mark's superpowers.

Taking Clark, Peter investigated along the original path and quickly discovered a suspicious spot.

A collapsed cave appeared before the two of them.

Peter stood above and shouted down: "John, are you in there?"

"I'm down here, Dad."

Hearing Mark's voice, Peter breathed a sigh of relief.

Although he wasn't too worried about the other party encountering an accident, he still let out a long breath after confirming they were alright.

"Bang!"

Taking Clark, he jumped into the collapsed cave, landing heavily on the ground.

Mark was standing in front of the rock wall, looking at something, and seeing Peter come down, he immediately walked quickly to his side.

"Are you alright, John?"

"I'm fine, Dad, I've been looking at the murals since I fell down."

Peter nodded and stroked Mark's hair, looking around.

The cave was wide and dim, with seemingly ancient murals carved on the rock walls.

Just as he was about to examine the mural content closely, he noticed that there seemed to be someone else's presence in the dark cave.

"Thump! Thump! Thump!"

Footsteps came from a corner of the cave.

Then a young woman holding a flashlight appeared in the three people's view.

The woman, carrying a tool bag and holding a flashlight, looked at Peter and the three with surprise.

"You, you guys!"

She shone the flashlight on their heads, "Did you fall from above?"

"Yes."

Peter looked at the young woman with bronze skin in front of him, "Who are you?"

"I'm Kelly, doing some research nearby, and came to check after hearing the rock collapse, didn't expect to enter here."

She took off her tool bag and deftly pulled out bandages and hemostatic agents from it, "It's a hundred feet high here, you must be badly injured from the fall."

Seeing Kelly about to treat them, Clark and Mark looked at Peter for help.

"They're fine, maybe there was some cushioning below."

Peter indicated that none of them were injured and did not need treatment.

Just as Kelly was about to say something more, Mark suddenly pointed at the mural on the wall and said, "Dad, what is this?"

Peter cast his gaze towards the rock wall.

The rock wall depicted a painting about extraterrestrial visitors.

Amidst a sky full of meteor showers, a spaceship descended from the sky.

The content after the spaceship's descent was a scene of doomsday in a city of ruins, with collapsed buildings and a shattered sky.

Kelly shone her flashlight on the mural and said in surprise, "This is very similar to the stories passed down in our tribe."

"Are you indigenous people?"

Peter asked the girl.

"Yes, I am a Kawaqi person from nearby."

Kelly shone her flashlight on the surrounding murals, her expression growing increasingly surprised.

"This story has been passed down in our tribe for many years; it is a prophecy that Fire will rain down from the sky, bringing a hero, and every so often, the Fire will bring a person chosen by destiny."

As she spoke, she shone her flashlight on a mural.

"Here, these chosen people of destiny will throw the entire Universe into turmoil, leading the World into war, but at the same time, they will also be the ones to cleanse sin and rebuild order."

Peter felt a slight stir within him as he listened to Kelly's narration.

Fire raining down from the sky, bringing a person chosen by destiny every so often—wasn't this describing his own situation?!

The system sends an infant every so often, and these infants are all people chosen by destiny?

They will cleanse sin and rebuild order?!

How will they cleanse and rebuild?

Could it be that they are going to conduct an interstellar war, or a great galactic expedition?

Mark didn't notice Peter's confusion, he leaned closer to the mural to carefully examine the spaceships.

"Dad, I can help you capture all the people from these spaceships."

Mark said with full confidence.
